I recently moved out of Loft One35 to a different city, BUT I really enjoyed my time there. During the move out process, the leasing office, especially Jalissa, was a great help. She was responsive, patient, and understanding of my situation, which made moving to a whole different city way less stressful (huge shoutout to Jalissa)! Good spot for uptown living. Might wanna watch out for the party noises on fridays & Saturdays. Also you get hear the footsteps of people living above your floor. Apart from these, the apartment has good security systems set up & has Starbucks coffee at the lounge. Overall a great place if noise on weekends is not an issue. read more

Although only living in Loft One35 for less than a month now, I can honestly say this is one of the best apartment complexes I've ever lived in. The ENTIRE office team is AMAZING (especially Ally, Teryan, and Stephanie) and are super helpful whenever we've needed something. Plus, they actually hang out and have fun with the residents at the multitude of community events -- feeling more like friends than management. Throughout the move-in process, Stephanie was more than accommodating in finding us the perfect unit for our needs. Following that, the maintenance staff (Travis, Charles, and Thomas) were incredibly quick to address any minor move-in requests (such as getting our Ring doorbell working), as well as ensuring the many on-site amenities stay in great working order. My only suggestion to Greystar is that I wish the amazing clubhouse we have (with a pool table and freshly ground coffee) was open 24/7, but given that's the only improvement to be made here, I'd say they're doing pretty well -- and certainly not enough to detract from earning all five stars. While I've still got 11 months left on my lease and may not have had the full experience of living here yet, I'm excited to have finally found a place that feels like home for the next year! read more

Love this place! Super convenient walk to uptown, restaurants and the stadium. Totally animal friendly As far as the apartment complex goes, it's very clean, quiet and has great amenities. Josh and Teryen, in the office, are fantastic! They always promptly respond to emails and fix any concerns immediately. Also-maintenance staff helped us move in when our movers quit (long story), but they did this out of the goodness of their heart! We had a short term lease because we are looking to buy a house but otherwise, we would be staying longer! read more

Can't wait to move. Came in May 2020 and been stuck due to COVID. -Management doesn't care about safety. One entrance is broken 90% of the time. No sense of urgency from mgmt to fix the problem. The entrance leads to an elevator that does NOT have fob security, so anyone has access anywhere in the complex. Fob security is broken on most of the stairwell doors. -In 2020 there was an active shooter in the building. Management did not notify residents until AFTER the incident occurred. The shooter was a person authorized to be in the building, which did not make me feel safe at all. -The car garage doors are left open for no reason all day/night. When they work properly, they don't provide much safety and people/cars easily tailgate in. -Management team is friendly when you don't talk to them often. They do the bare minimum, but residents shouldn't expect much more. They won't go out of their way. -Mgmt does very little to promote community. There are resident events, which mgmt doesn't care about but has to do. -Don't bother raising issues with management. They won't take responsibility and will tell you its your problem. -Expect your packages to get lost and for mgmt to do nothing about it. -There's a mailroom with lockers for bigger packages, but not enough lockers for the amount of packages delivered daily. Packages that don't fit in the lockers are left on the floor for other people to steal (happens often). Mgmt does nothing to fix this problem and blames the mail carriers. -Some packages are delivered to the leasing office. Mgmt is supposed to catalog these, but they constantly lose packages. Once, I went to the leasing office 4 days in a row to find a package (which had tracking, so I know it had been delivered). Each day was told they didn't have it. Next day, my boyfriend went to try. Turns out, package had been there all along, but mgmt shoved it in a corner and lost it. -Mgmt used to inform residents of packages in the leasing office via email. Without notice, mgmt stopped sending these out b/c there are too many packages and not enough staff members. -Maintenance of the apartment complex is not a priority. There's trash and broken lights in the hallways, elevators, stairwells. Usually one elevator is broken. -I've seen lots of dog poop inside on hallway floors. Mgmt does nothing. -Note, onsite maintenance team is great. They handle requests for individual apts quickly. -Amenities are nothing special. You can find the same/better elsewhere. read more

I moved to Charlotte two years ago and spent my first year in a complex in south end that didn't focus on resident events. Needless to say, it was a tough year in a new city and i didn't make any friends. Cut to a year later when I moved to Loft 135 and made some of the bestest friends that someone new to the city could ask for! I love that this complex works so hard to create a warm, welcoming environment for residents. There is a resident event to attend almost weekly and my favorite events are wine down Wednesdays and the Annual pool and Christmas party! The other residents are nice and friendly as well! But perhaps the best part of this complex is the staff! Tiona is my now my best friend (whether she agrees or not) and ally and the crew are awesome! Any concerns that I have or maintenance requests are always promptly addressed and I would highly recommend Loft 135 to anyone! So don't spend a lonely year in Charlotte, come to Loft 135 and let's be friends!!! read more

DO NOT LOOK HERE. I am a young professional who choose Loft due to the convenience to Uptown and concierge perks. I never expected a "luxury" apartment to try to rip off the folks who live there. Over $1500+ of items were stolen from our storage unit because the staff neglected to lock the storage locker door (we have that them apologizing for the negligence in writing) but the staff laughed when we asked them to help reimburse us for the items. They even required multiple emails and phone calls before they even "looked" at the security camera. All they care about is collecting your monthly rent check and finding other ways to take your money. The corporate policies backing them up is disgusting, and everyone hides behind Greystar's money. I have lived here ever since it opened a few years ago. I love this place!! My 1 bedroom has so much space compared to other apartments in the south end area... and to top it, I'm paying less than people who are living in shoebox sized apartments in south end. I walk to work in the city because it's so close and save a ton of money on parking. The office staff is amazing and always extremely helpful. Any time I submit maintenance requests, they are always addressed so fast. I don't see myself leaving for a while!! read more

MAINTENANCE IS KEY!! Overall I think that the building is fairly nice. We could use some added amenities like guest parking which was a MAJOR oversight considering this is uptown living and outside parking outside is scarce. But all things considered I can live with that. Yes, there have been multiple car break-ins that have occurred here, paired with a slow response on resolution from management until and we made the evening news. But in all fairness I think management have made strides to amp up the security around here. My biggest gripe comes from the maintenance or lack there of. The maintenance of this building will eventually be it's downfall in time--I can see it. The maintenance crew here is a JOKE and there seems to be a one man show a.k.a. the "head" of maintenance that is grossly incompetent. It took roughly 3 months to fix and eventually replace a dryer that I complained about the first month I moved in. I even provided great detail of the problem to make the resolution as seamless as possible. Only after raising somewhat of a shit storm in the leasing office was the problem fixed. The biggest contribution to why it took so long was the runaround given by maintenance and the lies they communicated to the leasing office regarding communicating with me; while also noting on record the false instances of the supposed times they "contacted" me. I've informed them about my balcony door being broken in April (note it was this way when I moved in so I'm not sure how it passed inspection for move in ready). I have to keep the screen door closed via a piece of cardboard so gnats don't overtake my place! It's now July and still the problem remains!! Am I supposed to go the whole summer with struggling to access my balcony due to a faulty balcony door? I guess so--as long as my rent is paid. Once again more lies told by maintenance about a time in which it will be fixed--it's now 3 months later. I've also noticed little but major things that should be noticeable if maintenance was worth a damn ( I.e light outage in stairwell that's been in existence for 4 weeks now. Peeling carpet in stairwell that's been the case for 4 months now. Exposed wiring of hall's central air unit etc. Also a notable mentioned that there's no cold water during morning/afternoon (what in the ENTIRE HELL? ) Also only the main common areas are cleaned daily aka the first floor and lobby area--you know, the areas where rental prospects can frequent. I've been here since October and have seen a whopping ONE occurrence of floors 2-5 being vacuumed out and/or mopped. With a valet trash system that allows for smelly garbage to remain in the hall sometimes for hours on end, and stink it up, the upkeep of the halls should be much more frequent....these may seem like little things to some but issues that this will fester and eventually become the "normal" which shouldn't be the case considering the rental prices here. Normalizing this lack of upkeep will lead to the rundown of this building once the "newness" wears off. I probably will not renew once my lease is up! read more

I lived here in a corporate studio for four months for work. The location is excellent, but the apartment office staff were the most unprofessional and unhelpful team I have ever encountered. Multiple times they mislabeled my packages and gave them to other tenants or "lost" them all together. I was consistently given incorrect information and the attitude of the staff was awful. My apartment was above the gym and the floors were so thin that my bed shook multiple times a day when people were running on treadmills. The icing on the cake occurred when a package from Amazon was accidentally delivered to the apartment building after I moved out. I called and asked if I could have it returned or have a courier pick it up. No one had any information and I was berated that they were too busy to deal with this. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was then screamed at and talked over, and when I asked if they had tracking information for the courier they claimed they used to return the package (because the company hadn't received it) I was told they don't keep records of these type of things and promptly hung up on. I can't warn you away enough from this property unless you like poor customer service and being mistreated by an apathetic and hostile staff. For the amount of money you pay in rent there are considerably better options in the area. read more

I completed a 13 month lease and was one of the first to move in. I moved to Loft from a neighboring apartment just a few miles away. The location is great. I regularly took the 20 min walk to Hornets arena for games. Only downside would have to be noise from my neighbors above me and the multiple random apt "maintenance updates". Hopefully they are better at respecting privacy now. Staff was great, I personally signed my lease with then manager Daisy. Super friendly and responsive, she did an amazing job from move-in to move-out. read more

I've loved living here for the past 2 years! The office staff are extremely nice and provide helpful communication updates for residents. Maintenance crew has also been quick to respond and helpful. Great location close to both Uptown and South End, and the complex comes with really nice amenities (package concierge, Starbucks machine, 2-story gym). The office has worked hard this past year to address any building/parking garage security concerns/incidents - additional security fob accesses installed, front desk late night concierge staff added, additional cameras installed, etc. Guest parking isn't ideal, BUT overall have had a great experience here!! read more

I've been a resident for almost six months and can confidently say that Loft has been a great fit for me. I searched for MONTHS for the best apartment given my budget and desired living location. Exhausted and close to signing with another property, I stumbled across Loft's website and found an open unit with a flexible lease and affordable rental rate. For me, the location could not be any better. I can walk to anything in South End or Uptown, and bike or walk to work in minutes. The property is modern and well-kept. We receive almost daily communication from the leasing office regarding events or considerations around our little community. If there is an issue, the office is great at getting back to you in a day or less. There's a community event almost every week that taps into local restaurants or breweries for support which is fantastic. If you're like me and enjoy walking/biking to places around Charlotte, an energetic atmosphere, and a modern living situation, Loft One35 is the ideal fit for you! read more
