When storage king bought the property just over a year and a half ago, they started implementing significant price increases, with less amenities. in the year and a half that they've owned the property, our price has increased 4 times to nearly $40/month more than what it was when we started renting. The security is not great. And it isn't uncommon to run in to renters who think they own the property, and take up an excessive amount of space when loading/unloading. Someone attempted to break in to my vehicle, and the cameras mysteriously stopped working during the exact time the break in was being attempted. We've gotten multiple calls to come check our vehicle after gates getting cut, and things being stolen from other vehicles. they've had a plan to expand the parking storage since before we began renting, but nothing has been started. However, they're sure to let the parking renters know that when it does start, they won't be able to offer any parking spaces during the construction time. so kicking out all the parking tenants during the period of time it's being built.

Horrifying Experience - Unlawful Malicious Sabotage and Retaliation…read more I have been a loyal, compliant tenant at this facility since November 2025 with a perfect rental and payment history. On Tuesday, July 7th, I went into the front office to discuss my balance due to temporary travel hardship. Both the property manager, Nita, and her assistant manager explicitly assured me my account would be perfectly fine as long as my payment and late fee were settled within 30 days, explicitly telling me "not to worry." Immediately after this agreement, I went to my unit (#052) during normal business hours to organize highly sensitive personal and legal documents. Because I was handling confidential paperwork and contacting emergency programs, I kept my unit door lowered for personal privacy. At least six hours later, Nita flipped into erratic, hostile behavior. She approached my unit shouting completely fabricated accusations that I was "living" in the storage unit simply because I was organizing my items during standard operating hours. I stepped into my unit for less than 15 minutes to finish a necessary phone call, and by the time I came out, Nita had abandoned the facility and left work early for the day, refusing to let me rationally resolve the misunderstanding. The facility then sent an immediate termination notice based on these false claims. When I contacted the Storage King USA Central Call Center to pay my full balance of $92.00, the central agent informed me that local management had completely DELETED my account profile from the master database to the point where I am entirely non-existent in their system. [1] They have covertly wiped my profile to intentionally block me from making a good-faith payment, locking me out while I am traveling out of state, and threatening me with "criminal loitering" for trying to pay my bill. This is a malicious, illegal self-help eviction and absolute sabotage. Do not trust this facility or Nita with your belongings. Corporate needs to intervene immediately, restore my deleted profile, and reinstate my lease. Please Note, my official 5 star at the beginning of my storage unit lease was deleted after facts. Time was not established to really see their true color.
