A Well-Oiled Machine Texas Roadhouse is one of my go-to restaurants when I'm travelling in the US. I like the food and the the quality seems to be consistent no matter which location you visit. The Grove City location is no different as the staff are well-trained, they can handle high volume and they seem to know the menu well enough to be able to answer any questions you may have. On this visit, I ordered some of my Texas Roadhouse favourites. I started with their Texas Red Chili which is always delicious and flavourful and a great starter. For the main course, I ordered a Texas-Size combo with a sirloin and grilled shrimp. The meal also came with fluffy mashed potatoes served with a massive amount of gravy and a side of steamed vegetables. The steak was cooked to a medium as I ordered and I liked the garlic bread that the grilled shrimp sits on. Overall another consistent quality meal from Texas Roadhouse. read more

The food was flavorful and fresh-- the rice was a bit mushy and the shrimp slightly overcooked, but still tasty I was big backing it down my throat. I'd give it an 8/10 and will definitely be back to sit in for service One suggestion: for safety and sanitary reasons, It would be better not to use plastic containers on top of the salad place then on the side. The to-go staff sometimes linger away from the window which can make the food colder and affect freshness. Also, I know having orders ready right on time is hard when the house is packed but we like freshness as well on the pick-up event smoother. It has been over 15 years since I've been to A roadhouse and it was about the same as I remember. Fast casual, with a bar like ambiance, and lots of steak choices. I like that they have the steak in the window so you can see what you're ordering. Wait staff was pretty accommodating however having the bill receipt station on your table the entire meal is a turn off. Regardless, opted out on bread because my husband is celiac and I don't need four rolls. Got the filet which was cooked as requested but lacked salt and flavor. I hate using the steak sauce but when I tried it was too tangy, not like A1 which was my expectation. Baked potato and salad were good. My husbands ribeye was also cooked as requested but similar feedback on flavor. The green beans were in a vinegar base and mushy so we would pass there but the loaded potato was great. Lastly every table had an advertisement hanging over your head. Clever to make a few more bucks but brought the ambiance down more. Enjoyed a delicious lunch with friends. Everything was delicious and drinks never went empty. Our server was on top of things and the only mistake was adding shrimp to one of the meals. My son wanted to go to dinner for his birthday, so we stopped in after I got off of work Saturday night. It was a couple hours before close, and we were sat very quickly and both of our servers (first was cut) were fantastic! The team came and sang to him and he loved it! They were slammed tonight but that is to be expected on a Saturday. My only issue is they have no wifi and the cell service in this area is atrocious. It took a little over an hour, but we did sign in via app to help before leaving home (but we did have to tell the host about the zero cell service because we never received a text probably due to the cell service). The food was pretty good. We were please with flavor and quantity/size. Our waitress was mediocre, on top of it but not overly friendly though. We wondered if she had had a bad day or was flustered with the crowd? Overall, it was a good experience. The food was great and the cinnamon butter for the rolls are BEYOND amazing! This is our go to place when we get to go out. It's almost always good and we each have our favorite meals. I felt so terrible last night and would like to apologize. My dinner came out and the steak was really really rare. I ordered med well and it's usually perfect, not as dry as well done and no red blood on the plate. I have an extremely hard time with things like blood and it kind of threw me in to a panic so I want to apologize. She took my steak back to put it back on but there was still so much blood on the plate. The bread had soaked it up and it was all over the shrimp. I tried to sop it up with a napkin so I didn't cause more issue but it really was just too much. She took it back and they made another plate but by the time it came out my husband was finished and I had grossed myself out enough with the blood bread that I asked her to cancel it. It was too late, the manager was on his way out with it. I felt terrible. But he was very nice and boxed it up for me. He said, "I just want to make sure that you get dinner" and that was very nice of him. It made me feel a ton better and I appreciated it! read more

Cordial service and good food = 4 stars. The stars of the meal were the rack of fall-off-the-bone pork ribs, and the oven rolls with whipped sweet cream butter. Portions were good, especially for the fried pickles and the ribs (and refills on rolls too). The only negative was that a few of the items were a bit too salty. It was the first time we visited Texas Roadhouse since the pandemic. Many things have been changed. One big change we noticed right away was that there were big buckets of peanuts and no peanuts shells everywhere. In some way it was much cleaner but somehow it feels like it lost some character. The service was super attentive and friendly. Food came out just the right timing. We had 6 oz sirloin and full rack of ribs. The sides were chili, steak fries and baked sweet potatoes. The staff here truly care about your experience and try their hardest to make sure each time you dine with them you are satisfied. The food is always of great value- when you want a good steak this is a great place to go without spending a ton of money They are always busy! I think there's a reason why. Serve a ribeye that has some meat on it. My piece was supposed to be cooked medium. However it was mostly raw with small areas of meat. It was so fatty and undercooked I could barely cut it with a steak knife. This steak dinner was a gift from my husband so I was not going to complain about it in his presence. It was my birthday so my wife let me get the cactus blossom. 2200 calories but fried to perfection, some sort of rattlesnake dipping sauce was $. Rolls are always a delight. Ordered takeout. I picked it up immediately as I was staying at the hotel in the same parking lot, definitely was not legendary food. And the service was sub par. Girl at Togo window wasn't very happy with me when I looked through my bag and asked for a new cheese cake as it was missing part of the crust and was mangled. Then I go to eat my food, ribs were cold on the inside, like not reheated enough, and the chicken seemed like they had precooked and ready to go and was not hot either. Brown gravy on the mash was horrible and I know they do lumpy mash but I had like half a whole potato and the potatoes were even warm and the gravy was disgusting. I called the manager said he would email me a voucher. That never happened as I paid cash and he looked at the order himself. Still now refund. Went out to Texas Roadhouse in Grove City today for lunch. Ordered the Pulled Pork dinner, got a Baked Potato and a side salad with French dressing. You get a massive amount of pulled pork with BBQ sauce on it. It was really tasty. The Baked potato just came out of the oven, super hot and delicious with butter and sour cream on it. The side salad was of good size and had a good amount of ingredients PLUS they are on of the few places that have Honey French dressing. Yummmy. Our waitress was Molly and she was off the chart. Checked on us a number of times and refilled drinks appropriately. Now for the bad, those rolls. We received a gift card for Christmas so we decided to go last weekend. We arrived around 4 PM on Saturday and the place was packed! No wait for our booth, we were promptly seated. Service was fantastic, these employees busted thier butts and you could tell they all worked really well as a team. The food was great! I had a bone in ribeye. rice and a side salad. The prime rib and steak were cooked to absolute perfection and so moist and juicy they tasted amazing. The baked potatoes were baked to perfection and tasted great. The salads were beautifully prepared and you could tell they were very fresh by the crispness to the lettuce leaves. Experience: Our overall experience was great. We had an amazing time. The staff for great and the food was phenomenal. Ombiance: It can be loud depending on where you setting and what games are on tv but overall it's a very relaxing ombiance.
