The appliances here can get that high $600 but their cheaper ones run ~$200. I understand that most of these are refurbished but washers and dryers are simple machines. They last for a very long time unless you put rocks in them. There was a 6mo warranty for labor and parts. Come here for washer, dryer, or refrigerator. My life advice: Don't get any washer/dryer that has digital displays. The more buttons/features there are on a machine the more likely it will break. Top load washers also don't leak. Get the cheapest dryer you need. They only do three things; push air, heat, and spin. Actually, don't buy a dryer and just hang your clothes. Dryers destroy your clothes. I'm digressing too far from this review. For 3 mi away, it was a $50 delivery charge and a $15 charge to get rid of our broken dryer. The $15 fee was worth it especially since it was upstairs. I don't know how to fix a heating element on a dryer nor did I want to bother learning how to fix it. I'm pretty positive these people will probably just fix it and resell it. There is nothing wrong with that. Their delivery window was from 10 am to 2 pm. They showed up right at 2 pm. That was my only complaint. Would I come here again? Yea. I'll come back in about decade when my next large appliance breaks.

My husband paid for our item and informed the employee, who identified himself as a manager, that we will return on Monday to pick it up. Monday, our transportation fell through, and we immediately contacted the store to inform them. We requested to cancel our order and for a full refund. We were told by Candice, who also identified herself as a manager, that she could not process our refund because the company switched POS systems and any transactions from the day prior were forever lost. We showed Candice our receipt and the card we used to pay. Candice informed us that she would have to contact corporate on our behalf and that corporate would have to mail us a check. When we asked when she would contact corporate and if we could be CC'd on the email Candice responded, "I will do it when I feel like it." In the name of due diligence, we contacted numerous other local stores who informed us that the refund policy for this company allows refunds at anytime before pick up/delivery, so long as the customer has the receipt and the card used for payment, if there was one. When my husband confronted Candice about this policy, she demanded my husband leave the store and threatened to call law enforcement if he did not abide by her demands. I don't know if I can go so far as to say the chain, in and of itself, is horrible. I will say this location has the worst customer service I have ever seen.

We opted to visit Appliances To Go and we found a fairly new Maytag top loading washer for half the price of a new one. We have had delivery problems from the third party companies that Lowes, Home Depot, and Best Buy use. The delivery from Appliances To Go was excellent. Our appliance was tested to show it works. We had totally the opposite experience that we saw in negative posted reviews. My only suggestions to potential customers is to use your phone to research the model numbers of what they have in stock so you can make an educated purchase.

We bought a washer and dryer with the one year warranty. These are open box appliances with some…read morecosmetic damages. The sales guy assures us that these machines have never been used. That is not the truth! Serviceman told us parts were replaced so it looks like it has been used! Well, the washer started to leak the 2nd week we started using it. The leak was so bad it went down through the ceiling above the garage, causing expensive repairs. I started using only Speed Wash mode and that seemed to do the trick but this mode does not give you clean laundry! The service man came (we had to pay $125 for the assessment and the warranty company has to approve it before the repairs can be done) PLUS, we have to pay $100 for them to open a claim. It turned out the leak is caused by disconnected parts! Apparently, someone tried to repair this machine and didn't connect the parts! He told me this machine was used! We now have to pay: 1. Repairs for the ceiling - pricey 2. $100 to open the claim 3. $125 for the assessment report to submit to warranty company (which is a JOKE) for approval BEFORE my machine gets repaired. As of now, I cannot use my machine while waiting for the insurance company to approve. Do yourself a favor, get a new machine with a real warranty coverage, not the 3rd party trap.
