Shon was the highlight of the night .. She was funny and helpful and fast !! no sooner than I turned my back she had our mixed drinks , my water and the Dr. Pepper refilled. The food was very hot when it came out and the service is always good. . We enjoyed mixed drinks from the bar; the bartending team delivered creative, well-balanced slushies better tha any 711 in the country. Despite being busy, the place stayed clean and vibrant., a little dim /dark for my taste as the menus were hard to read without a cell phone light. Tables were cleared promptly, restrooms were on point and the whole energy was upbeat without being chaotic. It felt like a well-run, welcoming spot where the manager and staff clearly cared about your experience. First time coming to this location with a business partner, we sat at the bar as the wait was around 20 minutes on a Sunday evening around 8pm. I got the Portobello Mushroom Chicken which was very good and exceeded my expectations. Business partner ordered the Herb Crusted Chicken which he could not atop talking about so I guess that is something I would like to try next time. 2nd time we've been here and again NOT impressed! I ask for salmon, totally unseasoned with broccoli and a baked potato, the baked potato was wonderful, but the broccoli was uncooked and the salmon was overly seasoned. I requested a new piece of salmon that took over 20 minutes, and my husband was already done with his meal still waiting. I asked for the supervisor he came out. We visited Texas Roadhouse on a Friday around 4pm. We did beat the rush, but we're disappointed when the server tried to seat us in a booth with steak fries and other food on the floor and a booster seat still in the booth. When we looked around to see our other options we were surprised to see a couple other booths with the same dirty floors underneath. However once seated we were greeted by an enthusiastic server who did a great job. The food was very good, but we wondered if the front of the house looks like this what does the food prep area look like? A couple was seated soon after in the booth with the food on the floor. They didn't seem to notice. The business was slow at the time and we couldn't understand why no one had a broom to clean the area the entire time we were there. Just walked out (party of 2) after waiting 40mins when we were quoted 20mins. Many large parties that arrived after us were seated repeatedly. We asked why that was and were met with silence and blank stares from the teenage hostesses. One of them asked for our name again, but there was no further information or apology offered to us. We had a party of nine so I tried to join the waitlist. The website said for a party this large I had to call. I called the phone number sat on hold for 25 minutes and then was hung up on. So we drove to the restaurant went inside and was told our party was so large we should have waitlisted. I explained what happened and the girl said they don't really answer those calls and they wouldn't be able to seat us u til approximately 8:30 it was 5:30 at the time. She said next time call. I drove from Russellville Ky to Clarksville Tn to enjoy a good meal but what started as a good time ended realy bad. We showed up at the location at 6:45 and got on the waiting list 30 to 40 min wait. We get a text 7:50 our table is ready we go in the host looked lost we told her we got a text to come in it took her a min to pull up our reservations .When she finds it she tells us to wait someone will call us.. Great customer service...good for any occasion or no occasion at all. I thought there was only one restaurant with the blooming onion, but there are 2 (are they related). They have a veggie plate on the menu where you can choose 4 sides. I think the prices are perfect and the green beans are cooked in . My god this food is terrible. I ordered BBQ chicken which would seemingly be a simple order but apparently not due to the quality of the chicken they are using. The chicken was like rubber to chew and inedible. I thought maybe the first bite was just a bad one since it was off the edge of the chicken until I took the 2nd bite. I had to spit it into a napkin it was so disgusting. I didn't want to complain but the waitress asked why I didn't eat it and I told her. She said they recently switched types of chicken and that they had gotten several complaints regarding this new chicken due to it being so rubbery. It was literally like chewing the fat off of a steak. I will say our waitress was wonderful and did a very good job but the food overall was extremely poor. My first time at a Texas Roadhouse and I enjoyed it very much. We had a couple gift cards and wanted to use them. I've heard great things about this place and they did not disappoint. Our server was friendly and attentive. Social distancing was observed and there was a short wait. We sat in our warm truck and looked at the menu drooling and we already knew what we wanted, ordered and was done in about 30 minutes. We both had steak and shrimp. Came here on a Monday night and got seated immediately. Started with their warm rolls and amazing butter. Ordered two large Shiner Bock beers and me and my date both ordered the 6oz sirloin off the early dinner menu. I had a Caesar salad and chili for my Sides and my date had chili and French fries. Our waiter was great, checking in the right number of times and was very friendly. Is was a great dinner out! Texas Roadhouse always does me right! This trip my partner and I ordered a few things..we started with fried pickles, which are crispy and salty, and a cactus blossom. Both are good, I prefer the pickles over the onion. Their salads for me, are top three for a chain restaurant. Never shy on the toppings and the croutons are great. Not sure why I tried it again. The rolls were good. The ranch is decent. But it seemed our waitress didn't want to be bothered from the first approach. They were pretty busy that day but her attitude was apparent from the first interaction. Had the road kill which was really good, although the potatoes & gravy were not. I wish they would offer regular butter along with the cinnamon- I hate cinnamon anything. I did ask for regular & that took forever to receive. Our meals took a long time to come so not sure if kitchen was behind or not as nothing was communicated to us. My daughters burger bun was soaked with grease/oil and when we told the waitress she seemed uninterested & didn't give a dang. Something kept dripping on my daughter from ceiling area. This location stays busy, apparently. As far as middle of the road, family dining chain steakhouses go, Texas Roadhouse is (IMO) a step up from Applebees and the like and maybe a step below Outback and the like. This location has friendly service and fair prices. The appetizer options are generally good and the drink specials decent. I haven't eaten here regularly in recent years, but based on my most recent visit (selected by a dining partner I was meeting), they can cook a steak to order fairly well. I love Texas Roadhouse, but not this one. I have dined here a few times trying not to let just one bad experience ruin the whole place but at this point I've lost so much $ coming here I won't do it. The food is never consistent. You might get what you expect from a Texas Roadhouse or you might get meat from a dead carcass from out back. I will also add that I no longer crave the (normally) delicious rolls anymore. I have never seen them baked the correct way here. They're ALWAYS burned and dry. Who doesn't even want the rolls from a TRH?! That's how bad it is here. The killer rib appetizer was so stiff and dry I couldn't rip the ribs apart with my hands. It would have needed a knife. The steak is never cooked how you want it. I order medium and usually get well done. If you want to order a to-go, unfortunately you need to be that person that stands right there and opens up every box accounting for everything you ordered because it won't all be there. Don't even bother with a tip because they don't do their job. Got the sirloin and ribs combo only to discover when I got home I literally had no ribs and was missing a side. - the best part about missing the ribs was when I called and spoke to the manager (she has blonde hair that's usually in a side braid and always has a hat on, she's the worst and rarely talks to you directly. You have to have the bartender or someone be the middle man bc you're not good enough for her time.) and when I said I was missing the half rack of ribs that came with the combo all she did was correct me that it's not half a rack that comes with the combo it's like 4 ribs or something?? The point was I had no ribs not how many there is supposed to be wth. She says she's going to email you a coupon but nothing ever comes. You tell them this and they just say it's in your spam (it's not) This was not the only instance I tried to get to-go food and they're missing a bunch of stuff. The bathrooms are disgusting.
