Went for lunch Friday. We both got salads. The lunch prices for salads are over priced. When did it become ok to spend $10 for a small bowl of salad. I got the Caesar chicken salad. It was good. As always the food was good and the service was good. But the music is loud and horrible. You used to be able to choose music in the juke box. But they changed it and all that plays now is atrocious new country. I told the manager it was a huge turnoff and she told me she didn't care, there was nothing she could do about and it was all because of corporate. For this reason I will never come back to Logan's. I'm a very musically minded person and the music was so bad and loud it kept me from enjoying my meal. And the callousness of the manager was the nail in the coffin. When they 1st brought it out it was medium rare I asked for medium. 2nd time "Perfectly cooked" and it was a different filet they didn't try to recook there first one . Had dinner at Logan's tonight. Got there around 6, waited in the bar area, ordered a large draft beer. The mug was hot, beer not very cold. We were seated shortly after. I drank about a fourth of the beer then sent it back and ordered a bottle & cold glass. It took almost 20 minutes to get my beer. Long enough we had ordered zucchini fries and ate them before my beer made it to the table. I ordered prime rib and they were out @ 6:20 on Saturday . Are you kidding me?? 6:20 on Saturday evening? Changed my order to a ribeye which was ok but not great. We did speak to the manager and got the warm beer off our bill. Probably won't go for dinner again. I've been to Logans several times for lunch & never had an issue. read more

We just moved to Missouri from Las Vegas and happened upon your restaurant. All four of myself and my family members have different favorites so we each got something different. Everything was so good. My daughter loves the broccoli and those rolls are absolutely yummy! Great steaks and chicken. The only complaint is the guys would like a bigger beer selection. Lol. Ate here on Saturday, Aug.1 for dinner. there were 4 steaks ordered total and 3 kids meals. one steak that was ordered medium well came out bleeding, one steak ordered medium came out over done and tough as shoe leather, and one steak which was a ribeye came out with butcher paper complete with red ink cooked into it! we asked to see a manager and it took her(Lupe) 20 minutes to get to our table. Lupe replaced the steaks that were not cooked properly but refused to give any kind of discount on the ribeye that had the paper cooked into it, but Lupe made the server tell us this instead of she herself coming back to the table. Our server was excellent and received a generous tip, but I will never go back to this Logan's based on the actions of management. read more

I had heard they had shut and reopened under new owners. Because of this I was willing too give them another shot after being disappointed so so many time in the past. Well things have really changed since reopening. Somehow they managed to get worse then before. Food was overpriced, terribly cooked, and service is nonexistent. We have eaten here many times over the past year. Always, without exception, the service has been outstanding! In fact, we usually walk out of there talking about it! The servers and manager always check in on you, they are on top of everything. Once, I mentioned to my family (not to the server) that I wasn't wild about my chili, and my comment must have been overheard, because next thing I know, the manager is at the table offering to get me something else. They are always gracious and helpful. Plus, very good food, comfortable atmosphere with the peanuts and excellent fresh baked bread, plus sweet potato fries which are awesome. They have a 2-meal deal that is a pretty good value and enough food you can take half home and make another meal of it! read more

I've eaten here many times with family and girlfriend since they have opened and I've always been satisfied. It tends to be expensive for a teenager like myself, but it's worth it. The fact that you have buckets of peanuts when seated and shells spread across the floor makes it a one of a kind spot. The complimentary rolls are all the appetizer that you need as you wait on your food.(does take a little while to get your meal) There steak and sirloins are great, girlfriend loves the salad and mushrooms. I tend to get there chicken strip dinner that comes with chicken strips and two sides for $10.99 and is what I believe is the best deal for the amount of food. I end up taking most home. Their sides are great. The homestyle mashed potatoes with brown gravy are my favorite and are a must upon each arrival. I tend to very with my second side between the mac and cheese and fries. Not old enough to drink, but my parents are pleased with there beer selection. I love there sweet tea. Will keep coming here. Great scenery, and music. read more

As soon as the tornado hit Joplin, MO, I packed up a few things and drove in from Oklahoma City to help with the many friends that were affected. I can't put into words a suffice description of the devastation that hit Joplin, but I can share some words describing how HUGE of a heart Logan's Roadhouse exhibited. I helped in the search an rescue the day after, witnessing things that will stay with me the rest of my life. The next day I helped some former colleagues gather up everything that was salvageable from their houses that were completely destroyed. At that time, it was hard not to loose your faith, through witnessing the pain and destruction that the tornado cause. It must have been around lunch time that second day when i looked up from the ruble to see a young gentlemen carrying a box of Logan Roadhouse hamburgers and a young lady carrying a case of water in her hands. I stopped & started sobbing....sobbing for more a light of joy that came into my heart that completely vanquished all the destructive experiences from the past few days. Logan Roadhouse was one of the first restraurants that started voluteering/delivery for the many volunteers that were helping out with the Joplin tornado relief. I can't thank you enough for your LARGE HEARTS OF GIVING that day and the days that followed. As for the hamburgers...simply AMAZING! Thank you again for being such great givers! SJ read more

I have heard great things about this place for years and for my steps Dads 80th birthday he asked to go here. So being that we cam down for the holidays I figured I finally get to try to Logan's. The restaurant was fun atmosphere a little dated but fun. We had 6 of us and the food was, well, BAD. There were 2 6oz steaks that were no flavor and tough, there were 2 shrimp skewer meals and the shrimp were like little rubber balls. I had the 20 oz Ribeye and I am pretty sure my boot would have been more tender and edible. Lastly My wife had the 22oz Porter house and it was, Well we don't know it never showed up. I shared mine with her and she couldn't eat it either. They did come over after several times and said it was on the way, we were all done and still no steak. I was craving Texas Roadhouse but since we don't have one here, we went to Logan's Roadhouse. Epic Fail! The appetizers are full of grease and a lack of flavor. The food was cooked well done when we asked for medium and they messed up our order. Not to mention wait staff rarely checked on us. We won't be back. :( read more

Delicious, hot, fresh food... Comfortable atmosphere. Everything was served up piping hot, and the service was outstanding! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.... the server who delivered the meal asked that I cut into the sirloin steak to ensure that it was to my liking... Which it was. Loved it... My wife wanted to go here for our anniversary. So we went to the disappointment right from the start. The Hostess said we could only set at a table even though there were four booths in the section empty. The waitress came by and asked how we were doing and I said I would be better if I could set in a booth. So she moved us to one of the empty booths. Everything was going well right up til I criticized the my steak for having no flavor and so tough you couldn't hardly chew it( it was cooked medium well) my wife's looked like it had been under a heat lamp for 30 minutes(hers was cooked well). The response we got from the waitress was " its a sirloin" so I guess a sirloin is supposed to be tough, no flavor and burnt to a crisp. She also told me they put seasoning on it which apparently my taste buds never tasted. I explained to her I have ate at other Logans and they don't cook sirloin steaks with no flavor,don't burn a well done to a rock state and the sirloin has never been so tough you can't chew it. She gets attitude and ask if I want another steak and I kindly tell her no just bring the ticket. So she goes and get the manager because I am COMPLAINING TO MUCH. He comes out and ask if we want another steak and again I say no. I can't bring myself to order something after most of the staff is already not happy including the cook. The manager comps the steaks and we go on our way. I had 2 bites of the steak before I gave up. I will never step foot in there again. There are to many choices to choose from and from the locals Texas Roadhouse is better. I give credit to the manager but after the attitude from the waitress that is the only professional person that served us. read more

Friday night dinner with friends. I had tex-mex talapia and mucho enjoyed it. My wife had chicken fried steak and I'm having what's left of that for dinner tonight. She said it was great. We went to Logan's yesterday for a big family dinner. Our main waitress was very sweet and attentive. There was a backup waitress that kept sitting down at the table and talking. We thought at first she was just being polite but then she continued to sit at the table while we were eating. I'm not sure if she was on break or lunch but she sat at the table for the majority of the time we were there. She was rambling on about shopping and where she buys her children's clothing. It was very odd. Our meals: I wasn't very hungry so I ordered a side salad and an order of fried mushrooms. My salad was delicious and fresh. My mushrooms were cold and mushy. My husband ordered the enormous nachos. The chips were burnt in many spots and tasted like they used hormel chili. It was mainly chips and cheese. It was a very small amount of food especially for being $11. My son ordered a steak medium and the outside of the steak was burnt. The inside was cooked close to what he likes so he just carved out the middle. He said his baked potato was really good. My sister in law ordered a cheeseburger and couldn't eat half of it because it was burnt. A few of the other family members mentioned their meals had issues also. Meals being dry, flavorless, or cold. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but the last 3 times we have went to Logan's we have had the same experiences. We were hoping it was a fluke thing or maybe a new chef, but the 3 recent visits were spread out over 8 months. read more

We had a family of 9! They seated us within minutes of arriving. The waiter was great! He was very attentive to our needs. I had one of the new items on the menu. Fillet with crab sauce. Quality of food was average. Steak was overcooked, more like medium, but I wasn't about to wait for another steak to be cooked. Time after time my husband and I try this place to have our food messed up. The atmosphere is great BUT when u get a beer with lipstick on the mug and tell the bartender and all she did is say "oh" with no apology it was very odd to me. I thought that was bad... well silly me because I ordered the prime rib asked for medium rare and received rare like RARE-- MOO RARE! Manager happen to walk by so I told him and he was nice enough and said would u like that back on the grill or a new 1. I say a new steak please so then he brings me a new 1 which was a better cut, so I was happy until I got to the middle of it and again raw! So we get the check and most places would have removed the meal from the bill or offer a dessert or something to compensate for the bad experience... I mean hell I could a got a free beer out of the deal something since the customer service experience was so crappy but absolutely not I received a bill that was full price no hospitality one so ever and what was even more unsettling is halfway through my steak I look up at the manager staring at me watching me eat!!! Friends brought me here. Dont fill up on peanuts and bread like I did. The rolls are addictive. The service was okay. Had a good server. She was a tad busy and had a newbie shadowing her. Food was good. Steak was slightly rarer than I wanted. Ordered medium rare got more of a rare steak. Didn't bother me. Still tasted amazing. Had some fries that were pretty good. The sweet potato was bomb! I usually eat sweet potatoes skinned and baked with oil and seasonings. I was given a sweet potato, baked in skin, and it had a dollop of butter and cinnamon in the middle. Logan's used to be one of our go-to's for birthdays and anniversaries. Tonight this changed when not only my meal but my boyfriends were severely over cooked. We had already waited 45 minutes for our food after ordering, and we had waited 20 minutes to order before then. We sent our food back and my steak came back and was rare, I ordered medium. Sent it back and waited another 20 minutes for both my steak and my boyfriends. Both dry and not medium still. It's disappointing when an establishment we never had issues with all of a sudden does. Not to mention, the people behind us had the SAME exact problem with their food. Managers comping food doesn't fix a bad kitchen. read more

Went there Friday evening and took the whole family. The atmosphere was good and the food was ok not bad but not great. My bill total including my tip was $285.00. The problem was we ordered two burger meals to go for our kids that couldn't make it. After leaving we took one of them who was working her burger and after we got home she called to tell us that she found plastic in the burger and had to throw half of it away. I called the store and spoke to the lady manager i think her name was Lopez or something and expressed my frustration over spending that kind of money at her restaurant and end up with a meal wares because of something being in it. She wasn't very supportive about the situation, said we'd have to bring it back and the only thing she could do was replace it only if it was brought back and said it was almost impossible for that to happen. I expected better service after taking 13 family members and spend almost 300 dollars in her establishment. I don't believe my family and I will be going back again. Thankful our waitress was very good and took good care of all of us, the only bright spot. Thankful my grandson didn't get that burger and choke on it or worse. Not a happy consumer read more

I think this Logan's location is tops when it comes to chain restaurants. They have good food, friendly and efficient service, and a nice atmosphere. Folks, it's a peanuts-on-the-floor place, so don't expect the height of sophistication. But it is not a dive at all, it's a good place to go for a date or family meal and they're willing to make arrangements for large groups or meetings. I'm a big fan of the Santa Fe tilapia and the catfish. Their sweet potato fries are the best I've had anywhere. I don't eat steak but my husband says theirs is very good, and more affordable than many places in town. They have a lot of early bird and weekday specials that make it even more affordable to eat here. The bar area is nice and large although it really does not have a "bar" ambience in my opinion. We had a problem with the bar once, they never brought my husband his drink, but the manager was on it immediately and didn't charge us for the drink and gave us a free appetizer coupon for our next visit, so we were satisfied with the outcome. read more
