I ordered the chicken sandwich, with pickle slaw side, and a sweet tea. The man I ordered from was perfectly nice, the food was fast and seemed freshly made. The chicken was a bit gamey for my taste and had some large chunks of fat\gistle, I prefer leaner cleaner cuts for chicken, but the fry was good on it, it was most. Spice level 3 was too mild for me, and the flavor was just okay. The pickle slaw was so dissapointing. Minimal pickle bits, it didn't taste of dill at all, not even the pickle in it. It tasted like normal, kinda bland, slaw. I was hoping for acid and salt and zing and I was left wanting and ended up not eating half of it. The sweet tea was indeed sweet, which I like. But tasted kinda bitter too, and just off. Like it was steeped too hot, it can get bitter. That way. I would choose enough food truck in the lot next time. read more

This food truck is really tall, just so my fellow shorties are aware haha. Anyway, we came here on the Friday after Christmas and we must have gotten in just before the rush which was perfect. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. I don't think I had to wait too long so that was nice. And the food looked amazing. Positive - the chicken was perfectly cooked. Negative - it was pretty bland. For a nashville fried chicken, I was expecting it to be bursting with flavor but I found myself bored. Additionally, when I picked up my order, there was no offer of utensils or napkins or condiments, nor were there any out on the counter for patrons to grab as needed. I understand you don't want people to take advantage of things sitting out but considering the shared area of Century Commons, I wouldn't think this would be an issue. Note for the Commons is that they should have a central area for all of these things so the responsibility doesn't fall on the food trucks. read more

I found the food truck on Yelp and decided to try it out while passing through the area last week. The truck itself is tucked in, right off one of the main streets in town. The setting is great, with one other truck with plenty of outdoor seating. Upon ordering I learned they only offer dark meat...even though I tend to prefer white meat, I was more than willing to try since he explained they've found the dark to cook up better. I opted for the chicken bites with sweet potato fries and the hubby chose the loaded Mac n cheese. The chicken bites size were somewhere between tenders and nuggets. I had the sauce left to the side, and didn't end up using it...it was quite separated within the cup and seemed a bit oily. The flavor of the chicken was decent, but it was a little hard to bite through the breading of the chunks, oil too hot maybe? The Mac was a large portion, very thick cheese with chunks of chicken set atop. It looked very appealing and the flavors were good, just a tad hard to eat since the chicken pieces were large. Maybe it would've been better to use small pieces with the Mac so you could eat it all together...no way to cut it up with the plastic fork. Best Nashville hot chicken sandwich that I've had in Oregon. A bit pricey but worth it

The chicken sando was tasty, moist with tons of flavor. The owner is super friendly & is genuinely glad to serve you. The eating area is out in the open. On a cold & windy day, there's no wind block, so bring a windbreaker or a jacket. On the downside, I wasn't too fond of their garlic/parm fries. Especially the runny sauce. It wasn't what I was used to. The sauce on top makes the fries very soggy. Next time, I would definitely order only get the regular fries. All & all, it was a decent experience. read more

Ordered a level 4 spicy chicken bites on mac n cheese. The whole entire plate was covered in sauce that was easy too hot to eat. Usually order 4 outta 5 spice and this was just awful. I dream of their damn pickle slaw quite often, it's that good. We also tried their loaded Mac n cheese which was obviously awesome. We chatted with them for a bit and they sent us home with their hot sauce (that I made stretch for so many weeks, so good) and some stickers to add to my collection! After seeing rave reviews for this new food truck on the Bend Foodies Facebook group, we decided to make it a part of our favorite Sisters, OR outing. After a beautiful walk at the Whychus Creek Overlook we stopped by Wonderland Chicken Co. for their Nashville chicken sandwiches. This food truck is getting alot of buzz for their southern style food. Sisters, OR has a hard time keeping good food establishments alive and the options always seem slim. I was hopeful that we could find a favorite spot in Sisters to visit in conjuction with our favorite hikes and when passing through. As an added bonus, this truck is located near the Village Green playground at the Eurosports shop. We placed our order and had to wait 30 minutes, which we took as a good sign. We love to see a busy eating establishment and we don't mind waiting for quality. We ordered our sandwiches at a 3/5 "Hot" rating. The spiciness level did not disappoint. I loved the pleasant burn with the ability to still taste the food. The dark meat on the sandwich was perfectly cooked- no rubbery texture here! I'm always glad for a dark meat option- the unsung hero of the chicken world! The breading was light but had a pleasant crunch and great flavor. On top of the sandwich was a crisp coleslaw and chopped pickles. I prefer my pickles sliced but it wasn't a deal breaker. The only improvements I can really suggest on the sandwich would be to have a pickle with a bit more acidic bite and a bun that can stand up to the wetness of the filling. By the last bite the bun was soft and saturated. The shoestring fries were perfect in every way- my favorite style of french fry. My mother in law ordered the mac and cheese. It was cooked to perfection with a nice al dente texture. The cheese sauce was ultra creamy but didn't have a Velveeta flavor. I wonder how they did that... Overall summary: best hot chicken sandwich in Central Oregon! We've finally found our go-to Sisters lunch spot. Also check out their neighbor Boone Dog pizza. read more

One of my favorite food trucks and definitely my favorite chicken sandwich! The thigh meat is so juicy, the breading is thick but not too heavy. Each spice level really is different, kicking it up a notch with each number with the top spice being truly for those who want it extra spicy. The pickle slaw evens out the heat and I always get a side of blue cheese to slather on as well. All the sides are delectable but that potato salad is something to eat all about. This Nashville style chicken sandwich is off the hook good! I love spicy food and chose Level 3 Hot and it was nice amount of heat (habanero). Stopped here on an impromptu drive out to Sisters and found a new favorite spot for sure. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese and both were delicious. I'm a huge Mac and cheese fiend and this stuff was amazing, I wanted to order a whole vat of it to take home. The sandwich was very juicy, flavorful, and fresh. I ordered a 2 on the spice scale because I like some slice but not a lot. It was definitely as spicy as I would've liked, had I gone to a 3 I would've been dying. I finally see what all the hype was about... the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! I got spice level 2 and such good flavor and heat, though I'm trying level 3 next time:). I had a hard time choosing a side so I went with both potato salad and the sweet potato fries. Glad I did because both excellent! Super loaded potato salad, but not heavy with Mayo. Try this... the salad, add fried chicken, blue cheese dressing with mild red dipping love sauce on the side. Dip a piece of chicken in the red stuff and make sure to dredge the bottom for the spices to attach to the crispy coating. Top that bite with some salad and a blue cheese chunk and watch the taste bud magic happen. Also, get a side of potatoes salad for the table to share. Its the best you'll ever taste, seriously!
