The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is great, the owner is on site on most days, the beer is cold and always rotating, and it's a LOCAL ESTABLISHMENT! We've tried the salad (Best of Denton County 2021), the chicken sandwich, the tater tots, the falafel, the smoked hummus, and many, many beers. Stop pissing your money away by going to chain restaurants and give Local Pint in Flower Mound a try. It truly is awesome and the staff/owner are the best. And if you don't like it, great! This is a really good casual burger and beer place. Large selection of beers both local (Texas) and international. Good beer descriptions with samples easily given to help you decide which beer is best for your meal. I had the BOJ burger - it was a great burger with a great bun - thick burger cooked perfectly with a bacon jam relish to add just the right amount of sweet and salty. My table mate had the chicken in the biscuit and I had nibble of that too. Spicy and sweet relish and a great fried chicken breast between a great biscuit. This will become one of our local haunts. Get there early - we showed up right at opening time on a Saturday and 30 minutes later the place was 3/4 full. Highly recommend this place - prices were reasonable too. read more

Local spot without the pretension. Staff is friendly and attentive. Feel is warm and welcoming. It's a beer bar at its core. The beer selection is stronger than most. Yeah, they don't offer happy hour pricing. But believe me, the all day $5-6 pints and consistently marked pricing is well received. We were recently charged $8 for a "happy hour" (standard) IPA at Tavern Lakeside thanks to their preference for unlisted pricing. Not at Local Pint! Another plus is that Local Pint regularly updates its beer menu online, so you can scout the prospects prior to trekking on over. While limited in scope, the food is surprisingly satisfying. Lots of changing variety in the beer taps, and a great staff that knows your preferences is greatly needed and appreciated in FM. You can walk in this place and they know you by name and can recommend beers they know you will like. Also a a good wine selection in case you bring a non beer drinker. Wings, chicken strips, burgers and apps are on point and very well thought out. The prices are also very reasonable. We stopped in to watch a hockey game on Sunday afternoon and Cori and Alyssa were so welcoming. They let us taste multiple of their huge draft beer list until we found what we wanted and put the game on we wanted. The food was AMAZING. We had wings, the chili burger, the chicken sandwich and the waffle fries. The chefs blew it out of the water. Philly and Anna are the owners, the staff they have are amazing. We love this spot. Found it a few weeks ago and it's our new Thursday night regular hang. The stout is very good and the food has been excellent. Phillip has quite the place here and is very engaged in the experience at his place. He cares a great deal about his business craft and it shows. The servers have all been great too. Corey is especially fantastic! She is always customer service oriented with a bright smile. My husband and I love this place. We live 4 blocks away and have been loyal customers for the past few years. It usually feels like a home away from home... until last night. Make for sure your 13 year old child walks in with a mask. The sign on the front "recommends" masks. My husband and I wore our masks. After we sat down a dark haired waitress angrily walked to our table and slapped a mask down in front of my 13 year old daughter and lectured her. She said you must wear this if you leave this table. I had the House Burger which was just ok but my boyfriend had the BOJ and he said it was phenomenal (which he rarely says). He said the Bacon Jam was the best he's had. So I hear the menu changes often here. Both times I've been here I've gotten the wings and they are good. I like more pale ales and they have one they always keep. I forgot the name. The wedge salad is also very good. The first time I came I saw a couple with children so the next time we came we brought our 10 year old and almost 2 year old and some friends. Well they don't have high chairs. I guess I get it. It's not our local Applebee's. I don't eat at Applebee's for the record. I do think making it a little more family friend can draw even more people since this location is dead smack in the middle of the suburbs which isn't where you move into to live your best single life. read more
