    Food Truck

Diane and I really liked the several items we ordered from this food truck when it came into our community for a day. The choices looked so good in picture form that I over-ordered, so besides a sumptuous and very filling dinner, I also enjoyed an excellent mildly spicy Shrimp Po Boy with Tomato Cajun Tartar Sauce on a soft toasted New England Roll with Hand-Cut Skin-on French Fries for lunch the next day. I placed our order 45 minutes in advance, and it was all hot and ready for pickup when I returned at the exact appointed minute. The workers were friendly, and the order was totally accurate. I headed back home with my wallet slightly less than $100 lighter, but it was worth it. And, right after I returned, while Diane delighted in a delicious Overstuffed Hot Lobster Roll (Connecticut Style) with Drawn Tarragon & Lime Butter, along with a generous serving of tasty Hand Cut Skin-on Fries, I wolfed down a cool Lobster Avocado Roll, a warm Shrimp Roll filled with large shrimps bathed in Garlic Sauce, and two orders of fresh Fries. I look forward to a quick return trip or will hunt this food truck down wherever else it might be on a given day when nothing but succulent lobster and shrimp will do.

Super small potion lobster roll, no tail meat. Very greasy. Burnt fries.

My lobster roll hardly any lobster meat in it, and was very greasy. The fries were soggy and greasy as well.

The absolute best lobster rolls and fries! Smash burgers are delicious. Things a food truck and they have moved to another state. Too bad.

Go to Lukes! Not worth the money. It felt like an assembly line and for the money, you received scraps of lobster.

I think the secret is already out but man do I love this place!…read more Vibe, ambiance, friendly, engaging bartenders! We enjoy our time. You can feel like you're at a private golf club but without the membership. There are two separate bars, one sunken that overlooks the golf course. The other one is higher up and over the lower bar. The higher bar feels a little more sophisticated, but we like the energy of the lower one with all the natural light, although it is surrounded by television screens, and there are always lots of Sporting events being televised. They often feature bingo in the lower bar area. There is also a separate dining room, which looks very chic and we have not dined there yet. Plenty of beautiful sunlight so seems appropriate for brunch. And we did sit near to the hostess stand with a group of friends for happy hour one time which was really fun. You're floating in the middle of the floor a little but it was still a good time. We enjoyed our wings and our cocktails. This is a great local spot very conveniently located and tucked back off the 98.

The food was excellent, the views great, but service was marginal…read more We went with a large group of people for an early dinner and everyone ordered something different. I personally ordered the burnt ends sandwich and my wife ordered the beet salad, so we split and swapped it. The burnt ends sandwich was great, and my wife loved the beet salad. Of note, a few in our group ordered the Banh Mi, which was huge and they loved it. The downside was we were neglected probably due to the size of our group. The servers didn't visit our table after the food was delivered, so I had to walk pitchers of water to the bartender to get refilled. Also, it was pretty hot, and we were pestered by a few flies. The view was great, and we will probably return with a smaller group in the winter.

10/10 Experience at Papa Nalu…read more If you're anywhere near this gem, RUN, don't walk to Papa Nalu! I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Leilani, and let me tell you, she made the entire experience unforgettable. Her service was not only warm and attentive, but her menu recommendations were spot on. It turns out her dad is the chef and owner, which made her insights into the menu even more special... you could feel the pride in every dish she described! I ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke with white rice, and it was genuinely one of the best poke bowls I've ever had, super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. We also couldn't resist trying the tacos and ended up getting both the blackened and fried versions. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite, they were both outrageously good! From the food to the friendly vibes, this place is a total win. You can taste the love in every bite, and the hospitality from Leilani made it even better. Highly, highly recommend, can't wait to go back!

Ambiance - nice clean pleasant music and not too loud. Their floor does need a deep cleaning…read more Service - Lauren was our waitress. She was quick and efficient. She even brought out a cleaning rag and drying rag when my 87 yo mother complained that the table top was sticky. It wasn't. It was the topping on the table. Food - I'm not a fan of can soda instead of a fountain drink, but restaurants need to do what makes financial sense to them. The coconut shrimp was brought in ie NOT FRESH. The sweet and sour sauce was nothing special. The macaroni salad was ok nothing special. Rice is rice and the broccoli was not over cooked. My blackened mahi mahi was good. They actually know how to blacken a fish. AMAZING. The Mauna Kea sauce was ok, nothing special. Please explain what makes this a Hawaiian restaurant? Is it the little cups of "Hawaiian" sauces? Funny I don't remember them when I was in Maui.
