    Maine Roll
    Jess B.

Everything from Mystic Subs and Lobster Rolls was everything I expected, delicious and fresh. Ordered over the phone for takeout and went to pick up, inside it's kind of small so you can't really eat inside there maybe after Covid they will add tables. Ordered two rolls and the lobster mac & cheese and lobster bisque. The mac & cheese was so creamy and delicious and there was so much lobster. The Maine roll was fresh and filled with lobster. The surf and turf roll was very tender and filling. The bisque was creamy and worth the price. Can't wait to come back.

Great lobster roll and lobster bisque! Super sweet owner that made sure we got everything we needed

    Mac and cheese

Disappointed. Pictures speak for themselves. Small portions, no lobster pieces in lobster bisque, watery mac n cheese, over cooked filet, store bought yucky coleslaw. People were very nice though.

Wow!! The lobster is fresh and delicious!! The subs are loaded with good cold cuts! Everything is excellent!! It's a must try!!

There's also a huge free parking lot right outside. Our waitress, Liz, was kind, attentive, and clearly very experienced. The restaurant is BYOB, though they do sell a few bottles for around $35. Just note that wine options are limited--they only had Chardonnay as their white wine option. The complimentary tuna salad was so good that we bought a container from the market to take home. We each had a cup of clam chowder, shared the miso scallop sushi, and ordered the sesame-crusted bluefin tuna special. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The highlight for me was the key lime pie--one of the best I've ever had. We loved everything and can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

So great start. The trouble started with the main course- Cod fish and chips. What I got was what looked like a plate of greasy over cooked shoe string fries. Where's the cod? Surprise, the cod is on the right side of the plate and looked sadder than the fries. The 4 pieces of cod were slightly smaller than my average skinny man fingers. In search of more cod I lifted fries thinking maybe it was buried in the potato avalanche. Alas the cod I saw was all I got. But that's not all. The cod had the consistency of poorly cooked calamari. Thank goodness for Kohrs. Your seafood $$ are better spent at better establishments.

The lobster Mac & cheese is terrific. The lobster nachos to die for. The pesto pasta is a great addition. If you're fortunate to catch an early bird you are in luck!! There is a to go area, bathroom, and then indoor seating area. They have merchandise behind the register. Started with the tuna nachos and crab rangoon mozzarella sticks. Tuna was good quality and had a good coating of sesame seeds. My perfect bite was tuna, orange sauce, seaweed, tomato, & onion. The chips were perfectly crispy. The crab rangoon was surprisingly good. This appetizer is what made me pick this place. Such a good combination. Didn't need the marinera sauce. Next up soups. Lobster bisque was ok. I guess I was expecting it to be a little more rich. But it was good, it tasted exactly like lobster and I got good chunks in the soup too. Now the shrimp and corn chowder was super flavorful. Favorite dish of the meal. For mains, cold lobster roll and two tails w butter and side salad. Side salad was well dressed and I appreciate the ribbons of Parmesan. The lobster was mostly cooked right. There was one that was a bit chewy. Added salt and butter but felt like something was missing still. I couldn't find a good combo of toppings to go with the lobster. The cold lobster roll was alright. The potato bread added a good sweet flavor that complimented the lobster. Overall a decent meal.
