I haven't been to this red lobster in years! But while visiting my mom and I stopped by for dinner. The ambiance was like any other red lobster dim lighting, spacious, and this one was pretty clean. We came during shift change so our wait time and service time was a bit long but the waiter was pretty efficient. I got the lobster linguine and my mom got the surf and turf. I'll start with saying my meal was amazing. The lobster ratio to pasta ratio was spot on. The lobster itself was cooked wonderfully, the sauce was really good and not too overpowering. I also tried their new snowglobe sangria which was delicious I would definitely recommend trying it especially if you like sweet drinks. However, my mom was not too thrilled with her meal. She got mashed potatoes and broccoli as her side. She didn't finish her broccoli as it was too salty for her and she ended up sending her steak back. She asked for medium well which she got but it was extremely tough! The manager handled the situation well and replaced her steak with a medium cooked one (we ended up taking that to go so not too sure how it ended up turning out yet lol) The only thing she enjoyed was the lobster tail and mashed potatoes. I just ordered from red lobster for the first time since moving out here and could not be more appalled. I almost want to go to my credit card company and report fraud for this order. 16 dollar shrimp and 14 dollar ceasers salad from red lobster. Horrendous prices for side size portions. Not to mention the shrimp are firmer, larger, and cheaper at panda express. This is borderline disrespectful delivering this to a customer. The " 13 dollar stuffed mushrooms" came with 6 baby mushrooms with cheese and breadcrumbs on top. Look at the photo with my hand for comparison reasons. And the new cheddar bay shrimp worked out to 2 dollars per shrimp.... For some soggy ass fried shrimp. I cannot speak on the crab legs I was told were fisher than used to others in my house ordered. The 8 dollar " baked potato" seemed like a horrible deal too. The chicken strips platter was actually a good value for the quantity but it's freaking Tennessee, you can get chicken strips on any corner here. Calamari was also decent. TLDR: 2 OF MY 12 items were decent. Make sure to bring lube before you try to eat at this location, 1/2 ass quality and portions worse than some fast food chains at steakhouse prices. read more

SURPRISED! That's no lie! With all the news about bankruptcy, backed with a horrible experience that last time going to this Red Lobster, I was worried. First off, the service was excellent. Our waiter was hilarious. Mixing good service with a little humor made for a great experience. The setup has not changed but was very clean. Same feels every RL gives. It's actually similar to an item they used to have on the menu, with just different pasta (I think what they used to have was called chef's pasta, with all the same items and sauce). At first it seemed weird (sandwich & mash) but I upgraded my side to the lobster mashed potatoes and I wish I would've got a double! I love Red Lobster, I truly do. I've been in several in a couple of different states, and the quality and customer service is pretty consistent...BUT... I'm a Red Lobster premium member and was given special access to All You Can Eat Shrimp earlier this month before it was open to the general public. I started out with a couple of skewers of grilled shrimp and some parmesan shrimp scampi. Both were delicious! The sides, the lobster mashed potatoes (mostly langostino which is NOT lobster, btw) and the soy ginger glazed brussel sprouts were terrific as always. You lost me on the Argentinian Red Shrimp when you butterflied them, and put them on the skewer with the entire shell still attached. I spent a good 5 minutes hacking up shrimp shells because, you know, forewarned is forearmed, and I wasn't fore-anything'd. Anyway, I was back yesterday, ordered the same as before: grilled shrimp and parmesan shrimp scampi. The scampi was really good, just as expected. What I wasn't expecting was one single, solitary, lonely skewer of grilled shrimp. What the hell happened to two skewers to start out with? I didn't think that was cool, so off came a star...well, two stars because I felt royally (the other word for cheated.) I also had the shrimp linguini alfredo, which was good. There was really nothing that made any of these dishes stand out. Throwing some parmesan cheese and a few pieces of chopped bacon does not a new and exciting dish make. Y'all are phoning it in, RL. You want better star ratings? You need to step up your game, and stop playing them. Oh, I'll probably be back for another go at Endless Shrimp before it disappears at the end of November. I'll be keeping a close eye, and I'm not afraid to update my review, either up or down. Let's see if I can go up on your rating. As if annoyed we had been standing there waiting. We asked if we could sit at the bar and he said, "at the bar is okay but all the tables are dirty". The bathroom was filthy. We dined in at Red Lobster yesterday and during our meal, a party of 4 was seated directly next to us and they both walked in carrying DOGS. They sat the dogs in the booth chairs and be mindful our seating on one side was connected to that same booth. Our 9 yr old son is allergic to dogs and he got up and moved to the individual seats on the other side of our table to move away from the dog. We heard their waitress say, "Oh yeah, those are my regulars." We notified the manager and he said that service dogs were allowed and we informed him that these were indeed not service dogs. I myself am a disabled vet and I am eligible for a service dog and I informed him that actual service dogs are to be on the floor, on a leash and require identification. These 2 dogs had none of the such. The party of 4 placed the dogs in between them on each side of the table to attempt to hide them. The manager said that he would address them so we watched from our vehicle to see what he would do. We saw him casually glance into the seating area and go back out. I went back in to let him know hat they were hid between them and where to look. Our waiter met me and said hey he was confused as to why the dogs were allowed in also. He got the manager for me and he said he was looking and didn't see them and would go back. Once again we watched from our car to see him address the situation, but we simply saw him approach the table and say a few words and take the empty bread basket away. He did not address the dogs at all. In our opinion he was afraid to let them know that dogs at the dining table was unacceptable. We would like follow up on this issue. read more

My family came within the hr of closing so I can understand if somethings were delayed. Luckily, the service was great. Everything came out within great timing. The bread was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The cheddar biscuits melted on your tongue savory taste of cheese, butter and herbs. The best thing actually. Everyone's meal tasted good but not like those DAMN BISCUITS! My only downfall of was my filet/steak... refer to picture. I thought it had a little pink when I first cut it due to the dim light but it wasn't. The more I cut the more I noticed it was WELL done. I'm not big on negative reviews, I'd rather sing praises than sling mud. But this was a dismal experience I'd rather not repeat again. Basic setup; wife and kid like seafood, and I don't, but Red Lobster can normally turn a decent steak, so ... let's do it. I order the Filet Mignon, 6 oz of premium beef, medium rare, and ask for a salad and green beens. Informed they have no tomatoes or cucumbers for the salad (good looking out, I'll sub something, no worries .... mashed 'taters). The food comes out, the kid gets her seafood, and the partner has her lobster pizza (which includes tomatoes). Where'd them maters come from, hmmm ? I get my plate, and immediately I notice cut-marks on the top of my steak. Someone cut into the middle of my steak, WTF !? Bite my tongue. Time to get down to eating, I've got no steak knife. I wait. Get bored. Drink my beer and watch the family eat. Wife reminds me that I can eat the sides, so I do. Eat the mashed taters, green beans and drink all the beer before I see our server again; when they show up it's just my dry glass and a 6 oz of steak left in front of me. Ask for a steak knife, and another beer. Several (several) minutes pass, and they show up again with drinks (I do NOT blame service for bar business) ... and no steak knife. I finally got a steak knife, right before we got the bill and to-go boxes .... and how was the medium-rare filet mignon ? (Adjusting for the fact that it was well-rested right in front of me for 30 minutes, and battle-scarred before it got served). Bland. Got lightly seared, and overcooked in the oven, probably waiting for the rest of the table. Frankly a terrible experience, and the ONLY reason it's 2-stars is the spouse and the kid liked their food ... Not sure what is going on here at this location, but the restrooms were once AGAIN in desperate need of attention, our waitress was sweet but either did not write my order down correctly or the cooks in the back can not read. We ordered house salads with ranch on the sides....our salads looked like they used the nights' before lettuce, had 1 small piece of a tomato in it , a few croutons and was floating in the dressing. I asked for the mashed potatoes with my shrimp but was given a baked potato...did not complain because we had already been there over 1.5 hours waiting on our food. Not a good night for Red Lobster. We don't go there very often, but I always remember going as a child and wanted my kiddo to try the place out for the first time. We got in after a 20 min wait even though it was only 5:30 on a weekday and very few people were there - we did have a larger group of 9. Service was decent, but my entree was forgotten, so I just cancelled it. My dads crab legs were super delayed after his entree arrived.. Couple folks from my group noted their food was either cold or like warm. The samples I stole from the wife's plate were pretty good and so where the crab legs, but my dads crab legs tasted pretty fishy and we don't think they were cooked all the way. Red lobster is not like it used to be. really greasy food. lots of expensive stuff and not as good as it used to be. The flavor and taste is so bland. I don't wanna have to season my own food. I want to just enjoy it. It should come out of the kitchen well, seasoned where you don't have to go crazy with salt and pepper. maybe it's just me I don't know. Our family made advance reservations to celebrate my grandson's 16th birthday this year. He chooses Red Lobster in Clarksville often. Our dinner party consisted of nine family members. The restaurant wasn't very busy or filled with many diners. Our server named Catalina tried to do her best. The service was slow. We ordered two appetizers. The fried Calamari with dipping sauce. It was good. The second appetizer was warm artichoke dip and was served with tortilla chips. I thought that was an odd pairing. I ordered the Coconut shrimp with dipping sauce. The sauce wasn't that good plus it should have been served in a larger bowl because the shrimp was huge. I also ordered the baked potato. It wasn't baked throughly. The steamed broccoli was OK but, there wasn't any salt or pepper shakers on our table. We had to ask for extra salt and pepper, napkins, etc. I ordered the strawberry lemonade. It was delicious. We shouldn't have had to spend our extra time there asking for extra table items. I have dined in four star restaurants from coast to coast in the United States and on several vacation islands. Our previous service was much better and so was the food. Being consistent in food quality and service is crucial for a restaurant chain like Red Lobster to succeed. Red Lobster is pretty much the same wherever you go. I haven't been to one in years but this one like the others has some really solid to great options and some meh ones. We enjoyed everything we ate, particularly (as always) the cheddar bay biscuits. The all you can eat soup and salad option here is quite a bit heavier and more filling (that can be good or bad depending on your preference) than the one at Olive Garden (for example) because the soups are heavier and the salads are too. The Lobster Bisque is pretty great though, particularly with a hot biscuit. The appetizer was just barely warm and when asked to return it to heat up they stuck the whole plate in the microwave and then when the chips came back they were all stuck together. the dinner was just as bad the lobster was rubbery and cold and the shrimp scampi was luke warm also.
