We came here for to celebrate my dad's birthday and it turned out to be a wonderful evening. The service was very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was very dark and intimate. We ordered the saganaki to start, which was flambéed table side and it was fresh and delicious. We shared the porterhouse and the lamb chops (which were loins, not ribs) and there was an extra $8 charge on shared plates. The porterhouse was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The filet portion was my favorite part. The lamb loin chops were very thick and came with 4 large pieces. Each order came with a side salad or soup, and some type of potato, with many options to choose from. I love the Greek influence on this steak house restaurant. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or for a nice dinner.

What a fantastic experience, our first time eating there our server was wonderful. Our food was even better. My husband said it was the best lamb chop he had had. And oh my God, the carrot cake.

Service was quick. Cute and moody interior. The Greek salad was fresh and tasty. It's hard to say good things about the porterhouse. Uneven cooking and bland in taste. No crust whatsoever and kind of felt like I was eating a chuck roast. Mostly disappointed in this place overall.

I had fond memories from my last visit here. Still good. Just not as stand out as it could be . . . more unique flavors, etc. It definitely is a touristy venue, both in its prices and turning of tables, not to mention its promotion of Saganaki. Service was okay. As a frequent midwesterner, prone to steak houses, I need a little more to earn that 5th star.

A very mediocre steakhouse with very dark lighting. Service is very friendly but also very relaxed so I wouldnt eat here if you wanted to be somewhere after. Had the beef kabob and it came with barley soup. Beef kabob I would pass on as it was chewy. It came with a side of potatoes and we had it as greek fries which I would also pass on because they were not crispy and also chewy. Also had the pork bbq ribs and they truly did fall off the bone and were worth the price.

This is one of the oldest steak house in Illinois and well worth a visit. This historic steakhouse is a must-visit. The lamb is delectable, and the martini is expertly shaken. Located on Main Street, it's a great place to stroll and shop.

Service was excellent. Very nice romantic atmosphere. Mixed drinks were watered down so I wasn't happy about that. The prim rib was delicious but very pricy. For 2 prim rib dinners it cost $167.00 . Lots of delicious steaks to choose from. We had a very nice time. Always a winter favorite destination.

Dino and Sam deliver an excellent meal in the heart of the greatest small town in America. Prime rib is legit, deserts are fantastic all around must do in Galena. Dinner for 5 drinks, steaks, desert, 240 coconuts

This is a classic, cozy spot with intimate vibes and a cute, old-school sign out front that sets the tone. The flaming saganaki was definitely a highlight--fun to watch and deliciously gooey. My boyfriend got a steak and said it was solid. The atmosphere feels like a timeless supper club, and the service was super diligent--attentive without being overbearing. Good date night spot when in Galena.

The three of us were greeted promptly and had about a 5 minute wait. The place is cute as the dickens - very charming. The wait staff was fantastic and friendly even though they were hustling. Now, the best part...the food!!! We tried the meatloaf sandwich, Cobb salad, and a plowman sandwich with a side salad. The food was fresh and the portions were large but not impossible. My Cobb salad had the perfect balance of mixed greens with all of the good stuff - chicken, blue cheese,... I usually end up with a pile of leftover lettuce after I pick out the best bits lol. We saw another table order a piece of chocolate cake so we got one to go. We enjoyed it later and it was divinely chocolately without being too sweet. I even liked the frosting which I usually remove because it's too sweet! I will definitely be returning next time I'm in DeWitt!!! Thanks for a great lunch! Wish I had snapped some pictures!

Most was barely warm except chicken was hot if taken from the middle. No French Toast available maybe kids should have asked for few pieces. Possibly using smaller aluminum serving containers would keep things warm. Homemade cinnamon rolls or brownies would have been nice for a dessert rather than just store bought pastries and donuts. We did like the fresh fruit and yogurt for parfait. It will be nice to try the regular menu during the week when we travel by next week.

The staff was friendly as soon as I walked in and I placed my order at the bar. When I asked if they had coke or Pepsi the employee showed me the can of Faygo. Being from Detroit I immediately asked if the owner was from Detroit. The employee didn't know and also didn't know that Faygo is a Detroit staple. My food was ready in about 10 minutes and smelled delicious. The salmon filet dinner is served with rice, hummus and your choice of salad or soup. Everything was cooked well and seasoned. It has an extensive menu selection of Mediterranean food and friendly staff. I would have to say that the dips are the star of the show. Getting a combination of a couple or doing one of their platters that gets you a variety is key. The pita bread comes out hot and you can easily share with friends and debate on the best one. The grilled platter we got was also good. The meat wasn't as juicy as I would have liked it, but it hit the Mediterranean flavors well. The rice was more sweet and dry than I typically like my rice, but went well with the meal. The day after it was not good at all though, so that got some point deductions for me. Overall, if you're craving Mediterranean at a chill spot, it's not bad, but it's not the best. I would say 3.5 overall, but 4 for the dips.
