This place has some seriously amazing and fresh seafood! My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Ft. Lauderdale and so glad we did. First I ordered the Scottish Salmon on a bed of spring mix lettuce. I must say it was the best salmon I've ever eaten in my life! It was just very different from the sockeye salmon I usually eat. My husband had the blackened grouper sandwich with fries. He was so impressed with how fresh it was as well, and the fries were excellent as well. Everything was so good, that I went back in after we finished and bought another pound of the salmon to bring home! I also purchased the crab cakes that were incredible as well. The only thing I can say is that I wish I lived closer and it would have been nice if they had tables. The only tables they have are outside on the sidewalk facing the parking lot, but it didn't seem to keep many people away. They seemed to have done a lot of takeout as well, and I can tell you that even though we didn't have them, the lobster rolls looked off the charts good! So glad we found this gem. We were heading north and got off 75 to go to pdq, which we like. Wife found this on Apple Maps so we decided to try it instead. Great decision! The food was great. Lobster rolls with over a quarter pound of lobster, poached in butter and a splash of lemon. They were delicious. We also had crab cakes and shrimp egg rolls, grilled mahi sandwich and a grouper basket. Everything was delicious. We sat outside and ate. Exceptionally good New England clam chowder, excellent lobster roll, perfectly pan-seared grouper, excellent service, fair prices. Unfortunately, when we visited they were out of clams, so that was a disappointment. We sat outside and although it's in a retail strip facing a large parking lot, on a Sunday it was quiet (the lot was pretty full, mainly for the Goodwill store adjacent). We both got a Connecticut style lobster roll- this was my first time ever trying a lobster roll and I LOVED it! Delicious, mouthwatering lobster rolls is what we came here for and they delivered. They have quite the selection of fresh seafood too. It's a smalI little store with outdoor seating only. We ordered two lobster rolls and lobster bisque to go. It looked so good that the 5 minute drive home seemed to long to wait to try our food. My lobster roll was perfect from the toasted bread to the big chunks of fresh lobster. The lobster bisque had just enough bits of lobster at the bottom and we finished every last drop. I want to like this place, really, but after today I am not going back. We ordered $100 worth of food to go. We received 3 out of our 5 sides. The potato salad is very eggy (just a personal preference, but I hate that). They were out of macaroni salad and coconut pie. The side of coleslaw you get is like a tablespoons worth. If you don't want coleslaw, there's a $3 upcharge. Fine. I can deal with most of that. It's crazy muggy and smelly in the restaurant. They don't have restrooms for customers and "recommend" that you go to the Goodwill next door for that. The desserts are 100% Edward's frozen pies that you can get at Walmart for $6 a pie. I know because my mother-in-law tries to feed them to me regularly. If you don't want to carry quality desserts, just DON'T HAVE THEM THEN. Are the lobster rolls good? Yes. The food stole the show best lobster roll I've ever had, full of meat, very tasty and delicious. When you finish you wish you had ordered the jumbo version.
