Food was sooo good as well as the drinks! Very reasonably priced too! Will be back! Service was awesome too and it wasn't too crowded.

Roasted Pork Sdw with Basket of Fries

We decided to head out for a bite to eat on Tuesday night. We opted to try a friend suggestion for a local establishment that turned out to be a really good decision. The server, Natale, was extremely nice and helpful with suggestions. We started out getting cocktails which were fantastic. We orders the blueberry lemon drop and apple pie martinis. Both were awesome in their own right. The blueberry lemon drop was more on the sweet side where as the apple pie tasted like an apple pie and made me feel part of the fall season coming upon us. We then ordered the crab filled quesadilla and the roast pork sandwich with au jus and fries. Each were delicious. The pork was done in house and the crab quesadilla was beyond tasty. This was enough to fill us for the evening. We will be back to try other tasty items on the menu. Please give this place a try if looking for a great low key place with wonderful indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your own conversation with great service along with food & drinks.

Great local bar, very appropriate name, a several notches above dive bars.. that I normally love to frequent and review. Great tap beer selection.. domestic and popular Europeans. Wings are delicious it Mild is not mild ... hot. Burger is superior but roll was rather cold . Live band was great ONEHOTMESSNJ. Lots to like about this local bar and grill... cost, service and variety.. definitely recommend.

$12 for 10 wings and a pitcher on Fridays. Great wings

This place was great. The service, the live band, the beer, and the wings. Oh yeah the Wings. They were so good, but honestly the chicken cutlet sandwich was better. Chicken was crunchy and cooked perfect, the sauce, the cheese, the roasted red peppers. But the star was the bread. Nice and fluffy on the inside and crisp and crunchy on the outside. The new owners of this place know what they are doing, as they are the same owners as Giumarello's Restaurant & G Bar. I wish they were closer to my house. Great place

Our waitress was very friendly and ended up leaving a pitcher of water once she saw we were parched. The salad bar wasn't huge, but there were some cold dishes along with salad fixings, which is part of the vintage charm. The bread (not complementary) was also a huge round loaf great for sharing. The decor's medieval vibe is very charming and it's nice looking around the room. The kitchen is open to the dining room with big brick ovens. I had the prime rib which was big and juicy (the baked potato was fine but the Yorkshire puff was bland and barely editable soaked in juice - may just be I don't like this food). The steak came with a giant onion ring which was delightful, and it was cooked perfectly tender. This place thrives in your meat and potato staples, so not a lot of side options except what's at the salad bar. For dessert, we had to try the peach melba delight, which was a giant goblet of vanilla ice cream, peaches in juice, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Deceptively simple but extremely tasty and great to share There's a large bar area and the bathrooms are nice. This place is great for larger groups that include older people. The food is good and the atmosphere did feel like it was from another time, but we had a good time, and it's nice to see a place like this still around.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

The food here is delicious. There are a ton of options to choose from, and everything is made fresh and served hot (I mean, unless it's supposed to be served cold, like a salad - you know what I mean people!). They have daily specials and you may need to sit down for this one: they honor their specials for take-out. What? Yes, that is correct. Monday: wing night Tuesday: tacos Wednesday: cheesesteaks Thursday: burgers Try them all and see what you like! Over the past decade, I've gotten to know the bartenders a little bit and I appreciate them because they serve good drinks and are friendly. They are also prompt! When they have a moment, they take the time to chat a little with me and I like that. The pub itself is cozy. The lighting is always appropriate for what's going on and there are plenty of TVs around, displaying the local sports teams. Sometimes there is live entertainment, too. You can sit and eat at the bar but there are also booths, tables, and high-tops to choose from. I uploaded some menu photos because this site did not have any. Go check out Kavanagh's Irish Pub & Grille - I know you will love it!

As a vegetarian, I can't recommend their seitan cheese steak highly enough - it was savory comfort food wrapped in a perfectly balanced amount of delicate hoagie bun.
