He came on time, and was $40 cheaper than the first guy that I called. (That was AFTER I made 3 Wackeys and replaced an entire doorknob!). Gary was extremely professional and helpful. He pointed out a problem with my security (I needed an extra deadbolt for a door) which I thought was very nice of him to mention. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

He was able to come by in 15-ish minutes and let me into my apartment. He worked quickly and we chatted a bit while he wrote me my receipt for his services. This is a small business owned by the locksmith and his wife. He was friendly and helpful and prompt. It was $130 for as little time as he was here, but It was 1 am and I was grateful for the help. I may have been a bit vulnerable at that hour, but for true 24-hour/i'm-in-crisis-mode, it was worth it. I will definitely call him (and refer) should I, or anyone else I know, ends up locked out!

He spent less than 10 minutes swiping something inside to release the inside latch - realistically we probably could have looked up how to do this on YouTube. He then told me the COST OF THE SERVICE IS $340. No itemized invoice, nothing. Guy just came up with the number on the spot and pulled out his credit card swiping machine. Literally an unbelievable scam. I can't believe I paid these guys this much to do what was essentially the credit card swipe on the door latch. The technician was kind and efficient but GOOD GOD, do not hire these people unless you want to just light your wallet on fire. On Saturday morning after walking my dog I tried to open the back door and the key got stuck in the…read morelock on the door handle. This was a problem since I could not use the key to open the deadbolt. I tried to lubricate the lock and jiggle the key to remove it but it would not budge. I contacted A Better Cheaper Locksmith and they responded to my request for assistance. The locksmith was able to get the key out and checked the locking mechanism. It was determined that the lock was bad and it needed to be replaced. This smart key lock was recently purchased at Home Depot. I would highly recommend using this locksmith. They were courteous and very helpful explaining the issues with the lock.
