We dined here on a Friday night around 8pm. It wasn't super packed and we had a reservation set for 10 people. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately in the main dining area. They had some specials and regular offerings presented on the menu. We actually were all so hungry that we accidentally filled up on the bread prior to our main dishes. The breadsticks were nice and warm, had a tasty balsamic/olive oil dipping sauce (made in house), and we also opted for some appetizers to share--calamari, bruschetta, and a dish that had mushrooms and dates. Everything came out fairly quickly and was spaced out within the long table space. The bruschetta was nice and fresh and fully loaded, while the calamari was tender and flavorful. I usually stay away from calamari but their way of preparing it is more to my liking. The mushrooms and dates were just melted in your mouth. We asked for recommendations and ended up with an Italian Pinot Noir, as well as a Red Moscato d Asti for the birthday celebrant. A few of us also opted for the Il Chianti salad with a bit of fresh pepper. The dressing was a house made vinaigrette and the combination of greens, veggies, and walnuts made for a delicious combo! For our entrees, I opted for the Branzino with risotto, we also got Salmon Puttanesca, a side of mushrooms with garlic, Mediterranean Pasta, and also Cioppino. It all came out fairly quickly and these were extremely large portions. Needless to say, we all went home with to go boxes and bags. Since it was my aunt's birthday, the staff brought out a slice of tiramisu, sang happy birthday and had her blow out a little candle. It was a nice touch. The rest of us got the Chocolate Molten Lava cake and the Espresso Affogato. They both came out pretty quickly and were annihilated almost immediately. The bit of espresso was much appreciated since we all had to drive home on full stomachs. The staff was all so attentive and courteous. We almost never had any empty glasses during the entire dinner. I'll definitely be back in the future.

Incredible! Have been wanting to try this place for a while! I was interested to see how it looked inside from previously being Frank and Finas where we visited often. It looked similar but with clean fresh colors. The service was exceptional. We arrived for happy hour which is 10 percent off the total bill which is nice! The food- we both ordered the Caesar salads and they were delicious. The dressing was creamier with great flavor. My husband ordered the rib eye with asparagus and I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese. Wow! The quality and flavors were spot on. There's so much on the menu we wan to try, so we can't wait to come back.

I went back with my husband and he LOVED the spaghetti and meatballs. He always says if they can do a good sauce and meatballs, they have his vote. He was happy. I ordered the Mediterranean dish...OH MY...it was delicious! The service was excellent too and my "picky husband" said he wants to go back. Their bread is soooo delicious! I'm adding a a couple more pics.

I have since learned Il Chianti has been charging a 30% fee on the bill; Then suggests additional tipping; There have been many reviews that have stated the same 30% fee added to their bill; We had the same 30% charge happen on our visit; Unbeknownst to us we added a tip as well; Then thought it was "our" mistake; Now we realize what really happened; Just sad to do this to diners; Very disappointed in this business practice

Thursday house special trip. Carbonara, chicken and eggplant parm

My wife and I stumbled across this place by accident after our original dinner plans fell through, and I'm honestly glad they did because we found what might become our new neighborhood Italian spot. From the moment we walked through the door, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly, and even though I quickly realized I was probably a little underdressed for the atmosphere, nobody made us feel out of place. It was warm, inviting, and just felt like they were happy to have us there. Our waitress was fantastic. She walked us through the menu, explained the house specials, and even took the time to explain the difference between the charred calamari and the traditional fried version. We took her recommendation, and I'm so glad we did. The charred calamari was outstanding--something completely different from the usual, with an incredible sauce that tied it all together. They brought out fresh baked bread to start... and then surprised us with another basket of fresh bread later in the meal, which was a nice touch. For dinner, I ordered the Thursday house special, where they prepare carbonara in a giant cheese wheel, served alongside eggplant Parmesan and chicken Parmesan. It was every bit as good as it sounds. My wife had the spaghetti bolognese, and she loved it. Everything came out beautifully plated and tasted just as good as it looked. The owner even stopped by our table to check on us, which really added to the experience. You could tell everyone genuinely cared about making sure guests had a great time. Great food gets people in the door, but great hospitality is what keeps them coming back. This place delivered both. We're excited to have found such a great restaurant so close to home, and we'll definitely be back.

Roger was my server and he was fantastic!! I truly love this restaurant. I ordered the petite beet & goat cheese salad -delicious! I also ordered the Thursday special: cheese wheel pasta trio with 1/3 carbonara Della Nonna, 1/3 chicken Parmesan, 1/3 eggplant Parmesan!! Everything was perfection!! Restaurant is beautiful and clean. This is my favorite spot in Las Vegas!

Had a great experience at Il Chianti. Service was great the food was fresh, flavorful, The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich and authentic, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. If you're looking for solid Italian food and a relaxed dining experience, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll be coming back! Love this place

We visited on Friday, for lunch, with a party of two and it was a great experience. We arrived right at opening time and were seated right away. The dining area is a nice size and well decorated. The waiter stopped by and took drink orders. They don't have a full liquor license yet, so I opted for wine. We started with Arancini as an appetizer, it was a large portion and very tasty. From there we went with a Caesars Salad, Lobster Bisque, Pear & Cheese Tortelinni, and Cioppino. Everything was excellent, with the Bisque and Cioppino served piping hot. Portions were giant. The service was excellent, the waiter was friendly, prompt and professional. Another gentleman helped as well, he might have been the owner, very nice person. Overall, this was probably the best Italian restaurant we have ever visited in Vegas, and we've been here 20 years. OUTSTANDING place to dine.

We found Il Chanti on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it had just opened. We were able to get a last-minute reservation and were seated quickly. The head chef personally stopped by our table, which was a warm and friendly touch. Although the full bar wasn't set up yet, we ordered a bottle of Brunello that was excellent. For starters, we had the Caesar salad and lobster bisque. The Caesar was fine but nothing remarkable; however, the lobster bisque was outstanding--rich, flavorful, and a must-try. Fresh bread with oil and balsamic was served to the table, and it was fantastic. For mains, I had the eggplant parmigiana and my wife ordered the chicken cutlet. Both portions were generous, and the flavors were spot-on. For dessert, we shared an affogato--my first time trying it--and I loved it. We also sampled the tiramisu, which was equally well done. Overall, the experience was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. With the quality of the food and the welcoming service, we'll definitely be back again.

    Branzino Special
    Evette S.

I was first introduced to this restaurant when it was located at the Horizon Ridge space. It was so wonderful that I couldn't wait to bring my friends and family back. I was slightly disappointed that they moved to the Summerlin area. However, I'm happy that their new location will accommodate larger parties and more business. This particular visit we had a Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs, salmon, puttanesca, and the Branzino special. The staff was kind enough to substitute scallops for the shrimp topping as I have a shrimp allergy. The service here is warm, friendly and professional, and the staff have a really good sense of humor. The next time I return, I will probably have the Cioppino, without shrimp, which was delicious!

There are a lot of Italian restaurants in the area, but Chianti Italian stands out amongst the rest. This place is actually authentic in the cuisine and does not stray from what an Italian meal really is. The ambiance resembles the feeling of being in Italy with fun music and decorations. The service was top notch and I had no complaints at all. My favorite part is that this place has a Filipino chef and background. Highly recommend.

Very nice atmosphere, clean, large restaurant with good wine selection. Had lots of staff check in on us, including the chef/owner. Love the Filipino chef with an Italian flare. We had the carbonara and the prosciutto / mozzarella salad. Yum! The house bread is fantastic- warm, cheesy and dipped in balsamic vinaigrette was delicious. The drink- Coke is a tad pricey at 6 bucks, so better off with a glass of wine! I liked the carbonara as is, could add extra protein with chicken starting at 8 bucks. Lunch portion was good size on the carbonara. The prosciutto salad was also ample for sharing, but a tad sweet with the dressing. I'll have to come back and try the dinner size portions. Wish they had a 3 course lunch- smaller size for trying dessert and salad/soups.

Restaurant check with auto-added gratuity of 30%.

We ordered three dishes we had before that are knock-your-socks-off delicious. 1. The Misticanza Del Campo Salad $24 - easily one of the best tasting salads in all of Las Vegas. 2. La Mortazza $22 - High-quality mortadella is difficult to get where I live. The sandwich is incredible. I save ¾ of it to eat on my flight home 2 days later. So good! 3. Tagliata Di Manzo $72 - This steak is tastier than the rib eye at Triple George. The potatoes are crispy and delicious too. Tried the pizza for the first time. The Margherita $28 was very yum. The two pastas we tried sort of missed the mark because of the flavor and extra load of butter. The Linguine alla Vongole $44 had terrific pasta, very well made with great tasting clams. The overall flavor of the dish was just odd. We also got the Rigatoni Cabonara $35. I loved the pasta itself and the first couple of bites were heavenly. But the richness from the overload of butter started to hit hard and heavy. That's a lot of food for 2 people. Food The Summer in Italy menu was very impressive. You get a four-course meal with an appetizer, pasta dish, entree, and dessert. I was with a group of four people and we all went with it and mostly ordered something different so we can try everything. For my appetizer, I went with the Gamberi Marechiaro, which was a shrimp dish in a lemon butter white wine sauce. It was excellent. We also had the Calamari Fritti, Burrata, and Flori di Zucca Sorrento. Everything was excellent. A great start to the meal. For the pasta dish, I ordered the Gnocchi Pistachio Pesto, which was my favorite dish of the whole experience. Other dish ordered were Lobster Ravioli. For the entree, I went with the Osso Buco, which was very good. I was staring to get full by this point, but I was persevered. Other dishes ordered were Petite Filetto di Manzo and Vitello al Limone. For dessert, they brought us a slice of cheesecake for our birthday, which was excellent and we ordered Cannoli and Pistachio Passion to go. They have an incredible wine list, which can be overwhelming. We ordered two bottles of wine, which the names already escape me. I'm better at drinking it than remembering the names. 5/5 Service The service was definitely upscale. They have a bread guy that comes around (once) and offers you an option of bread. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My water cup was never empty either. 5/5 Ambiance Ferraro's has a very nice aesthetic to it. The wine cellar is impressive and encouraging.
