The homemade rosemary bread with a variety of spreads is a standout--don't skip it. Delicious. I'm a sucker for beets and burrata, and this salad did not disappoint. It's large enough to serve as a light but satisfying meal on its own. The Maine lobster ravioli was solid, though I wished for more creaminess in the sauce and more distinct chunks of lobster. The filling leaned more toward a lobster cream rather than pieces of lobster. The sea bass puttanesca was baked to perfection, and the sauce was flavorful. It would have been even better with a side of pasta to soak up the extra sauce, as there was quite a bit left. The basil Old Fashioneds were enjoyable, though I personally would have liked a touch more subtle sweetness. Free parking in a shopping center lot is a nice bonus. We had such an amazing experience at this local Italian spot! Everything we tried was delicious, from the honey ricotta spread, parm fries and Wagyu meatball to all of our entrées. My husband had the chicken piccata, I had the braised short rib, and my son enjoyed the pizza and kids' butter pasta. We all loved the Parmesan fries, and of course, we had to finish with the tiramisu--it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was another highlight. It had a cozy, intimate, darker vibe, and I really appreciated that there were no TVs in the main dining area. It made it feel much more relaxed and gave us a chance to actually enjoy our meal and time together as a family. A neighborhood Italian kitchen with a lot of potential. I walked in thinking it was my first visit, but the déjà vu hit hard and we'd actually been here years ago. It clearly wasn't memorable, because neither of us could recall a single dish we ordered. This time, our timing was really bad. We arrived on a Sat afternoon to find a massive wedding reception taking over about 80% of the place. The noise level was wild, women screaming like they were at a Chippendale's show. Honestly, it would've been better for everyone if they had closed down for the event instead of letting paying customers sit through the fiasco. We came specifically for their $19 two course lunch special, which is a solid deal in this depressing economy. The salads were great, fresh, flavorful, and dressed perfectly. My man enjoyed his spaghetti & wagyu meatball that was enormous, soft, and delicious. My fettuccine Alfredo was also promising, loaded with mushrooms and plenty of chicken, but the chicken was rubbery and inedible. It ruined the dish for me. As we were finishing, the wedding party started popping balloons and I nearly jumped out of my seat each time. Two of the three in our party were visiting Las Vegas from Calgary. I have been wanting to go to Locale for a while, so I made reservations for the three of us. It was a quiet night in the dining room. There was a good crowd in the bar area in the front for Happy Hour;. The three of us decided to order from their $55 summer prix fixe menu. I picked the Rosemary bread while both freinds ordered the Caesar salad. The bread was very good. It was too much to eat so it later went home with me. My friends enjoyed their salad which was very a good size. For our mains, I got the fettuccini Alfredo and they each got the chicken parmegiano. Again, large portions. With this menu, you also pick a side. Two of us got the roasted cauliflower and one got the roasted mushrooms. The protions were large. One friend didn't finish her chicken so it was boxed with some left over mushrooms along with my bread. I broiledd a piece of bread for toast the next morning and the rest I had for dinner with the boxed fettuccini and mushrooms For dessert, two of us got tiranisu and one got the triple choclate cake. All were good and these were finished. Service was ezxcellent. Our server was around when we needed him. Since I hadn't seen these friends for a few months, we spent a lot of time after dinner talking. I've yet to try the cocktails but so far we enjoyed the food. The pasta was good and the chicken piccata hittttt! And the Caesar salad tasted great with really good croutons. But I do have to say for the price of the chicken piccata I'd like to see another piece. That was the only thing that turned me off for $26. And for the cheesy bread I think I was expecting something a little more elevated to be honest. But I saw the calamari and their rosemary bread on another table and both looked great. Their Pomodoro sauce is excellent!!! I only gave 4 because if the goal is to be the "local" spot for Italian we need a better bang for the buck or maybe just a few dollars less of certain dishes. Had an amazing dinner at Locale. We were helped by Bernard who made sure we were well taken care of. The autumn prefix menu was introduced and my husband and I both decided to try it. We had the whipped ricotta, mozzarella bread, risotto, NY strip steak, carrots, mashed potatoes, tiramisu, and cheesecake. The risotto and cheesecake were standouts, though everything we tried was delicious. We also brought our own bottle of wine since we had seen mention online of a corkage policy. Pleasantly surprised to find that the corkage fee was $25. We felt like that was a perfect price point. I've had some repeat orders because they were just that good, but this time they had a 3 course Pre Fix menu which was a great deal! It was actually 4 courses! $55/person and totally worth it! There were a variety of options to Choose from in each of the courses. For our appetizers we had the oven baked Mozzarella Bread and the Caesar Salad, For our entrees we had the Braised Beef Short Rib and the Sea Bass Alla Putanesca. For the sides we had the Brussels Sprouts and the Roasted Mushrooms. And last but not least for the dessert, we had Classic Tiramisu and the NY Cheesecake with Amaretto Caramel. Every single dish was delicious. Yes I tried everything! Service was great as always in our previous visits. Bernard was our server and Benny the Manager came by to check and see how everything was with our food. All the dishes came out in a timely manner. There was a lounge area near the bar or the main dining area and we sat in the main dining area in which the ambiance was really relaxing and comfortable. Okay, Locale... it's been a while, but you never fail to impress! After two visits within two weeks, both on Sundays, I'm officially a regular. Our first visit was a Sunday evening at the bar, where my girl friend and I were lucky enough to be served by Benny. He is an absolute gem, friendly, fast, and makes some seriously delicious drinks. We ordered off the happy hour menu and left with full bellies and the perfect buzz. Couldn't ask for more. The second visit was for Sunday brunch, and wow. $1.50 oysters, $25 bottomless mimosas, and for just $8 more you can upgrade to bottomless Aperol Spritz? Yes, please. We brought a party of five out to the patio and had an amazing time. Our server Bernard was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the vibes were immaculate. Fabulous dinner tonight. Our waiter Bernard was personable and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and comfortable. I had the Berry Herby non-alcoholic cocktail. Really tasty, and glad I didn't taste too much of the basil in the drink. Both the Caesar and Iceberg Wedge salads were great. Crispy, and well-dressed without getting gloppy with too much dressing. My 10 oz ribeye (ordered medium rare) was tasty, but there were a couple for areas in it that were probably closer to rare. The Brussels sprouts were excellent. Crispy without a burnt taste. Love the lemon dressing on it. Others in my party enjoyed their Spaghetti and Meatball, the pepperoni pizza, the Pappardelle al Funghi, the beet and burrata salad, the Pappardelle Bolognese, and the Fettucine Alfredo. Of special note was the Fettucine Alfredo. Our diner asked for caramelized onions on her Alfredo. Her dish didn't seem to have much in the way of onion. So, Bernard got a dish of caramelized onion for her, and made her very happy. Great follow through on a customer's request. The tiramisu was excellent. Soft and tasty. Great job! read more

Came here for Sunday brunch for a friend's bday. Overall, I had a good experience, though the brunch menu felt a bit limited compared to what I expected. I think the menu changes every so often? That said, there were definitely some highlights. The $1.50 oysters were a great deal and super enjoyable--fresh & easy to keep ordering. I also really liked the calamari & the rosemary bread, which was warm, flavorful, & honestly one of the best parts of the meal. The bread came with 3 different spreads & they were all delicious! The only miss for me was the wagyu meatball sandwich. While the idea was great, it ended up being dry & it could've used more sauce to really bring it together. This is my second visit and I am happy with the brighter lighting. It was difficult for guests to read menus before. Good food, knowledgeable staff, and good service. The whipped ricotta cheese and bread was tasty and a must have. The calamari was tasty and missing the traditional lemon wedges but were unnecessary. We didn't like the panko fried seabass with kalmata olives as they threw the taste off for the dish. Pan fried with a lemon sauce would be fine. Rich and creamy on warm and toaster English muffins. 4/5 Steak and Eggs: According to the menu I'm getting "6oz NY strip", tomato Hollandaise, poached eggs, and breakfast potatoes. The steak was probably 6oz before cooking. It was much smaller on the plate. They did ask me how I wanted my eggs and I prefer scrambled eggs over poached eggs with my steak. Instead of the breakfast potatoes, I got Brussels sprouts instead. So, I appreciate the freedom to substitute things. 5/5 Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich: Sunny side eggs, bacon, mozzarella, maple seared sourdough, and breakfast potatoes. My friend is vegetarian so she can't eat bacon so we ordered it on the side so I can eat the bacon. My entree was the chicken piccata which was also very yummy. My husband ordered the gnocchi which was very chewy, dense, and gummy, but he said the short rib sauce was very tasty. I am giving this review a 3/5 based on the texture of the gnocchi and because my glass of wine was extremely overpriced. I had two glasses of house Sauvignon blanc which was $46! She made a great recommendation for a basil infused bourbon old-fashioned and I have to say I will be back for this drink yet again because she was incredibly engaging and knowledgeable and a wonderful ambassador of this brand I've yet to eat here, but I look forward to coming back again for probably a Sunday brunch action. Either too much sugar is added or it just has no flavor. Not here. The portion was perfect. The sauce divine and the pasta cooked al dente! Our order was to go and we only live 5-7 minutes away. I'll start by saying we received great service by our waiter. We started with caesar salad and calamari which were both good. 3 of our pasta dishes were very undercooked, not even close to al dente. The chicken parm was thick and overcooked, hard to chew. And the spaghetti marinara that came with it looked like it was either microwaved or sitting under a heat lamp for a while before served, very dried out. Our food took awhile to come out so maybe it was prepared first and had to be reheated?. The rigatoni alla vodka was drenched in a creamy tomato sauce which was so salty none of us could eat it. And again, the pasta was very undercooked (not al dente). Lobster ravioli 8/10, no complaints. Scampi pasta was dry and bland. A lot of left over food which we opted to not take home. Seeing that this place has some good reviews, I'm hoping it was just an off day for them. read more
