Stopped in for a quick appetizer and cocktail before dinner. The bartenders were very accommodating and kind, view of the golf course was beautiful and carpaccio was delicious. Small but nice selection of top shelf whiskey.

Here's to another nice date night (Specialty drink menu & wine selection also worth mentioning)

Second time at Solomon's on the beautiful Tetherow Resort, where we again had a wonderful experience! Atmosphere, service (Ari), and cuisine all on point, providing a lovely date night. All staff were authentically friendly and professional, which says to me that they love their job. We will be back!

I usually don't post reviews, but this was such a great experience that a good review is well deserved. We have eaten at all of the high end restaurants in Bend as we are born and raised and we definitely have our favorites. For some reason, Solomon's always fell off of my radar when looking for a nice dinner but we were looking for something new for a date night with our kiddo tagging along and happened upon a reservation to Solomon's. Our 9 year old is very well behaved and used to eating at nice places so I wasn't worried when we walked in and there weren't any other kids in the quiet atmosphere. Our server, Austin was so kind and welcoming, honestly one of the very best we have ever had anywhere. She made perfect suggestions for drinks that were off menu and for our kiddo for dinner choices. The food was absolutely delicious. After the burrata appetizer, we were impressed and our son said, "if they can make burrata and tomatoes taste that good I'm excited for my dinner!" While the food and drinks were delicious, the view was gorgeous, the service was the most memorable. Thank you, Austin! Our son definitely made a new friend and we will be back to visit soon! This is a hidden gem in Bend for sure.

Aqua de Fleur should be a new staple on the menu. Drew showed up guns blazing with amazing drinks and service.

Drew is the best! He always takes care of us and concocts the best drinks! We have yet to have something bad on the menu either.

The steaks were good, but the sea bass was too small and average, and the deserts were below average, and stale.

Between the exceptionally good food at Hook and Plow, a most pleasant hotel experience, and a memorable trip to the High Desert Museum; our trip to Bend turned out to be a pleasure instead of the miserableness I expected. We had the Steak Tartare, the Chef's Board, the Blackend Crabcake, the Pear and Burrata Salad, and the Bone-in Pork Chop. We each got the cheesecake for desert and split the other dishes. This was more than enough for the three of us and we left full, happy, and with three large to-go boxes. The flavors of the various dishes were amazing. While all the dishes were vvery good, the standouts to me were the steak Tartare, the Pear and Burrata Salad, and the Cheesecake.

Service was lovely - warm, friendly and attentive. Shout out to Logan for being great with my daughter as well. I ordered the lunch combo special and highly recommend - you can 2 items off a list of 5-6 for $18. I had the tempura battered fish tacos (2) and a cup of seafood chowder. Tacos were well portioned but still handheld and well seasoned. Chowder was delicious and the croutons were perfectly crunchy and buttery. My daughter had the kids fish and chips and the portion was excellent - fish to batter ratio was great and she loved the fries. The restaurant is clean, airy and well decorated. My daughter loved the cow print wallpaper in the restroom too. Highly recommend if you are in town, lovely meal.

Outstanding, excellent, creative, exceptional are all descriptions of my meals. I love the ambience and service too!! Josh, Nathaniel, And Jason were all helpful for our menu selections, gave us taste of wine to select the best one, and were attentive to every aspect of our dining experience. I can't wait to go back. I'm already dreaming of the zucchini appetizer, the beet salad, the caesar, the filet and seafood platter(lobster too), the scampi and linguine and the best prepared steelhead with vegie ragu. The food was decent but not as good as the price point reflects. I ordered the steak pasta which had good cuts of meat but was overall underwhelming. If you're going to spend $35 at a minimum, the food should blow you away. The ambiance is my main complaint and I honestly have no idea how to fix this but I could not hear my partner from across the table. The restaurant was so loud that we spent most of our meal either not talking, or asking what the other had said after trying to talk. Brickhouse I really want to like eating in your restaurant, but I just cannot see a reason to dine there when there are 5 other restaurants that have similar pricing for a significantly better overall experience.

Thankfully, they let you add your name to the waitlist so you can explore downtown Bend while you wait, which worked out perfectly since it's surrounded by cute shops and walkable streets. We came here to celebrate our two year anniversary, and it was the perfect date night spot. The atmosphere was warm, dark, and romantic with a rustic Western inspired feel that felt not overdone but fit Bend perfectly! For dinner, we ordered the scallops with the squid ink pasta. The scallops were perfectly tender, and while the pasta was a little on the greasy side, it was still packed with flavor. We also had a salad and the beef carpaccio to share. The carpaccio was delicious, though I think it would have been even better with a different type of crackers since the ones served were a bit too hard. Overall, the food, atmosphere and close location made for a great evening. If you're planning to dine here, definitely make a reservation ahead of time!

(You can have the sauce on the side, but why?) The thick (14oz.) steak laid half over the mashers, and sauce all over which is how I liked it. The mashed potatoes had the perfect blend of horseradish (not overpowering) that went well with my medium-rare steak. It was delicious and, boy I was full! Parking was like (well, you know Bend!) reasonable (no reflection on the restaurant) get there early and stake your claim! The service was amazing, the food was awesome (my steak was flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection!). Price $$$ It is what you'd expect for such a fine dining experience! Kudos and compliments to everyone there for making my birthday dining experience so wonderful! My desert, a slice of chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream!

So if you're hankering for the mac n cheese or shrimp n grits or veg burger or any of the menu items, after today they are history. I started eating at The Drake in their first week of business and had many, many, many meals there over the years but things change and so, it seems, has the popularity of The Drake. Now the good news. The new owners are a trio and one of them is also one of the owners of the inestimable Ken's Artisan Pizza in Portland that opened its' Bend location last year. (Go! Even if you have to stand in line for 45 minutes like I did.) The first news of this ownership change was that they would keep the name and current focus of The Drake. But local television news reports that after The Drake closes today it will be reimagined with a new name and design and menu. The opening for the new place is currently said to be Memorial Day weekend. I don't live in Bend anymore but there is still a family home there and so I visit on occasion and knowing a "Ken's" owner is involved in the new enterprise may make me brave the wicked-bad downtown parking to try this new place. In the meantime, I remember how fun and delicious it could be to eat at The Drake.
