Wow!! Local Pie does not disappoint! I have been searching high and low for the best NY style pizza spot in Kendal and Local Pie is it!! My husband and I stopped by for lunch and we ordered half Native GOAT and half B.Boys and garlic knots. The pizza was super tasty, thin but not too thin and still crispy, I definitely say 10/10!! The garlic knots were out this world, I can confidently say they were the best garlic knots I've ever had. The restaurant is super casual, ambiance is chill, and the staff very friendly! Native G.O.A.T- $22.00 Bacon, goat cheese, arugula, crushed red pepper, honey drizzle We also ordered: OH Baby Salad LG: $10.95 Spinach was cold and crisp- cherry tomatoes were fresh- it had red onions and goat cheese... This is a hidden gem in Miami! I had seen a few of my friends posting about this place and they all recommended to try it, after reading a few reviews I took the jump and came for lunch with a friend. He had the half cheese half pepperoni & I had the Native which has bacon goat cheese arugula and honey drizzle & half Hawaiian. I'll start off by sayin the place is very casual and friendly and the cook & staff was very welcoming. The place is clean and you can see the cook prepping the dough and pizzas in front of you. After ordering we had to wait no more than 10-15 minutes and they were fresh and ready out the oven! The pepperonis are the roni cups which are my favorite for thin crust pizzas which tasted amazing and were perfectly crispy and cooked. The Native one I was skeptical thinking the goat cheese was going to be overpowering but boy was I wrong! It added a delicious unique taste followed by the crispy bacon and honey drizzle was an explosion of flavors! Loved it! The half Hawaiian was okay just average tasting with cubed pineapple pieces and ham. Not too bad but I prefer the pepperoni and the Native. Will definitely be returning again! read more

In a cute, quiet neighborhood. A great place to go with friends, chill, and eat pizza. Service was good, no complaints there. When I walked in the pizza maker was even talking to a couple eating pizza at the bar that seemed very wholesome. The cheese pie was nothing special, a little too greasy for my liking but definitely would have again. As a pizza connoisseur and as one of the three members of "The Pizza Bros" I can attest that it taste better every time, quality may stay the same but the pleasant memory imprinted onto the tastebuds is lifelong and with each pizza, each slice, each bite, it gets better. In all seriousness, the pizza is great, Eric, the owner is basically a one man army. An true entrepreneur, it's basically all him, when busy your order may take awhile, but I have no issue waiting. As Miami is full of small businesses, I appreciate the authenticity of this business. When working Monday through Friday, I'll get the cauliflower personal pizzas, it's a great lunch that won't be heavy and it'll let you be productive, during the weekend, I'm definitely getting the 18' pizza. There for sure other great pizza places, but how many of them can make you feel like a friend and not just another customer? I am so happy to have found this place because this will probably be my go-to pizza place from now on! We ordered on a Tuesday night and the pizza was ready in about 15-20 minutes. We got the soprano pizza which had some meatballs, ricotta, and red onion. Then the native GOAT which has goat cheese, bacon, honey, and some red peppers. They were both delicious pies and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The inside of the place is small, but has a nice style and very clean. Came here yesterday for lunch. My husband and his parents love pizza and we're excited because the pictures look great. Unfortunately things took a bad turn. First my father in law got his pizza it looked great but he only had two slices and when we asked him why he was eating much he said it didn't have much flavor and wasn't worth the calories. When we got our pizza the lady that works there put it on a slanted pizza holder and said it would be fine. We started to eat immediately my husband took his first bite and said wow this is greasy ( it had pepperoni ) but it was DRIPPING GREASE ! I took a bite and thought to myself yea no flavor in the sauce or cheese. We only had two slices of our huge pie. A few moments later the pizza slide off the slanted pizza holder and into the floor. The side of honey we had also fell down. We quickly started picking up and throwing it away ( we didn't care because we didn't like it anyway ) but this is where things got weird. The owner got up to help us but then he went to the back and didn't come out for a few minutes. By then my husband had picked up everything on his own including the honey. The owner came back out and just looked around and sat down. The entire pizza fell because of the slanted pizza holder. But anyways even if they offered something else we wouldn't taken it because we just wanted to leave. The staff came out after a bunch of people stepped all over the left over honey we couldn't clean and cleaned the floor. Owner seemed uninterested and said nothing to us. We then asked for a pizza box to go for my father in laws pizza he said he wanted to give it to a homeless, the lady comes out with a small box. We tell her we need a big box with the obvious big ass pizza we have infront of us, she goes back and gets a big box brings it out and barely stretches her hand to give it to my father in law (hes handicap and can barely move his left leg) finally she gives it to him (she had to take one more stretch) we end up leaving and just throwing away the entire pizza because the after taste in our mouth was just greasy and gross. The staff seems uninterested and the owner even less. Zero customer service. If you want good pizza try eleventh street (very flavorful) even finka has great dough and cheese. The moment you walk in to the inconspicuous corner pizza shop you feel right at home with how down to earth the owners are. The pizza and garlic knots were incredible and filled with flavor. My favorite slice was "Pretty Fly for a White Pie". They drizzled it with honey which gave it a sweet and salty contrast that had me salivating for more. This is my new favorite spot in Miami for pizza and I will be back for more.
