Came by on Sunday (11-06-23) for dinner and I have to say, it was great! I'm pleasantly surprised considering by previous experience. I was seated quickly by Maddie, and a waitress came by shortly and took my order. Over all she was very polite and friendly and gave a great suggestion for dinner. I ordered the Logans Wood-grilled chicken amd rice with a side of salad and steamed broccoli. The salad was fresh and the broccoli with cheese was absolutely delicious. I'm usually not too impressed with the steamed broccoli at other locations, but this was really great and I'll definitely be ordering it again. The chicken and rice was also really good. The chicken was very juicy and tender and the seasoning was perfect. Same with the rice; great seasoning and tasted great. Overall I had a great dinner that I really enjoyed. If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst restaurant ever. My family and I went for dinner. I ordered a sweet peach tea which tasted like disgusting dirty watered down unsweetened tea. I had to ask for almost 6 little cups of the peach flavor which didn't even help. The waitress even brought me regular sugar to fix it and nope. And the fact that thing is $4 was unacceptable. We ordered the onion petal appetizer which was disgusting as well. Just chunky pieces of onion with batter. The sauce was bitter as well. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye. It was such a poor cut of meat with NO FLAVOR at all. I told my server and all she did was bring me the seasoning for the steak. What was I gonna do with seasoning when the steak was already made???? I couldn't even enjoy the sides because I was already disgusted with the ribeye. The service was slow and it was like the server didn't know how to be a waitress. We were at the Joe Battle location. The service was horrible. It took 45 mins to gett served. It was a party of 6 people. Only one plate came out after 45 mins. Management was very questionable. Poor management skills. I had the remove the automatic gratuity. I told them that I was not paying the gratuity due to very poor service. read more

First time here after receiving a gift card from a coworker for Christmas. Husband and I arrived about fifteen minutes after they opened and immediately noticed an odd smell on the restaurant. Musty? I don't know, it wasn't that bad, but noticeable. We tried the peanuts on the table and found them dusty and stale. After four or five nuts each, we gave up on them (compared to Texas Roadhouse where we can't stop munching). Husband ordered the mozzarella sticks, which were passable. Not stellar, but good enough. He ordered the French dip with chips and they brought us some rolls. He found the chips so tasteless and bland that we only ate one or two. The sandwich didn't fare much better - after a couple of bites, he took the meat out of the sandwich and tried eating it by itself in the au jus. Still not much better - didn't even touch the second half. Honestly, the rolls were far and away the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, the rolls are ALSO better at Texas Roadhouse. This place is trying to be Texas Roadhouse and failing miserably at it. The restaurant smelled weird (not quite bad but there was a distinct odor comjng from somewhere in there) and it generally looked/felt run down. The wait staff were nice but service was surprisingly slow given how empty the place was. I had to drink my ice tea slowly because our waitress rarely made an appearance, I think she offered me a refill right before I asked for the check. Our appetizer was ok but it looked and tasted kind of like it was from the freezer section of the local grocery store. The highlight of the meal were the free rolls which they were also very stingy with (I've never seen a 4 top get 3 rolls). Even stuff like the peanuts on the table was frustrating because they tasted old and stale and for some reason no one thought to provide a bucket for trash, we had to ask for one ourselves. Do not come here if you have a peanut allergy since there is likely to be peanut dust everywhere. Finally my main course was terrible and I had the single worst potato chips I have ever had. The food was unseasoned and now it tasted like bad food from the freezer section. The chips were all in a weird clump and they were rock solid. What's worse is that they were cold and had clearly been made quite a while before they found their way to my table. All in all this was a dismal and depressing food outing and I will strongly advise my friends and familly to steer clear of. Basically if you are ever tempted by advertising for Logan's go to Texas Roadhouse. Everything about your dining experience will be better. read more

Went on a Saturday to celebrate my sons birthday on a day that was very much in need of customers. Our party was" too big " to accommodate? So maybe you should take reservations so that you can schedule more staff. If I was the owner and I found out the hostess/host was turning away business, I'd be livid. Anyone who knows me knows that I love a really good steak! Not mediocre, not so so, but really good grade A beef. I ve been to the best and to the worst and I have to say that this is the worst! I know steaks folks. No bull. One would think that you can't go wrong with steak in Texas, but not everything is Texas rosey. Where shall I start? They did not have the beer we wanted nor the wine? Then who runs out if prime rib 2 hours after opening?!? And this is a steakhouse?!! After my disappointment sets in I settle for the filet mignon with baked potato and broccoli. So sad. :(. Filet was part medium and part well done ( how that happens I don't know) But it was the toughest filet mignon I've ever had. Not to mention a baked potato that had 3 oz of sour cream and 2 bacon bits on top with skin that was harder than the sole of my boots. I definitely do not recommend this place for steak and would stick with Texas roadhouse instead. The only reason I gave this place the two stars was for the bread which is out of this world!! I would come back here just to have a cup of coffee and their fresh out the oven rolls that were fluffy like clouds and more delicious than any other bread I've ever tasted. Loved it there! Our waitress was super nice and everyone was just friendly. I got a steak with the side of fried zucchini. The steak was ok I ordered med. well but it was more well done. I was super hungry so I just ate it with some sauce and it was fine. my daughter had the kids meal Mac and cheese, apple juice and fries. This place is very kid friendly which I loved. The only reason I'm giving it a two stars was because our waitress was super nice even went out of her way to defend our appetizers that came out AFTER our main course meals... the food was horrid... were the type of couple that enjoy our meals and if we have left overs we take them with us ... not this time I felt bad for our server cus she had told us that the manager was going to come to our table and apologize for what had happened with our appetizers... We drove 7 hours to meet up with our family for dinner here, well we get there and as soon as we walk in the gentleman at the door tells us that we can't eat here. We asked why and he said they close soon. I pulled up the time online and it said 10p. We arrived at 8:17p and were told there was too many of us, they are closing soon and they will not be seating anyone else tonight. As we walked back to our vehicle, we noticed a party of 5 walk in, I decided to step over to see through the window if they would seat them. Well they did??? Currently sitting at the El Paso location as I write this. This is a big restaurant and less than half of the tables have people seated. We came here to celebrate my parent's anniversary and were extremely disappointed with the way we were received. My sister had spoken to someone this morning and made a reservation. When we arrived we were told that they don't take reservations which would have been fine but the young hostess was extremely rude. She didn't bother to check with anyone and just told us that it would be a 30 minute wait. Difficult to understand when the restaurant is so empty. We would have left but for some terrible reason my mom really likes this restaurant (unfortunately). We arrived at 7:00, we're seated at about 7:30, it is currently 8:40 and still have not received our dinner. The room where we were seated was cold. We asked our waiter (who was really nice!) if he could turn off the air conditioner. I think he tried because it would warm up for a few minutes but would then turn on again. I really enjoyed this restaurant. The second we walked into the door and greeted by Nick to our server Nicole making sure we received our order exactly how we asked. I had the bone in ribeye - medium rare, with a side salad , sweet potato and grilled jalapenos. Nicole recommended the watermelon tea which has watermelon juice and their moonshine.... Mmmm good. They deserve a solid three stars (which is my required minimum for an establishment if I am going to be a patron) because they are good, not exceptional but not terrible either. The ones I did receive were burnt to the point you need a hacksaw to cut. Poor quality all around. You here about things being bigger in Texas well they're right when it comes to poor quality because just about everything so far has been bad. I went earlier last week and I enjoyed the meal that I had but somehow my waitress kept going MIA i look over and she's talking , I'm on vacation so I didn't have that much time to spend so I constantly had to ask the same waitress for a box and silverware and extra bread .. all because my waitress wanted to talk to her co worker.. by the end of my visit I finally figured out her name was Alejandra by looking at the check but EVE helped me out and she's the only reason I'll ever return to this location .. although I was not her table she took the opportunity to help me and not even complain over it not being her table .. Wow.. This was an experience. I'll keep it short and sweet. I went with four people we all had salads, two of them were wrong. Our drinks came, I tried something new and "pointed to the picture" back to the salads. One wrong dressing, the other dressing was not put on the side as asked. "Onion tower"... What a joke, it was a couple onions not even half way up the stand thing they use. The reason that this place loses a star is due to the fact that every time I order a medium rare steak it comes well done. Every time. I wish they would hire a person who knew they're steaks. Logan's atmosphere is better than it's food, which is why I think the reviews aren't so hot. I'm a fan of their atmosphere, I'm not a "country" guy, but they've got TV's everywhere, the music is not overwhelmingly loud, there's free peanuts, and if you're at the bar the service is great. The food isn't spectacular, but I see people calling it a steakhouse and I don't think Logan's is a steakhouse, it is more akin to Applebees, the chicken is way better than the steak by the by. This is a good place to watch sports if you need a break from ear-blasting hip hop and MMA tough guys, and if some mediocre chain restaurant food is the price to pay, I'll gladly pay it. read more

I went to Logan's roadhouse once and it was one of the more nasty dining experiences of my life. I tend to care little about the atmosphere or even overall cleanliness of a place when it comes to good eats. But the food here was the horror story, it was really bad... I ordered fish because I hadn't had any for sometime and I was really curious if El Paso had a decent seafood place or at least a place that had decent seafood. There are places - this is NOT one of them. The fish I had had a texture that was somewhat similar to drywall, it flaked off dry when I prodded at it curiously with my fork. I'm not a complainer, it has to be a spectacularly bad meal for me to say anything. I'm talking roaches, although my rules for fast food are a little different. I really don't think I ever had or will ever have (I hope) fish like that ever again. I think this place is a chain so I'm not sure if it's this particular one or all of them but if you got here avoid the fish, I'm still not even really sure what it was.
