Very competitive pricing, scheduled my appointment for the next day (on a Saturday), and I was able to get Wackeys (the funky colored keys, he had A LOT of different kinds) for cheaper than they charge at Home Depot. He came on time, and was $40 cheaper than the first guy that I called. (That was AFTER I made 3 Wackeys and replaced an entire doorknob!). Gary was extremely professional and helpful. He seemed genuine and honest on the phone, so I decided to go with his business to assist. I lost the keys to my 2013 Mazda 3, and Mark came to my car to make a new one from scratch. When he finished making my keys (I ordered a spare as well), I told him about my bad luck with keys lately and how I recently locked my keys in the trunk - and he gave me the key used to carve out the starter keys. This key would open my car if I accidentally locked my keys in, but would not start the car. He recommended I keep it in my purse in case that ever happened again. To call Mark a "Maestro of Key Making", is a definite understatement. My Honda Element key would no longer turn in the ignition and come to find out, the entire tumbler needed replacing. I called and within an hour, Mark came out and meticulously dismantled my ignition switch, built a new one, and now I am back on the road and rolling. The Honda dealership quoted me $700 for the job but Mark did the job for less than half of that. Now I have a brand new key, ignition switch, and I am HAPPY. He spent less than 10 minutes swiping something inside to release the inside latch - realistically we probably could have looked up how to do this on YouTube. He then told me the COST OF THE SERVICE IS $340. No itemized invoice, nothing. Guy just came up with the number on the spot and pulled out his credit card swiping machine. Literally an unbelievable scam. I can't believe I paid these guys this much to do what was essentially the credit card swipe on the door latch. The technician was kind and efficient but GOOD GOD, do not hire these people unless you want to just light your wallet on fire. UPDATE: I just called 3 other locksmiths in the area and was told this service costs $89 - $120. I'm currently filing a complaint with the BBB.
