Always the best. Believe the hype, you are guaranteed a good meal. Great service, clean tables. You must try.

Local Goat is comparable in size and popularity to Old Mill just down the road both are local favorites that stay busy. Unfortunately didn't live up to the hype. We called hours ahead for a party of 10 since our friends were meeting us from Atlanta while we were visiting from Tampa. We were repeatedly told we couldn't sit together, yet when we arrived, all 10 of us fit comfortably in the booth they claimed would only seat 6. The wait was about 45 minutes, and after ordering, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. The entire meal lasted about 2 1/2 hours, causing us to miss our pre-purchased sunset excursion. As for the food, nothing really stood out. My son ordered the filet mignon and couldn't even finish it he said it "sucked" , and we ended up getting Chipotle afterward because he was still hungry. I had the wicked past with shrimp, which I'd give 3 stars if you enjoy spicy food, but it became too spicy for me after a few bites. The fried deviled eggs weren't anything special they still tasted like hard-boiled eggs with bacon and a little Sriracha. The burgers had a nice grilled flavor, but I'm not much of a burger person, so I'll let others judge those. The highlight for me was browsing the gift shop and picking up some goat milk lotion. I'd recommend coming for lunch or with a reservation. Otherwise, the long wait crowded parking lot and average food just weren't worth it.

Decided to stop here for food. My goodness the food here is amazing. The staff was super friendly & the service was quick. I got the bison meatloaf and it was very flavorful. I got the lunch special portion and it was still enough to have leftovers for later. My husband got the Fettuccine Rocco. He said between the actual meal and the bread that is served with it he wished he had more to eat later since it was so good. Its a bit darker inside the restaurant. We also went on a cloudy ish day though. So that may of been why. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you are look for some quality eats.

My husband and I went here twice during our vacation. He has a strict dairy allergy, so we appreciated how accommodating they were. Everything is made from scratch and they let us know what could be and couldn't be dairy free. The food taste great too! We tried two burgers and wings, all were delicious and filling. Service and Atmosphere was nice, overall, as well. Our first server was mostly attentive but did seem to forget our waters for awhile. However, that's the only complaint we had. One thing to note is that the parking lot is steep and tight, but we didn't have any issues finding a spot.

Local Goat was amazing! It's a busy spot so plan accordingly. Had their burger with port jack cheese and jalapaeños , with fries, ranch and ketchup. Burger was delicious!! Service was prompted even though it was busy. Staff was friendly, definitely a will boost again spot!

If you're looking for a nice spot to enjoy a very unique and great meal, please try local goat. I had the lamb burger with tzatziki and a side of sautéed spinach. The burger was amazing. The lamb was a flavor bomb in the tzatziki cream sauce was the perfect fitting for the lamb. The bun was toasted and soft. It was the perfect combination of a burger. This place has some very good variety of burgers from beef to lamb to even bison. The ambience in this place is very nice. It's a good place for a group or just for a date night. The customer service was really nice. We had an amazing server who was able to assist with us making choices on what was recommended to eat. I would definitely try them again if I come back to town.

OMG! My wife and I both ordered the smoke house burger, mine with fries and hers came with mashed sweet potato. We both finished our huge plates, barely! These burgers took us on a trip to flavor town and the sides were also very good! I ordered an IPA with mine that also hit the spot. They have several locally made beers. This place is fantastic! My wife ordered crème brûlée and loved it. They also had a gluten free menu she appreciated.

I love that this is a scratch kitchen and 99% of their items are made from scratch. I ordered the bison burger and it was delicious. My server was great and I had a great experience. I will say it was loud, which was fine for me but may not be ideal for others.

Wow--where do I even begin? The Local Goat came up as one of the best restaurants in Pigeon Forge, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We were looking for something delicious but also with a fun atmosphere, and this place delivered on both. Our waiter was super friendly and helped us decide on drinks, appetizers, and entrées. We started with the deviled eggs, cheese fondue, and whiskey chicken wings. For our main dishes, we ordered the lamb burger and the BGT burger. I had never tried a tzatziki-style burger before, and wow--it was completely unique and so delicious. Every bite was incredible. My husband and I are huge foodies, and we were visiting from Miami on our honeymoon. We both absolutely loved everything and will definitely be back the next time we're in Pigeon Forge. What really stood out is that so much of the food and sauces are made fresh and locally each day--you can truly taste the difference. Highly recommend!

Make sure when you're in Tennessee you go to this restaurant. The wait time was 10-15 during dinner hours for a group of 4. Very spacious restaurant and very clean. Waitresses were very knowledgeable about the menu and provided honest recommendations. We sat across from a big bridal party but we still received timely service. Highly recommended the menu had plenty of choices between hand held to pasta and etc.

Local Goat was honestly such a great find while we were in town. It was pretty busy when we got there, but we were seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The place itself was clean and had a really good vibe, and our server was super friendly and attentive. We started with the Bing Bang Boom shrimp, and wow! so good! The flavor was on point. The only thing I could've skipped was the wonton crisps on the side, but that's just personal preference. For my meal, I got the TN whiskey burger and... oh my goodness. That thing was HUGE and packed with flavor. Definitely one of those burgers you keep thinking about after the trip. The fries were great too, crispy and well-seasoned. Overall, easy 10/10. I'd honestly travel back to Tennessee just to eat here again.

Now our favorite. We went twice on our trip. My son didn't stop talking about their chicken tenders. First time we had burgers and they were so good second time my husband had their bison meatloaf which he said was good and I had their steak and their onion rings which were crispy and delicious. If you are looking for good burgers or fresh chicken fingers this is your go to. All fresh made including all their sauces.

    Yep!

I would call the restaurant during business hours and ask them.

Is the beef Grass Fed? If not, what local farm supplies the beef?

    Grass fed beef 100%!

    Is there a kids menu?

Yes and many more items from regular menu that will work for kids.

    Do they do take out?

Yes, they do. You will love it!!!!

Do you have TVs and are you showing the NCAA Basketball Final Monday night?

Plenty of TV's and they most definitely will show the basketball game. You can always request to change a tv station if no one else has an issue with it.

    Yes

    No...

Do you all have live music?

    No live music.

    Are there any pool tables?

No. This is just slightly upscale dining.

    Do they have karaoke?

    We do not.

    Do they take call aheads?

No they do not however they do take reservations. Please contact them for your dining needs.

Do you offer any Gluten Free options for Celiacs?

We surely do! Please check with our wait staff or manager on duty for more details.

We offer happy hour at the bar: $1 off draft beer and $1 off wine by glass daily from 3pm till 6pm.

We do make our kid burger buns without seeds.

Are there capacity restrictions and/or are they trying to keep tables spaced apart?

No, not really. They wore masks and required them when diners were up and about, but table spacing and capacity seemed fairly normal. It's a very open space with high ceilings, though, if that makes any difference to you.

Do they offer takeout/curbside pick up?

NO! I've tried to get carry out multiple times and they always tell me carry out is not available. The restaurant is not very COVID friendly-no carry out, no outdoor seating, indoor seating seems very crowded.

    No outdoor seating

    Do you have vegetarian options?

    Yes, a few.

So how do you rate this place???…read more This was, without question, the worst experience I've ever had at a Buffalo Wild Wings. My family and I were seated and waited for nearly 15 minutes without a single employee acknowledging us. No server came to introduce themselves, take a drink order, or even say, "We'll be right with you." Multiple employees walked past our table, looked in our direction, and kept going as if we weren't there. After waiting and realizing no one was going to serve us, we got up and left. We ended up spending our money somewhere else. I understand restaurants get busy, but basic customer service starts with acknowledging that your guests are there. Being completely ignored is unacceptable. If this is the level of service you can expect at this location, I can't recommend it. The food may be great, but we'll never know because the service never gave us the chance. That's a disappointing way to treat customers who simply came in expecting a meal and basic hospitality.

Potential customers walking out the door. Great Bottom Line (notes, not exactly) it's actually very scary if an empty dining area is on a 30 minute wait and tables are empty WT%*^, is actually going on in the kitchen. Seven hour drive and other Wyndham Resorts visitors will and should think twice about here when it's actually very convenient. This is my honest opinion while waiting along with family to be seated. In the event we stay I'll update my post. I am not feeling very optimistic at this point. Kudos to our waiter Shawn. He was as accommodating as he possibly could be with the team on the clock tonight. I dare not send anything back to the kitchen scared too. Wings & Burgers,

Sometimes the most frustrating restaurant experiences aren't the terrible ones…read more They're the ones that are so close to being really good. That's how I felt about Mama's Chicken Kitchen. I came in with high expectations. The restaurant has strong reviews, it's part of the Johnson Family of restaurants, and I've enjoyed several of their other establishments over the years. So I walked in expecting a meal that would have me planning a return visit before I even paid the check. What I got instead was one of the strangest cases of missing seasoning I've encountered in quite some time. Let's start with the positives. The people here are genuinely nice. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and seemed to care about providing a good experience. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and inviting. And the kitchen clearly knows how to cook food. The fried chicken was cooked beautifully. Crispy on the outside. Juicy on the inside. Exactly the texture you're hoping for when you order Southern fried chicken. The problem? The seasoning apparently called in sick. This chicken had all the flavor intensity of a weather report. No noticeable salt. No spice. No personality. It tasted like the chef had just completed community service at a nursing home and was legally prohibited from possessing a salt shaker. My piece of chicken was juicy and cooked properly. Unfortunately, my wife's chicken breast was noticeably dry, which didn't help matters. Then came the fried pickles. No seasoning. Chicken and dumplings. No seasoning. Coleslaw. Tasteless. At one point I started wondering if there had been some sort of building-wide seasoning shortage that nobody had told us about. The frustrating part is that none of the food was poorly cooked. Quite the opposite. The techniques were there. The textures were there. The execution was there. It just felt like someone got everything ready and forgot the final, critical step of making the food taste like something. This is a restaurant with good people, a pleasant atmosphere, and a kitchen that clearly knows how to cook. Now they just need to introduce their food to salt, pepper, and a few of their seasoning friends. Three stars. Because the potential is absolutely there. The flavor just never showed up for work.
