I like this place, I prefer during the week when it's nice and quiet. Today I ordered the sliders, perfect for me because they are small, and just has meat, cheese and a slice of pickle. I always add mayo to mine. The fries are always delicious, that I ordered some to go. My friend was disappointed though, upon opening her burger she spotted a black hair on the melted cheese. The waiter brought her a new one, but it shouldn't have to take 20-25 minutes for a remake. My complaint was the men's restroom! For not being crowded on a Thursday evening it was a dirty mess! The toilets and floors were dirty, the toilet seats were wobbly, and this was in both stalls. The sinks were dirty and clogged, water all over the place and floor. The trash was full as well. Now I checked the restroom checklist and H. Braga or Fraga did a poor job at whatever they are supposed to do. He or she signed it at 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm, I was in there at 6:45 pm. I know within 15-20 minutes the trash would not have gotten that full! This person didn't do anything to that restroom. The manager on duty needs to do a better job in keeping that restroom clean, and not as dirty as the Loves or Flying J Truck Stop restroom. I will attach a screen capture of the checklist. read more

Stopped by for dinner with my mom on saturday night. I ordered the shrimp stack salmon which is one of my faves, and it never fails! It was so good, the shrimp and the salmon were both seasoned perfectly. My mom ordered the Teriyaki Glazed Chicken, and of course I had to try it as well. The chicken was so well cooked and tender, it was juicy. The pineapple and the teriyaki glaze complement each other so well. And of course, we couldn't, leave without trying dessert. We had the Margarita cheesecake, and it was also very delicious. All in all we had a great time. The service was great, out server was very attentive to us. And the ambiance was very relaxed and we felt very comfortable there. Would definitely visit again! read more

Went for my birthday dinner and the food took forever to come out but we could hear the kitchen staff laughing it up. When the food came out my mushroom Swiss burger was flavorless and our fried pickles were soggy. We also asked the waiter for our complimentary bread and he said "I'll bring it out but you're not gonna finish it". Since when is that the staffs problem? The bread and fried pickles were pretty good, but the steaks were super dry and rubbery, they also didn't have the best flavor. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were ok. The food also took about 30 minutes or longer to be brought out. Won't be returning, and do not recommend. read more

While I have witnessed some of the lax customers service that others have complained about at Logans, I'm not sure they deserve a 2 average rating though. I myself have witnessed the employees standing around and chatting and slow service at the bar. BUT, the kitchen has always really come through for me with fast delicious food. When I am visiting El Paso, it is usually just me at Logan's, so I opt for no waiting at the bar. I usually have my mug of beer while waiting for my food. Honestly, most of the time, the food came out so fast, I've hardly had a chance to drink my beer! This last visit, I had a Ribeye steak. And just like my last visit, it was perfectly cooked, delicious and seasoned better than most other places I've been. In addition, I have been to other middle-of the road steakhouses that charged $50-$70.00 for the same steak. It's nice enjoying dinner without breaking the bank! My meal came with a Caesar salad and baked potato, both very good! I even added grilled shrimp to give my meal a surf and turf flair! I didn't finish my steak, so bought an extra baked potato to take home and had a second delicious meal to enjoy later! Last, I decided to take their peach cobbler home to my wife. OMG, it was so good! One recommendation there. When I ordered it to go, they did not include the ice cream that was supposed to come with it. I asked the server and was told that it would just melt. Yes, of course it will if you place it on top of the hot cobbler! I asked if they would place it in a separate Styrofoam container and they accommodated my request. And, it did make it home freezing cold 25 minutes later, even in the midst of summer. I would recommend the severs offer that option in the future rather just excluding the ice cream without the customers knowledge. I'm really glad that I asked for it. Last Friday around 7:00 pm, the service was terrible. It took 25 minutes for a server to greet us at our booth and take our drink orders. Before that, I tried making eye contact with several employees who were chatting behind what appeared to be the mobile pick-up desk. I even gestured to get their attention a few times, but they were too absorbed in their conversations and phones to notice. By the time our waitress finally arrived, we were about ready to leave. We already knew what we wanted and placed our order right away. From that point on, the service improved, though it was hard not to notice the same girls looked like they were on break the entire time my husband and I were there. I sat at the bar however the bartender did not know the menu very well as i ask what was the soup of day but she didnt know what the potato soup had. She didnt say it had onions. Yuck. Came to Logan's for lunch today. We arrived around 12:35pm or so and the visit started off alright . We were greeted at the door by a few servers and were sat right away. We got our drinks and rolls quickly but that was about it . Our server was able to take our order in a timely manner but then the wait was too long for what was ordered . Not only was the wait long but my order was wrong so we had to wait longer. We were able to leave around 2:00pm. I had only eaten my fries (which were kinda soggy) and took my other food to go due to the long wait. Most of the servers were hanging out in the kitchen or by the bar area which seems a bit unprofessional. Some were talking , eating , etc. We barely were checked on after our order went in and there was not much communication about how long the wait was going to be. I believe the manager attempted to come check on us after a while . He was nice but I think it'd be great to have a serious look at how the shift is ran. This visit could have been better if it was communicated that we'd have to wait a long time for the food and if the servers were checking on their guests more often. I did not really enjoy the service or food. I hope the management/owner will take a look at a few things that need to change and implement the changes. It would have been almost 7 years since stepping foot into Logans again. The first time was in TN and it was horrendous of an experience. We finally went again since my bestie wanted her last dinner in El Paso here. I liked the fact that they had a good happy hour menu to include a few bucks off their sirloin plate and very affordable margaritas. I had to try their Prickly Pear flavored one since it intrigued me. Hubby got the classic flavoted margarita. We also both got the 6oz sirloin plate plus an order of their potatoe skins and onion petals. The tater skins were good but just as expected for them. The onion petals were good but it was rather tiring from how oddly thick the cuts of onion was and made for an off flavor after awhile. The sirloin was great and i got mine smothered with grilled onions and mushrooms. I also got a side of corn and sweet potatoe, which i wish they would have specified comes with the marshmellow topping. The corn also had half the kernels dry as if it had been sitting out too long under heating lamps or reheated even. The hubby was also upset that he got a smothered baked potatoe instead of mashed potatoes like he ordered. Their mac n cheese also tasted bland and almost nothing like cheese at all, but instead like the canned cheese for nachos. Our server was good though which made up for all the other things off. Girlfriend and I wanted to have a date night and go somewhere besides our usual places so we decided to head over to the east side and go to Logan's! When we arrived, we were seated right away! Shortly after our waiter came to the table and took our drink and appetizer order, where we got the spinach and artichoke dip. When he brought out our drinks he also took our food order! He was a great waiter! Everything was brought out quick! My girlfriend got the shrimp stacked salmon and I got the ribeye! Everything was delicious! Service was slow but the friendliness of our two waitresses was nice. Food was good but honestly never got to my main course. My salad was never ending lol it was delicious and enjoyed it. Our server was amazing honestly if I saw her I would thank her a billion times, but when it came for the refills or picking up the plates we have to wait close to 3 hours to get a simple refill. I usually really enjoy the atmosphere at any Logan's...the wait staff is usually cheerful, friendly, and attentive. I stopped by mid afternoon and was promptly seated...and then I waited. For everything. Got bread after the menus were delivered, got a glass of water after the bread was delivered. Waitress stopped by once after delivering my food to check in, then right as I was finishing my food she stopped by to ask if everything was ok and it was ok. Steak was cooked correctly but was flavorless. I told her I was ready for the check. I finished my plate. Drank a whole glass of water and watched her deliver salads abs appetizers to two tables and then Join the huddle of servers around the carry out counter that were all on their phones and socializing with each other. I waited another 10 minutes after I said I want my check for her to come back to my table asking if she could take my dishes that were pushed away. I said yes, can I please get my check? This place is a sad example of a steak hi 2nd visit: Was given a $50 promotional card to make up for the last visit, and to give the establishment a second chance. 2nd time was worse than the first. This establishment should just retrain every employee there... starting with the cooks. The food was over cooked once again. Shrimp was served cold and over cooked and I would describe the texture close to that of rubber. The steak was flavorless and tiny. Our waiter let our drinks go empty for at least 2 times without refills for 10 minutes at the time. I found him hanging out by the ledge near the bathroom chit-chatting with another employee. Well Im not sure what is going on with the service industry but I guess overall it is on the decline and Logan's is not immune. I'm certain the wait staff at Logan's would not accept sub par service if the shoe was on thier foot. When you have to walk all the way to ask for refills and condiments and find your waitress laughing and socializing at the front desk it is disappointing to say the least. Terrible. Where do I begin? Ordered the steak cooked to 'medium'. Received it at well done, over cooked (see pic). The baked sweet potato was burned in the inside so I couldn't even eat the skin of the potato. Lastly, this was a pickup order. When I called from the parking lot to confirm at designated pick up time, the employee who answered told me it would be 20 more minutes; even though it had already been 30 minutes since I ordered online. I called a second time and the person that picked up the phone was giggling then put the phone on hold. When they did answer again, they told me it would still be 20 minutes because there are a lot of orders ahead of mine. Lo and behold, I went inside and within 1 minute of me notifying the front I was there for my order, they brought it out immediately. I will never return to this location. So we came to have dinner after a movie and the wait wasn't too too bad. We saw they offered prime rib and we're all excited until a waiter passed by, overheard us and informed us they were out . So my wife opted for the steak and shrimp with a veggie skewer and she said it was eh-aight...i ordered the triple platter (sausage, shrimp and wings) with sweet potatoe fries and it was ok, nothing to brag about. Our waitress was cordial and attentive so not all was lost. We did overhear the table next to us complain about under cooked grilled chicken, not once not twice but three times! Yikes!!!!! Don't even bother. I'd give this place a -1 if I could. Worse "roadhouse" I've been to. I agree with one of the reviewers. This place is a wannabe Texas Roadhouse that failed in ALL aspects. First off, ordered a Long Island and was told how great the in-house made Long Island is compared to the pre-made stuff. Guess what?! Horrible! Tasted worse than the $1 all you can drink at Applebee's. In fact, I would have been better with that, at least you expected it for $1, whereas here charges you like $8 for a completely less quality syrup Drink. Ordered fish and chips, guess again...it was worse than what you got in the freezer section. Matter of fact, it was premade frozen fish fillet batter...ok, for $12, I get it I am not expecting the best, but when I tell you that the filet-o-fish sandwich at McDonald's would have been 10x's better, that says A LOT! You could taste The oil it was fried in was days old and had that burnt stale reused oil taste. The chips and fish were burned and dark because it was clearly used old oil and the inside was still "cool", not even piping hot. Now I know that old oil will burn faster than it cooks, as to why the presentation of the fish was bad. Also, no tartar sauce, malt vinegar or lemon served with it?! Lastly, clearly I knew the waitress knew I was not happy with the meal...she kept staring at my plate as it was basically unfinished but had no issue to be like "ok, things are good?...here's the check" as if she didn't even want to address the fact that the plate was barely touched. I should have spoken up but not worth the hassle if they clearly didn't care to ask. You know what outcome that would have been. Also, it makes sense that they even are not proud of their food and are just there for tips as one of the other waitresses was telling the other customer seated next to me was that all she cared about was "getting more tables to serve for tips". Clearly quality isn't an issue. I didn't come here with any great expectations but I spent $72 and expected just decent food and got crap food. I ended up going to Panda Express afterwards because the food was horrible. Now you know, a $10 meal at a fast food place was much better than going here...so that speaks for itself. I would not even go back if they were offering free entrees. I'd advise to go to Outback or Cheddar's which is next door to this location. Came by on Sunday (11-06-23) for dinner and I have to say, it was great! I'm pleasantly surprised considering by previous experience. I was seated quickly by Maddie, and a waitress came by shortly and took my order. Over all she was very polite and friendly and gave a great suggestion for dinner. I ordered the Logans Wood-grilled chicken amd rice with a side of salad and steamed broccoli. The salad was fresh and the broccoli with cheese was absolutely delicious. I'm usually not too impressed with the steamed broccoli at other locations, but this was really great and I'll definitely be ordering it again. The chicken and rice was also really good. The chicken was very juicy and tender and the seasoning was perfect. Same with the rice; great seasoning and tasted great. Overall I had a great dinner that I really enjoyed.
