Amazing service in Austin, TX by Michael! I requested pick up for a queen size mattress around 11am Friday. He arrived 3 hours from time of scheduling. He picked up the mattress without any issues and was gone in less than a minute. This was the easiest to schedule, the fastest to pickup, all with transparent pricing (no hidden fees or last minute charges). I'd say it was worth the value considering I was trying to get rid of my mattress fast, and live in an apartment complex with 3 flights of stairs. There is an up charge for flights of stairs, but it's worth it. Not an easy task but much appreciated. The service is transparent and they keep you informed every step of the way (service confirmation, loader assigned, loader on the way, loader has arrived, loader has picked up, service complete). Another up charge for same day service but you can't beat it. There is a discount for putting your items outside your home instead of them entering to remove the items. Highly recommend, especially for folks living in apartments and not sure how to get rid of junk! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THE SCAM COMPANY.... I booked a sofa removal for today. I am getting a new one and needed this one gone TODAY to make room for for it. I booked time and PREPAID. Last night I get a call from a caller ID that states its a Medical company. They are calling to verify my booking. Red Flag #1 Then today I get a text stating unforeseen problem with my order we will do our best to complete pickup today. So I call and get run aground I ask to speak to manager and I am told i am being transferred to one. Turn's out they train their reps to pose as managers. He wasn't a manager at all. Finally I demand to speak to one. Told multiple times NO. Then finally get one on the phone that is BEYOND RUDE. I am told I did not pay upfront and the service is if we can get around to you we will and then you pay. This was a LIE. They authorized my card when I chose the PREPAY option. This is just a third party company that takes your money and hires another company to actually do the work. So, if they can find someone cheap enough they will hire them and then take a cut. I received a quote for removal of a mattress and a bookcase. When loader arrived, they arrived without any professional moving and packing equipment, resulting in a mess of wood chips and dust in the hallway of my apartment building. They also damaged the elevator of the apartment building as the bookcase was not padded, resulting in a $400 charge from my building. The loaders charged me $40 more than the upfront quote for the removal of two items. BE AWARE THAT THEIR UPFRONT GUARANTEED PRICING IS NOT GUARANTEED!!!! The new charge was not communicated to me until AFTER everything was done and they refused to leave without payment, with NO EXPLANATION OF THE EXTRA COST. I contacted LoadUp customer service and they refused to take accountability, saying that it was a "connect" order. It is fraud and false advertising at the very least. At every stage of the process they told me my "Loaders" and LoadUp Team and my "LoadUp Driver" were on their way, which led me to believe they would take accountability for the actions of their team. BE AWARE WHEN GOING THROUGH LOADUP THAT THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR CONTRACTORS! you may end up with responsibility for extra costs with no explanation, and for damages to your property during removal. read more

This was the most horrific experience I've ever had with a company. I booked the service in advance, prepaid for the service and had a set scheduled appointment time, on Mother's Day no less. Big Mistake on my part! My appointment time was for 12-4pm. I received a call at 2:30pm, informing me that they would not be making this time, that they were rescheduling me for 4-8pm. When I asked for a discount for having ruined my holiday, I was told that they have the right to change times as they see fit, but not me. Oh okay... After waiting all day, they finally arrived at my house around 7:30-7:45pm. It probably was closer to 8pm as the pic I snapped of them attempting to load the 1st piece of furniture on the sprinter van they showed up in was time stamped at 8:09pm. They were trying to remove the mirror with a hammer as they couldn't locate the "tools" they claimed they had when they left wherever they came from. All in all, it took them almost 2 1/2 hours to remove the 5 items that I had after making me wait all day for them to arrive. Happy Mother's Day to me. Good thing that's all the junk I have, as I'll NEVER be utilizing this service again. I'll take my chances with the City.
