The food is phenomenal but I stopped by at 4:50 and found out it was cash only told the one employee I would be back for a hungryman meal. So i love this place. The brisket is amazing. I havent actually had any entree i didnt love from there. They should be 5* and the four reasons that i give them 4* is this. Frist, the rolls i wish they would change. For having such great food the rolls stink. Second, they run out of stuff alot of times, because its so good if you want a late lunch alot of times some stuff will be sold out. Third, they changed there fries. That made me sad because i thought they had some of the best fries around. For some reason they changed them. The new fries arent bad but the old ones are way better. Lastly, i wish they were open on monday, or sunday, or both would be best. All in all i would still give 4 and a half stars if i could. read more

Great BBQ and really tender. I had half rack of ribs and mac & cheese, the ribs tasted great and were fall off the bone, where the mac & cheese was quite standard. It was ok. I'm from Memphis/Nashville so it's going to be hard to beat that BBQ. Need to step up their side game. I love fresh homemade southern sides and was excited to try these. But was pretty disappointed. Coleslaw was a little dry and creamed corn was way to liquidy. The ribs and brisket were pretty good though. I'll probably give them one more chance. read more

Very dissatisfied with food especially for the price. Pretty pricey for quality of BBQ. They tried but just not there yet since I know their pretty new. My half rack was dry and pork butt also. I think a little tweak in the heat and smoking time they might me the mark for standard BBQ. Hush puppies were no done middle was pasty since not cook all the way threw. This place is da bomb. Located on a stretch I drove by all the time, we stopped in for lunch and the brisket Sammie was terrific. We upgraded the soda it came with to their house iced tea which came in a quart tub!! Definitely upgrade for $1, since you get the equivalent of 3-4 glasses!! Definitely returning and bringing friends. Seating is tight and nonexistent. Basically stools against a counter and picnic tables outside but on a nice day for lunch, it can't be beat. read more

I've only been here to grab breakfast sandwiches. The brisket, egg, and cheese sandwich is super tasty. There's some sort of chipotle spread on it, and they give you a delicious maple dipping sauce for it. It's a great change of pace from your average breakfast sandwich. This place was awesome when it first opened. Maybe owners or suppliers changed? Last week, I had the pulled pork sandwich. It was just okay. Cold bun. Meat was a little on the dry/stringy side. Well I don't judge BBQ cookoffs but being a man from Kansas City and Nebraska I've eaten a lot of BBQ - and this is some good F*ckin BBQ. Got ribs, pulled chicken sandwich with coleslaw in top, side of slaw, and hush puppies for lunch this afternoon and it was all awesome - even my wife who doesn't like BBQ liked it which means it must be something special. Stopped by for a quick lunch, grabbed a brisket sandwich which came with house made slaw and pickles. Brisket was smokey, juicy and delicious. I don't like slaw but the proprietor encouraged me to get it on the side and it too was delicious. A nice sweetness to balance the meat and their pickles which were incredible. As someone who eats a lot of pickles there's were a real treat. All that and a can of coke for $9. Great food prices right buy guys who love making delicious bbq! read more

We used Locale BBQ to cater a family gathering. They were very consultative when I placed the order and the food was DELICIOUS! Locale has the best ribs EVER! Very meaty, & they come dry rub, with your choice of several sauces. The vinegar sauce was awesome, but even just the dry rub was delicious. The pork belly sandwich was also very good. Highly recommend this place! read more

Very disappointed... I grew up in Alabama... So I'm used to a certain type of bbq I guess. I was craving some good ribs and pulled pork that wasn't from Famous Daves and close by my house. I found this place here and the reviews sounded good, food running out and pictures had me in the car before I could close the app. Usually you pull up to a bbq place and u smell smoke, see smoke or something that lets u know they are grilling/smoking some good meat. I noticed the smells once I entered. The prices were a bit steep, half rack and 1/2lb of pulled pork was about 25 bucks but I was willing to pay that for some long missed good bbq. Guy that took my order was cool and I told him he would see me every week if it's good... So I've never been back... The rub on the ribs was not a mesquite bbq flavor, tasted more like... I don't even know, but the seasonings didn't compliment the meat AT ALL IMO. It was a very unusual flavor, and the pulled pork was decent but the sauce was not good and I didn't have any on hand so I threw that out too. I tried to give the ribs to my dog, and he is very greedy and begs for crabs if he is outside with us while eatting and he smelled it and left it on the floor. I only took one bite and realized it wasn't for me, so he left a bone full of meat and never came back for it. Since this disappointing experience I found a place in Aston, Pa that has THE BEST RIBS, BRISKET, PULLED PORK,CHICKEN! BAKED BEANS WITH SO MUCH PULLED PORK IN THEM THEY ARE A MEAL ON THIER OWN!!! From north Wilmington I would say it's about 15-20 min drive.. Which I gladly take every time I get a craving.. This place is not real authentic bbq. No smoky flavor, no smoke ring on the rib. Flavors were off and the side of Cole slaw I did get they could've kept that too. I gave 2 stars just because I appreciate the new businesses popping up in Wilmington and the portions weren't that bad.. But my bama born, down south country bbq loving behind won't give them anymore of my money.... read more

Bland. Collards were gritty. Potatoes in potato salad were undercooked. Almost no smoke flavor in meat. Just skip this place.

We picked up takeout...the guys explained all the pulled pork, chicken and beef options...unbelievably fantastic ... the side sauces were delicious.. the hot sauce is inferno! The homemade pickles are unreal...I am so full!!! read more
