I can't believe that I live five minutes from Local Pie and have just now discovered it. Ordered their white pizza called pretty white for a white pie: caramelized onions, spinach, goat cheese, and Parmesan and it was soo delicious. Crunchy New York style crust, and soft gooey inside. Service was quick and friendly with very laid-back outdoor seating area. Also ordered the Porky: pepperoni, sausage, and bacon a little bit salty but also really good. Rounded it out with Greek salad, simple fresh and tasty. Some throwback tunes rounded out the vibe. Local fan here. read more

Costly mistake!! We are new to the area and needed a quick dinner for the fam. We only live 5 min from Local Pie so it seemed natural to order there. We ordered a medium regular cheese pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza. We arrived 20 min later since they told us that's how long it will take. Upon arrival the price shock left me stunned. 50.49$ for two medium pizzas ????!!? WTAF. And if at least they were good. But the pizzas were cold, over cooked, hard as a stone and when we tried to hit up a slice it was so overcooked that the cheese melted into pure oil. It was unbelievable unbeatable. I come from the north were pizza is done right but I'm not a pizza snob and the most we've paid for two mediums has been 36.00 max 40 for specialty pizzas. They were over priced and disgusting. Not to mention the buffalo chicken didn't even had any chicken. It had some shredded pieces that looked like they came out of a can!!! Don't eve waste your time. The least they could have done was to give me a discount or my money back. Absolutely will never go there again. Just walk away. read more

My fiancé and I went for the first time this weekend. The owner and staff were incredibly kind. The garlic knots were delicious. I had the cauliflower pizza with arugula, bacon, goat cheese and hot honey (the native G.O.A.T). My fiancé couldn't decide so he got half Sal's and half Porky. We both looked at each other after the first bite and did the "oh my god" thing with our eyes closed lol. Highly recommend this place! read more

The pizza is very unique but very heavy in flavor. I found it to be a bit too oily for my liking and the flavors are so pronounced the pepperoni made it a bit too salty in my experience. Don't get me wrong it's very good, however it's not the kind of pizza I could have too often. The most interesting part of this pizza is you can not put it into a category. It doesn't taste like anything quite like I've had before. It's def not NY style or any other region in general. It's just a good Miami pizza so don't compare it to anywhere else bro! read more

Alright, I feel kinda bad giving this place 3 stars because a buddy of mine brought me here and he loves it. I liked the vibe of this place, but that was pretty much it. I don't think the employees really care to much if you need things like silverware and napkins. The cook was making pizzas and waiting tables. Twice I saw a young lady stand at the front desk but she left to another restaurant both times. The pizza was ok. I personally didn't like the taste. We had two different ones (see photos). All in all it's not terrible, but just not for me. read more

I have to remove two stars this time. Not sure if any ingredients changed but the pizza I had last night was not good at all. Very disappointed in the taste as I almost felt like ingredients were not fresh and taste like a frozen pizza. Secondly, the woman at counter has no customer service skills. I thought by now she would be more finessed since she has been working there with her husband for quite some time now but apparently not yet. Why would customers sitting outside have to go inside the restaurant to get their own cheese, napkins, and utensils. Thanks for letting me know that you at least have them inside at the self serve station. SMH. I should have just ordered for pick up but wait, that apparently takes two hours. Huge let down. I hope things change because I love to support local. But, customer service please. That's why we tip. read more

Excellent pizza, low frills, and great value for your money. We had a half pepperoni and sausage/half cheese. All pies are 18" for ~$24-28 and can easily feed 2-4 people. High quality cheese, lots of garlic and oregano, firm crust, and they don't overdo it on the sauce. Clearly one of the best in Miami, and not just south Miami either. Highly recommend. read more

We ordered takeout from here to try a new place, and we were not disappointed! I ordered an 18" pepperoni pizza and a half dozen garlic rolls. On the way home, I of course had a garlic roll. It was so delicious! The roll was so perfectly cooked; crusty but tender, seasoned with fresh garlic and oil. I couldn't wait to get home to try the pizza. I thought, if the roll was that good, I can only guess the pizza would be amazing.. and it was. Crust was perfect and the pizza was very tasty. Next time I will bring my boys and eat in. The staff is very friendly and the place has a very chill atmosphere. I went to Local Pie on my lunch break, and it did not disappoint. I liked the garlic knots, and their lunchtime special is very fairly priced. I got one slice of cheese, one slice of pepperoni, three garlic knots, and a bottle of water for about 10 bucks. I'm a stickler about cheese quality, and I can tell the cheese and other ingredients they use are high-quality. Came here about a year ago thanks to a post by @YelpMiami on instagram and since then this place been on the back of my mind. Truly appreciated the fresh ingredients used. Fast forwarding to this 2020 visit ironically was inspired by seeing a National Pizza day advert on @YelpWestPalmBeach instagram! Hah. Although It showcased another place two days ago, Sunday, 9th, I had cemented in my mind to revisit Local Pie! Bah, I was already busy Sunday and Local Pie is closed Monday's, so had to make it back Tuesday 11th and re-live good flavors at this place and boy did I ever. Located in a tiny strip mall with an illuminated white sign "Pizza", Local Pie is a no frills kind of place with just the paper menu and chalk board items on the wall, and serves bottled water or Soda for sale. What they do excel at is friendly service, excellent pizza and garlic rolls. Mmmmm loved them rolls! This time around, I didnt re-order the rolls on account I was going to watch a movie later in the evening and wanted to thoroughly enjoy the pizza with my Niece and later maybe have popcorn (heh). After perusing the menu, I noticed a new item added that wasn't there the last time. Native Goat! Owner tells me it's one of the top sellers and after eating it I can see why! Also, they partnered with Hate Monday's Tavern to have the smoked chicken incorporated I into two Pizzas. ALAS, they were out of them this evening. I will be back real soon as I love Hate Monday's Chicken! Digressing a bit, the Native Goat hits the nail on the head with scrumptious flavors of savory bacon, creamy goat cheese melding addictively with drizzles of honey (local Florda Wildflower honey by @TheNativeGuy and you can buy small samples here). All this going on the palate with a kick of red pepper flakes. Everything is perfect including their hand tossed dough when cooked thin adds a slight crust crunch. Makes my eyebrows go ohhhyeahhh in a serious looking way. Ambience: Small, no frills as mentioned before but feels personal in a small kind of way with local patrons coming in and excitingly greeting the owners there, carrying on conversations. The playlist also chosen by them plays awesome Blues and Blues Rock gently playing in the background. Libations? Well although they do not sell alcohol here, they mentioned I can walk nextdoor to the Mexican place buy beer and bring it back. So we did and paid $5 for each beer. Service? Friendly as mentioned before and the pizza owner making and baking them pies checks up on each patron and freely engages in various conversation kind of like a bartender does. That's a good touch of service. Certainly hope this place succeeds for quite awhile! read more

Very good NY style pizza. It's a casual restaurant so do not expect a full service bar or not even desserts. It is just a place to grab your pizza and go. If you are in the area and want some very good pizza I do recommend them. Service is kind of slow and bit disorganized. read more

Restaurant was very nice and cozy. When we walked in the owners immediately welcomed us and they were very attentive throughout. The garlic rolls were great and they add a lot of butter and garlic so you have enough to dip. As for the pizza, it is very big. Definitely a great value for the price. We got half porkys and half goodfellas. Both sides tasted great but porkys was ultimately our favorite. The sausage used was very tasty. Goodfellas was a bit too simple for me. The garlic/parmesan flavor wasn't strong enough for my liking. However, I dipped the pizza in the garlic roll butter and it was a good combo. In Miami it's easy to find good toppings, the real test comes in the dough. Their crust was very good. It had a nice crisp to it, with just enough fluff. I also liked that the crust wasn't too big, sometimes you get filled with more crust than the rest of the pizza. read more

We learned about Local Pie after seeing Mr Eats 305 reel. Shout out George. What a better cheat day than Super Bowl Sunday right? Staff was very nice and explained their unexpected Super Bowl rush and suggested a safer time to place our order. We did just that, had time to grab last minute stuff at the grocery store and returned just in time to pick up our order. Order was perfect and as ordered. Again, staff was just as nice at pick up time and although they seemed to be in the weeds, they made time to smile and grab us our order, thank us for our business and wave to us.
