They also have a "daily specials" menu that can't be beat. A great Value. What's even more cool about this place is they have a very cute little mexican bar in the back & they also have the best prices on tequila. You can get A shot of Don Julio here for $7.95! Ole! They serve them chilled in a rocks glass also, just the way moi likes them :)' We went for date night. We both ordered the wrong thing as we had not been there before. Hubby got the beef enchiladas with red & green sauce, which he loved. However, he wished he would have gotten them with the chili con carne & cheese sauce instead as they would have rocked his world that way. Next time. Moi ordered the molcajete bowl & it was a ton of food with excellent grilled tortillas. However, the shrimp were too small, wish I would have gotten more of the yummy chicken, the beef was also good & the chorizo was fabulous as was the cactus. So, do not recommend the shrimp at all. If your going to order the molcajete bowl ask for more chicken or beef in exchange for the shrimp, as they are too small & become way over cooked in the hot molcajete bowl. The way to go here is to just order simple tacos. The Beef, Chicken, chorizo, cactus etc., is all very good by themselves as is the grilled flour tortillas. They also have a fajitas dish for 2 with beef, Chicken, Shrimp, bacon & pineapple that we are dying to try. Next time! Now for the bad news. The lime margarita sucks. It's very pretty but it has a fake sugar aftertaste. I do not recommend it. Hopefully the Margarita on the rocks is better. Maybe just stick to the beers & tequila! Ole! Recommend for Cheap Eats! Will return!

Additionally, the live music on the covered patio was a great touch. Loved how the vibes here were more than just another touristy seafood spot on the beach. Now for the food- everything was absolutely incredible. They print their menus daily to ensure it's up to date with their fresh catches. We started with the crab claws and BBQ oysters, which were both so flavorful and perfect appetizer. The garlic butter from the crab claws was so good I could have drank it straight from the dish. For mains: The special they had when we went last Friday was tilefish with grits, brussel sprouts, and fried shrimp and it was a must (2/6 at our table got this). Another big hit was the grouper piccata- this is another must get, and what the local in our party gets everytime she comes. The whipped potatoes are just delicious. Other dishes we got were the filet mignon and honey wasabi yellowfin tuna. You truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu! In the words of our server.. "chef could prepare a shoe and I'd eat it!" To finish the night, we had the key lime pie & the signature praline basket (with a brownie). Both desserts were, you guessed it, amazing. The key lime pie enthusiast at our table said it was the best he's ever had. The Grand Marlin will be seeing me again next time I'm in town!!

Waste of money and a good time!…read more We should've known we were in for a lackluster experience when no one was at the front to seat us. Once we got seated, it took almost ten minutes to be greeted by our server, Makayla. That will be a prevailing theme over the course of the meal. We ordered and got our food in a good amount of time. The tower of nachos was definitely the best-tasting of our meals...but that bar was pretty low. The La Mexicana Burger was completely bland and had zero flavor; my son's shrimp and veggies were so covered in garlic that he couldn't taste anything else. My wife ordered a specialty drink that never arrived. Every time we brought it up, Makayla had an excuse. We eventually said, "Cancel it," as we were done with our meal. The check comes and there's an automatic 20% gratuity. Our server's performance wasn't worth 20 cents, let alone 20%. My son said there was a tiny sign at the front that talked about the automatic gratuity. I understand the desire to take care of your servers, but automatic gratuity does not encourage servers to serve; it encourages them to be exactly like our server - lazy. We asked for our son's drink to-go. We waited another ten minutes...no drink. Eventually, we reminded Makayla, and she had another excuse. My wife couldn't wait to get out of here. This is by far the worst restaurant on the beach. Even worse than the original RFBF before they got new management. If you're on the boardwalk, go to Bamboo Willie's, or even Papa John's, because you'll get a better dining experience. Or even better: walk a little bit and go to Flounders where you'll never get poor service or bad food. This place is a stain on Pensacola Beach. Pic of the tower of nachos.

I looked at the board to see what they offered and wasn't sure where to begin. The wonderful woman by the door handed me a paper menu and asked if I had been there before. Once she learned I was new, she walked me through the menu. I went with the Build Your Own burrito bowl; though you can build your own tacos, burritos, quesadillas or nachos. You start by picking your favorite protein, I went with Barbacoa. Then you add as many fresh free toppings as you would like. I can say that I ate about half and took the rest home. My husband went with a mix & match taco basket, with a side of chorizo refried beans. The chorizo refried beans are so good, kind of jealous, though my black beans were also good. Next time, I may get the chorizo refried beans on my burrito bowl because, yes, they are part of the fresh free toppings. I also tried their Cucumber margarita, as I was a day too early for the Watermelon margarita. The bartender suggested adding jalapenos to the cucumber margarita next time. That was so tasty! You order from the counter and they bring the food to your table. While it seems like counter service, everyone was so attentive it was like have multiple servers taking care of everything. So be sure to add a tip :) They also have reasonably priced family meals that are quite impressive.

I won't lie, my wife looked exquisite that night! We had been down by the bar for about 10 minutes as we were waiting for our table, as is very common on almost every night! We order two mixed drinks from the bar, even though waiting in line at the bar was just as much a wait for a table at times... my wife notices a gentleman down at the end of the bar and he's eyeballing or making her feel slightly uncomfortable... and as we wait for our drinks to be made, which took an unusually long time as they were sitting at the end of the bar at the bartender tried to feel five and six hours at a time, which in itself is not in common either... so I finally get the drinks and I noticed one has a cherry and one doesn't. No big deal, I like cherries, so I took the one with the Cherry and gave my wife the one without the cherry on top. mine tastes, great, hers. She begins to complain is so very bitter and strong, and she's like "taste this and how strong it is." So, I taste hers and it has a slight bitter bite, and much stronger than mine, so I mix our drinks together to dilute hers and about that time... My wife says to me,"I'm gonna move next to you and get closer..." so, I scooted her chair over next to me, she sits in the chair, we get very close, and as I'm going in for a nice fat tongue kiss, she becomes very pliable in her sitting posture and begins to slide in her chair toward the floor as she was telling me something's not right... long story short she said we both felt the need to exit, so I put her arm around my shoulder and supported the rest of her body with my hips, and began to walk her out of the restaurant... no one would've ever known to the extent she was beginning to become paralyzed as it was all sitting in as we were walking out of the restaurant and headed back across the street to our accommodations. We barely made it to the truck... I was praying she maintained some sort of ability to be able to keep her feet to some degree. And as she began to tell me more her mouth and bottom lip begin to slur her speech, began to become very slurred and by the grace of God, and by the time we got her to our bed in the condo she couldn't move anything on her body except her lips. She was completely paralyzed.. . She was completely incapacitated and all because I drink the drink with the cherry... so I can only guess or surmise that the plan was to incapacitate me so that someone could get their hands on her while I was incapacitated, had I drank the drink that had no cherry on top! What a ride!

They offer a limited number of draught beers, a decent size cocktail list, and, canned alcoholic beverages. What better way to keep cool by the pool than with frozen drinks. Most of the frozen drinks can be made non alcoholic. My favorite was the piña colada. I added an additional rum float for a few extra dollars. I tried the margarita and it could stand to have a lot more lime and a little salt. The strawberry daiquiri was also another favorite. They offer a well rounded food menu. The appetizer menu offered standard fare. Including wings and nachos. Need a little more sustenance? I recommend one of the burgers or sandwiches. Feeling like something a little bit light? I recommend one of the rice bowls. Served with rice and protein served southwest, elote, or stir fry. We went with the hotdog. I was excited about the lobster roll bun it's served it. The bun was perfectly crisp and the hot dog well grilled and tasty. The chicken tenders were just ok, a little on the dry side for my taste. But the fries made up for chicken. They were cut like chips. They were perfectly crisp and very well seasoned. The restaurant is covered outdoor with seating over looking the Gulf. The vibe is casual and no shoes no shirt is completely ok. The bartenders are friendly fast and efficient.
