Went there for a wine event. Stayed at the Sunriver Lodge and decided to dine at the Lodge Restaurant. The decor was nicely done with natural wood. The staff was very prompt and courteous. Dani, our server and was very attentive and sweet. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Large portions and seasoned just right. We liked it so much we went back the next day for brunch before leaving for home. Delicious.

Loved this dinner experience we had at Sun River resort. If you're picking a nice sitdown dinner on the resort, I would recommend this over the Lakehouse by far in terms of the food. The views of the mountains and golf range were a beautiful backdrop to dinner. Our server was super sweet. Our kids ordered off the kids menu and they got an impressively well sized cheeseburger and the other one got the grilled chicken . We shared a refreshing beet salad along with the salmon succotash. I appreciated that they split plates for both of those without us asking, and the portion sized was also very generous. The salmon succotash was amazing with a huge tender cut of grilled salmon on top of a addictively creamy, minced succotash dish. Wine and beer options were both good as well

Talk about paying for the view...

Check out what $18 gets you from the Backyard Cafe... a handful of frozen lettuce and a few cubes of chicken (also frozen).

The place was good, not great. The prices were a bit high compared to other dining options at the Village or Caldera Springs. Our food and service were good. The setting overlooking the resort grounds is nice. I think it's a better option for a date night. We dined there with my kids. They ate their weight in bread and vegetable side dishes. I thought the pasta entry was very good.

A lovely restaurant in Sunriver with amazing views of the airport and nature area. Never been for dinner, but breakfast is always great. Interior is elegant-feeling but also still chill and comfortable. Service is good, shout-out to Heather our waitress who was so kind, fun, and helpful! Would highly recommend the coffee cake, but you can't go wrong with their pancakes or egg-based dishes.

I am not sure why the reviews aren't higher. We ordered the Kobe hanger steak. It was delicious. We had the pasta as well. Both Daniel's were also super nice. The sunset views of Mt Batchelor were breathtaking. We will be back, probably tomorrow night!!

Our group of five had a great dinner at Lodge Kitchen last night. It was pricey, but we expected that. From the deviled eggs to the burrata to the trout and more, we all loved every dish. The servers were attentive, and the food arrived quickly. It was a nice ambiance, not noisy at all. We appreciated the booth that fit all of us and allowed for easier conversation. I look forward to returning.

Food was not good and very expensive. The best dinner was the child's grilled chicken. We won't be going back

I'm very impressed with whoever makes these treats. Great creative execution and mouthwatering on the palate. It is a must especially if you're visiting Sunriver for the first time. From the moment you step up to the counter, you are made to feel like a walking inconvenience. Today's adventure began when I politely asked, twice, to have my three donuts placed in a box, you know, because I was giving them as a gift and bags are not exactly the universal symbol of "I care about you." Request denied. Apparently boxes are rationed. We then ordered two jalapeño Aspen bagels, two drinks, and handed over nearly $60 without blinking. When the buzzer went off, my sister picked up our order only to discover one bagel was plain and one was correct. She went back up to flag the mix-up, and the same woman who took our order looked her dead in the eye and informed her that no, we had not ordered them the same way. And that was simply... that. Case closed. Court adjourned. The service is a firm 1/10. The food is so good it almost makes you forget you weren't wanted there. Almost. As a local, I'll be back, the food will make sure of that. But I'll definitely talk myself out of it a few extra times because of interactions like this. Life is too short to feel like a bother just for wanting your donuts in a box and to get what you order. 2 breakfast sandwiches, 3 donuts, 2 drinks = almost $60.

We were excited to explore the area and were simply looking at the menu a reasonable distance away from the food truck. While we were waiting, a "Karen" unexpectedly turned around and confronted us about a lit cigarette. We looked around and did not see any posted "No Smoking" signs in the immediate area, so we had no reason to believe we were violating any rules. In many places we've traveled throughout the country, smoking on a public sidewalk is allowed unless it's specifically prohibited. What made the interaction especially disappointing was learning that the woman confronting us was the Manager. Instead of approaching us politely or simply informing us of any local policy, she immediately came across as aggressive and confrontational. We tried to end the conversation several times by asking her to leave us alone, but she continued pursuing the issue and would not let it go. We decided it wasn't worth the drama and walked back to where we had parked. Once at our car, she continued to approach us, making comments on the way to her car, which unfortunately was by ours. Rather than calmly explaining the situation, she seemed more interested in arguing and making sure her opinion was heard. As visitors from out of state experiencing Sunriver for the first time, this was not the welcoming atmosphere we expected. One negative interaction can leave a lasting impression, and, unfortunately, this experience overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable visit. We understand that businesses have policies and that managers have a responsibility to enforce them, but there is a respectful and professional way to communicate with customers and visitors. In our opinion, this situation was handled very poorly. We sincerely hope no one else has a similar experience. A little courtesy and professionalism would have gone a long way.
