Food 5/5 -Smoked brisket burger $18, I have to say...if you come here and didn't get a burger, you're doing it wrong. Burger was cooked to perfect medium rare as requested, the brisket was smokey and shredded, just the perfect touch to this burger that worked so well with the roasted poblano and crispy onions. The drinks came out quickly and were nice and cold -- honestly the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately the food took about 20-25 minutes, and when it finally arrived it was disappointing. Everything was cold. The fries especially felt like leftovers that had been sitting for a while, which is never a good sign when you're expecting fresh bar food. I'm not overly picky, but if there's one thing I care about it's hot food -- especially fries. The drinks were solid, but the kitchen missed the mark this time. Based on this experience, we won't be coming back.

I ended up getting the breakfast burrito without the bacon to make it vegetarian and it was sooooo good. The salsa it came with was a wonderful mild red salsa. I would definitely order this breakfast burrito again. Plus the burrito was only $12.95, that is not bad at all. I also loved that they host a lot of fun themed nights and events. This really seems like a fun place to work and attend regularly, I wish it was closer to me. The day I went all the of the staff were dressed in PJs because they had a PJ party event planned for that evening. They had indoor seating as well as an outdoor back patio. Plenty of seating and plenty of TVs.

The patio itself is super nice, everyone there was friendly right away and the place just felt welcoming. I ordered a Bloody Mary, some wings, and a fish taco and everything hit the spot. The experience overall was awesome. One thing I thought was really cool is during happy hour they spin a wheel and whatever it lands on becomes the promotion for the next 30 minutes, which keeps everyone engaged and makes it fun for the whole crowd. The bartenders were awesome too, super attentive and easy to talk to. Definitely a place I'd come back to again. Five stars all the way around,. If you're ever in Lakeside you should definitely check this place out, and their happy hour is great too. #LakesideCA #HappyHourVibes #FoodieFinds #PatioVibes #WingsAndTacos #LocalSpots

Once the music got set up on the patio, it was so loud, you couldn't talk with anyone at the table. not a nice way to spend a relaxing afternoon with friends. but ok, we moved inside. The music, by the way, was excellent. So it's not that. Inside we had a server who seemed new or not very well trained. For a place that serves breakfast and lunch, it was odd that at 10 minutes before noon, we still could not order "lunch" items. but ok - pivot to breakfast. we placed drink orders and food. What came out was disappointing. we asked if the bottomless mimosas could have a little cranberry juice added. Server said not problem. What came out were cranberry mimosas, no orange juice in sight. when food came out, it left a lot to be desired. The avocado toast order was awful. plain white, grocery bread barely toasted with an avocado smash (container spread from the store or costco?) and dried grated parmesan cheese (like from the plastic container in the grocer) not as advertised and definitely not what one expects for this dish. The side of bacon was forgotten. The eggs benedict looked ok however the hollandaise sauce was barely existent and what was there was split. Making it barely edible. The other breakfast dishes were just ok. Biscuits and gravy looked good. lots of it and chunky. scrambled eggs and hashbrowns are hard to mess up. But for one person, the hashbrowns were pretty much cooked to a crisp and a lot of grease on the plate. that person left those to the bin. And had a hair on the plate. We had to ask for the bottomless mimosa to be refilled. The server took the glasses, and when they came back, one was orange, one was cranberry and THE GLASSES WERE REUSED! Unacceptable!! if the server didn't know, the bartender should know NOT to reuse glasses. Even if it is our own glasses, you don't reuse them. So, this was a trial to bring some out of town guests this summer for a "home town experience." We won't be coming here. If you want music, mediocre food, and drinks (that you don't have to interact with people) - this will be ok. The band was really good. The food experience was dreadful.

Had such a great dinner tonight at Mediterraneo in Alpine!…read more We started with a few appetizers and honestly...they were the highlight. The MELENZANE RIPIENE (eggplant stuffed with ricotta, parmesan, and cherry tomatoes) was incredible: rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The calamari fritti was crispy and delicious, and the TONNO ASIATICO (seared ahi tuna with sweet chili glaze, ginger, teriyaki, and wasabi) was a huge hit at the table. We also had to try their house-made mozzarella sticks, don't skip these...the cheese pull alone is worth it For the mains, we had the CAPELLINI ALLA CHECCA and the RIGATONI ALLA NORMA, and both were fantastic. You can really taste the difference, the pasta is imported from Italy, and it shows in the texture and flavor. My husband also ordered the margherita pizza and said it's the best he's ever had, which says a lot! The space itself is big, welcoming, and super versatile. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, plus a large bar with a full menu. We tried a couple drinks from their spring menu: the pistachio espresso martini and the berry margarita both were so fun and tasty. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, which really made the whole experience even better. Bonus: they have a great family-friendly area with arcade games and a pool table, which makes it perfect whether you're going out as a couple or with a group. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!
