Disappointing, and more expensive than it's worth. Walking into a restaurant to be held hostage by some speech about a small store selling books inside the restaurant?! Yeah, don't do that. If we hadn't already ordered, we would have left. No refill on water, no inquiry about any other drinks. I wasn't even finished with my meal and the server slapped the check on the table and walked away. If that doesn't make you feel "welcome to leave", I don't know what does. Looking around, I find it unacceptable to bring food to the table 5 minutes apart for every person at the table. The staff now wears embroidered shirts with the restaurant logo (except for one, she was just chewing her gum while taking orders- also, ew), and the atmosphere has changed from casual to "we wanna be high end, we made some money so now we want you to pay more". Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. We went on Valentines day for dinner. The waitress had no good Customer service. She never took us the kids menu when she saw that we had two kids. We kept asking her if she had a kids menu and she would say she would have to go get it and never went. When she was taking our order she kept asking what our kids were going to get yet she never took us the kids menu. I had to ask her again about the kids menu and said she would have to go get it and i had to ask her to please go and get it. Once our food got there she never went to ask if we needed refills when we clearly did , i had to ask for refills , sugar for the unsweet tea and ketchup for the kids chicken tenders and fries one of my kids was almost done with his meal before he got his ketchup. We asked to also get us chiles toreados and never took it. We also had to ask for the bread and when she finally did it was when we were done eating and that was because i told her she never took them. The waitress made our Dinner so unpleasant ! I ordered a 6oz Sirloin and a Crab Cake dinner. The sirloin didn't have any type of flavor to it, other than being completely raw in the middle. To top it off, the presentation was messy. If this place stepped up on their service it would be a five all the way around. I would just sell the kitchen to take a little more care with the ribs as they definitely were overcooked.
