Recently visited this cafe at the new location for a late breakfast. Since we were later (almost noon) there was no wait to be seated. Many tables that can accommodate small and large groups as well as booths. The waitress was quick to take our order and came by often to refill our coffee and tea. Meals order were the country fried steak and a bacon and cheese breakfast burrito. The country fried steak was large and had a good breading that didn't crumble off. The breakfast burrito had slices of bacon inside vs the bacon crumbled and cooked into the egg. It was ok, but I would select another option if I went there again. The tortilla could have been more grilled/toasted.

The food was good. We were waited on promptly. My only negative was some of the items at our booth weren't very clean and there were cobwebs on the wall (not a lot). The server was kind.

It's keep of like an original crackle barrel vibe. It's cute, the staff is super friendly and outgoing. I got the French toast special and it was great! Everything tasted good and was a good price. I'd come back.

We loved the Log Cabin cafe. The proximity if you are a guest at Big Cedar Lodge is perfect, 5 mins away right outside the alternative BCL entrance. And prices can't be beat, considering how expensive BCL is. It's quaint and done well, you feel like your in a log cabin, even the bathroom looks like an outhouse. The service is a okay and very friendly. And they have everything you'd want for breakfast or lunch. I get the sense it's probably pretty busy for breakfast and has a reputation for a great breakfast. We went for lunch and (yes you can get breakfast for lunch). The pancakes are huge, seriously you only need to eat one. I enjoyed the grilled cheese, you can never go wrong with that, just wish it was a little bigger. We loved the Log Cabin cage and you will too, they have a great kids meal and our very family friendly. Give it a try and enjoy!!

Loved the open faced roast beef lunch special. Their omelette was perfectly cooked. Any time you find a restaurant in a truck stop the entrance is through the attached flea market, you have to try it!

Every time we are on Hwy 65 on Friday and tits around lunch time, we stop in Log Cabin Cafe for their Open Face Roast Beef Sandwich served with green beans and mashed potato's. This is one of my husband and my favorite sandwich of all time and let me tell you, it would be hard to beat their sandwich with white gravy. Service is always checking on you and they are courteous. Since it is a log cabin on the inside well, that's its ambiance.

Breakfast was awesome. I had the loaded hash browns with a biscuit. It was huge and so tasty. My husband had the special, and his pancake was enormous. But most importantly, everything was delicious. Service was spot on. Ambiance is so cute with a little gift shop. We will be back. You should give it a try read more

I've tried this little place twice and I truly wanted to fall in love with it. The lunch I had was okay. The breakfast was nothing exciting. The eggs were pale yellow yolks with bacon that was tough. I understand they will be moving a little south to Wild Bill's in Ridgedale. Most likely on my next trip, I'll drive a little further south to Charlie's Cafe in Omaha, Arkansas. They offer a better breakfast at lower prices. I bought cinnamon rolls to go. They were good and I liked the icing being on the side and me being able to decide how much I wanted to use. This place is as a disappointment. The food was alright, but the service was the killer. Me and my party came in the wrong door and the cashier made sure we knew it was the wrong door and she was "tired of people always coming in that door". Then the food was alright, sausage was burnt though. Waitress made many snide comments to us and told us that "there should be a rule for no phones at the table" when my younger nephew had his phone but answered her every time she asked him a question. Then when paying, my father who is a retired Army veteran, asked if they have a military discount and the cashier responded with a rude tone, "You could have mentioned that earlier". read more

Had to ask for water 3 times before the server brought anything to drink. Pancake was huge but raw in the middle. Scramble eggs didn't even look like an entire egg was used. Bacon was good. read more

Delicious! We were staying at Big Cedar and one of our shuttle drivers mentioned we try the place out. I am glad we did, because it was out of this world. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had! Great big dishes of yummy hash browns, eggs, ham and chicken fried steak is what we had. And, EVERYONE who works here is on it and extremely attentive and helpful and so sweet. This is def a place to stop in and have a little something to eat! read more

Log Cabin Cafe is a cute hole in the wall place. Their gift shop located at the entrance was so much fun to look through. There was a lot of great homemade gifts that you cannot get at all of the other touristy gift shops located in Branson. The waitresses were so kind, prompt, and lovely to talk with. With all of that being said, the food was okay. They served it very fast, but it wasn't anything spectacular. I do still recommend it though! read more

Overall: meh. The good: It's very cute. The servers were nice. The not so great: The prices are significantly higher than what is on the posted menu. Sandwiches come with nothing else, so be prepared to spend an extra $3.00 for fries or cole slaw or whatever. I had a grilled ham and cheese, and it was a good sized slice of ham and everything was melted properly. The ugly: French fries (at $3), were ordered "overdone and crispy". They are frozen crinkle cuts that came out pale and limp. It's this kind of oblivious carelessness that totally turns me off a restaurant. My husband's biscuit sandwich came on a soft (aka microwaved) biscuit. Not a good texture at all. Again, just LOOKING at the biscuit, it was obvious it had been over-heated. Just pay attention. After 15 minutes of an empty glass, we had to request a drink refill. Careless. We go out for breakfast almost every Sunday, and the price and quality of this one took it off the list for our regular rotation. There is so much better to be had in the area. read more

This place was amazing! Was looking for a mom an pop place while visiting Branson and this place did not disappoint. The service was fast and friendly. Our server kept my coffee cup full and everyone was really welcoming. I got the chicken fried steak and it was one of the best I've had. I highly recommend this place when you're in the area. FYI My wife and I stopped for breakfast 2 hours ago. While seated for less than 5 minutes the chair I was sitting on collapses and sends me to the floor. Several welds broke sending me straight down. As I am an Engineer other chairs my have the same issue. Owners said they replace with theses one year ago. Be cautious please. I have bruses and sore. read more

A pastor friend of mine (who is also a prolific Yelper) said that you have to be careful when writing a bad review because you are "messing with someone's livelihood." That being said, I'm torn between hurting their business - but loyalty to other Yelpers and potential guests won out. I went here for breakfast. It is very quaint but a bit cramped. The biscuits and gravy, despite what the waitress said, were not entirely homemade. The gravy was very gelatinous which is indicative of a mix. The biscuits were burnt. The coffee was very weak and served in a styrofoam cup. I left the waitress a generous tip; she didn't cook the food. If you are wanting to experience an Ozark -country small town restaurant, go on in. But I hope you're not hungry. read more

My husband and father in-law picked up takeout from here. The large lady working the register told my husband there was a gun pointed at them because "You can't be too careful with all the lives matter'ers and the (bad word for same sex men. Rhymes with maggot)." Obviously she didn't realize my husband was married to another man and was showing her true colors. Confederate flags everywhere. The confederates fought because they didn't believe owning people of color was wrong and didn't want it to end. Thankfully the confederates lost. Displaying these flags shows what parts of history they still believe in. In addition, the food was soggy and gravy was bland. read more

We ate here three mornings in a row last week, and the quality depends on who's cooking. Having said that, breakfast was great every day! The styrofoam cups and paper plates don't bother me in the least because prices were so reasonable. read more
