I ate some of my potatoes, picked off my husband's plate, and never mentioned anything to our server because there was nothing wrong with the food--it simply wasn't my personal taste. We paid our bill and were getting ready to leave. That's when Nicole, who appeared to be a manager, stopped by our table. She noticed that I had barely touched my meal and asked if I needed a box. When I told her no, she didn't just walk away. She genuinely asked if there was a reason I hadn't eaten much of my food. I explained that I simply wasn't a huge fan of what I ordered but didn't want to make a big deal about it. Nicole asked my husband and me to give her one minute and returned with a gift card for a future visit. We were completely blown away. I never complained. I never asked for my meal to be removed from the bill. I never asked for anything at all. She simply noticed. And that is what exceptional hospitality looks like. It wasn't the gift card that impressed us most--it was the fact that Nicole was paying enough attention to notice that a guest hadn't enjoyed their meal and cared enough to do something about it without ever being asked. The Mango Sticky Rice Latte is hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had. It's creamy, rich, perfectly sweet, and actually tastes like mango sticky rice in drink form. My favorite part is when the drink is gone I get to scoop sticky rice and mango pieces out to snack on. I honestly can't stop thinking about it and would drink one every single day if I could! The Sunset Americano surprised me too. I wasn't sure how orange juice and espresso would work together, but it was incredibly refreshing. The citrus brightens the espresso without overpowering it, making it the perfect breakfast drink. On top of the amazing drinks, the customer service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and the drinks were made with care. The quality you get for the price is excellent. The Ube Matcha had real ube and taro flavor. Ube is generally very strong so the matcha essence was weaker but surprisingly not completely overpowered. I think next time I'd get a lighter flavor to be able to fully appreciate the matcha quality. Also, this one wasn't sweet at all; I was fine with that but also would have been fine with a bit more sweetness. The boba itself was well-made and nicely chewy. Service was fast and friendly; ambiance is spacious with tons of seating and natural light. Today, we sat and watched the staff walk by us a couple of times without saying a single word. Now, we can see that they are busy, but to not acknowledge us is unacceptable. If you would have said, " good morning, I will be with your folks" OR any kind of communication to us would have been nice. I then flagged down the hostess( Aiyana) WHO WAS REALLY SWEET AND HELPFUL, to see whose section we were in. She apologized and went to let the young lady know to stop by our table. The hostess is the one who then brought us water. Eventually, the waitress finally made it our table with a greeting that was more mechanical/robotic , than caring.
