Very unhappy with Gallatin TN Logan's. My review is for Gallatin location. Subpar service and management.

Hubby picked out Logan's for our lunch date yesterday. I looked on Yelp and saw they have 2.5 stars, but I was really hopeful I'd be able to raise their score a little. I really don't like to leave a bad review. Our server was Brianna. She was attentive, friendly, smiling, and our tea was never empty. Brianna brought us rolls to start. They were amazing. We ordered onion rings for an app. They were truly delicious. Beer battered and fried to perfection. Unfortunately, on my second one, when I dipped it into the sauce a hair was in the sauce and then hanging off my onion ring. My husband removed it with a napkin because I was gagging. Needless to say, we didn't eat the onion rings after that. I asked the waitress to take them away and explained about the hair. She apologized. For entrees, hubby ordered the Cajun chicken sausage Alfredo with penne pasta. It was a huge portion, and he thought it was delicious. 2/3 of it is in a to go box in my fridge now. I'd ordered the Roadies, which is simply 3 cheeseburger sliders and fries. I asked for my burgers to be cooked medium. They were well done, and the char on the outside was just too much. Medium is medium. I ate 2/3 of one because I was hungry, and I told Brianna that I'd only be eating the fries because the burgers are well done. She apologized and said that she wrote it on the ticket for medium, but the cooks don't always read the special instructions. I had about 5 fries and put the plate at the end of the table. When Brianna picked up the plate she again apologized. She brought our check, and it included the onion rings with hair and my meal they overcooked, and explained that all she could do was give us a military discount, and hopefully we'll return and have a better experience. Well, we are military. With all my husband has lived through, we deserve a military discount! I asked her to speak with a manager. Hubs and I were surprised one hadn't already been by to speak with us. Our server came back with the check, onion rings removed, but no manager ever bothered to come out. We won't return, ever. Management of Logan's obviously don't give a crap about their customers. I left hungry and had to stop somewhere else to eat after we left. It's just wrong. I can't leave my review without mentioning that the store itself is dirty, outdated, and truly needs painting. I'd give 5 stars for the service, but management not caring enough to speak to us ruined our entire experience. As a former restaurant manager, I found nothing worthy of a return visit. No one cared, and you left the staff to deal with all mistakes. That's just wrong. read more

We walked in and there was 3 hosts standing at the host stand and they acted like we were interrupting them. The restaurant was dirty and it was not busy, they said it was gonna be a 15 minute wait. Did not appreciate their attitudes. read more

Had the worst experience, let's start by saying why is there 17 staff standing around doing nothing as soon as we came in they rolled there eyes cause we came in. We were the only ones there too well we ended up finally getting seated after standing there for 5 minutes and nobody said a word to us 17 PEOPLE by the way. I got shrimp platter and it had a hair on it and was so crispy but not cooked all the way through so I sent it back. We were waving people down to send it back because nobody was checking up on us or anything but I just kept getting ignored very frustrating at this point oh and did I mention the part that it was 2 shrimp platters that came out like that...After that I just wanted to leave, finally I have one of the managers come out but instead of coming out professionally she keeps asking me over and if I need anything I said no twice and she kept saying it over and over again it would of been nice if they tried to help earlier but they waited so long and she didn't even seem like she wanted to help just had to come out and seem like she did something will not be coming back and nor should you read more

The server was really nice and we were seated right away. The food was really good. My husband got the coconut shrimp . He said it was really good. My steak was just how I like it. Went for a birthday dinner and got the NY Strip, mushroom and onion rings. The onion rings where the best I've had a long time. The mushroom where very tasty as well. The NY strip mine was cooked perfectly, but the birthday girls had a little issues. First steak was very fatty but the second was a lot better. We stopped here because it was conveniently located outside our hotel. We had a great experience and were so glad we stopped in. The biscuits were amazing. The good overall was good. We had a group of five and everyone was happy with their meals. The service was fantastic and they had our drinks refilled before they were empty. It was well decorated and comfortable. We would definitely come again if we were in the area - even if it was just to grab some biscuits to go. read more

Great place to eat after a long cold day. They have honey rolls when you come in. Lots on regulars at the bar. Staff was nice and friendly. Food was good. Steaks cooked on point to order. Nice portions and prices were reason reasonable. read more

I ordered take out from Logan's. I arrived on time as instructed in the email. I still has to wait another 10mins for my order to be prepare. I typically wouldn't mind. However, when I returned to my hotel with my order, it was missing my sweet potato. I chose not to drive back to pick it up because it was too far. I did call the restaurant to tell them. I was told that the kitchen must have run out of sweet potatoes. I was never offered an alternative if that was the case. This was disappointing! I had tipped 20% and paid a nice price for my steak only to miss part of my meal. They told me they would let the manager know, but nothing else was offered for the mistake. I love Logan's hand breaded chicken tenders. They have just enough breading and crispiness and are fried to order. The homemade mashed potatoes are good as well, although I've since been informed that they no longer offer homemade but instead instant mashed potatoes. The drink specials are good too! read more

We stopped in on an Impulse at the end of a shopping trip. I didn't have exceedingly high expectations from a chain restaurant but still I left disappointed. The food wasn't terrible but was pretty bland. Oddly enough the highlight for me was the Caesar's salad which was decent. The most frustrating thing was how they rushed all the food out at basically the same time. Also, if you are a craft beer connoisseur you'll need to look elsewhere. The one thing I can say is the waiter was quite good so I will give them that. read more

I rarely write reviews and when I do I write positive feedback. So, the positive- the warm buns are excellent. But the rest of the experience was not good. Way too much dressing on the salad. I mean like a cup of it plopped on the top. The ribs my wife ordered were dry and, at best, barely warm. I had chicken/rib combo. While mine were warmer than my wife's it wasn't by much. The chicken strips were deep fried nearly to death. Finally the sweet potatoes were way undercooked and impossible to eat. I can't recommend this place. read more

Was working in the area and decided to order take out since my hotel was next door. Placed the order online had about a 30 minute wait til the order was scheduled to be ready. Once I arrived the to go desk was pretty busy. After an additional wait I received my food. The cashier showed me the food before it was placed in the bag. We were staying at the Country Inn Suites across the street from this Logan's Roadhouse and called in an order to go. It was Wednesday and there was a $12.99 steak special advertised on the website. The person that took our order said we could get the $12.99 special to go, we ordered and she told us drinks were included with the special. When we got there to pick it up they charged us full price for the steaks and for the drinks. When we told them that the person we gave the order to told us that it would be $12.99 per steak order including drinks, they said that she was wrong and we would have to pay full price because it was a take out order. We also asked for no gravy on the potatoes and they put gravy on the potatoes. Would have been nice if they had told us that we could not get the specials price because it was a take out order and that the drinks were not included in the price because we didn't want drinks but got them because we were told they were included. We recently moved here from the Belleville, IL area where we had the opportunity to dine at a very new Logan's Roadhouse location. The food was great. The drinks were strong and cold (if required). This Illinois location closed and was empty for a long time. Unfortunately, the Logan's chain fell on hard times and they declared bankruptcy as the COVID-19 Pandemic hit. Recently, the chain was purchased by a new restaurant group. So, we've moved to Clarksville in August 2020 and I was delighted to see that there was an operating Logan's here. I signed up for their e-mail notifications and today armed with a $5.00 e-mail coupon my wife and I decided to have lunch. We got there a little after 1 p.m. so we were after the traditional lunch rush. We were seated almost immediately upon arrival. My wife ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a Diet Coke. I ordered the Caesar Salmon Salad. My first surprise was when I attempted to order a delicious, tasty beer and was informed that there was no beer or wine available, but I could order cocktails. The server didn't know why that was the case, but I did wonder why. The beer licenses are granted by cities in Tennessee and not the state, so maybe the beer license is a work in progress? (Hint: Remove the table topper.) My wife's cheeseburger was very good, but the pile of French fries on the plate was just slightly warm and she only ate a few of them. We pointed this out to the server and she offered to get fresh fries for my wife, but since we were done eating we declined. The server had walked by quickly moments before and gave us a perfunctory "Is the food OK?" but she was out of earshot before my wife could respond. This indicates to me that the server doesn't like asking the question because she's afraid to hear the answer. My salad was very good, but this had the smallest piece of grilled salmon I have ever encountered in a restaurant in the United States. Lacking a scale, I can say it was smaller than the frozen salmon you buy at Sam's Club and I estimated it was a 6-ounce portion. It was well-cooked and tasted good but it just looked a mite skimpy. The dressing in which the salad was tossed was very tasty. Also I must note that when the server brought the salad, she announced that there were no croutons available. It wasn't the end of the world. At the end of the meal, we paid the check and got the $5 discount. As we left, we noted that the whole facility just looks tired and in need of a refreshing, but this may be difficult under current business conditions. We don't plan to come back here. read more

After a very disappointing experience at another eatery, I contacted Logans to see if they could accompany our large party of 15.  They checked with management and they said they could.  While my son was a little disappointed it was not his first choice, he was just happy our family was coming together to celebrate his 18th birthday.   When I walked in the hostess was on it.  Let the waitress know and also set up our area for us to have dinner.  When 9 of our party arrived they sat us.  We were instantly brought hot yeast rolls, also our drink orders were taken.   Mandy (Amanda on the receipt) was absolutely AMAZING!!!  She balanced our party with her other tables and no one complained (which there is one in our party that is a little hard to please lol).  The food was so good and when there was an issue, she took care of it beautifully.
