So disappointed! Food was horrible. Normally we love Logan's. We didn't even finish our meal. The waitress asked if we wanted to go containers because she noticed that neither one of us had hardly eaten anything. When we told her that the shrimp was slimy and tasted rancid, she merely stated that they had served it all day and no one else complained. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to eat whilst in Joplin. Rolls are good, but the butter isn't real. They could upgrade to cinnamon or honey butter, just that could improve their rating. We were in on a Monday at 11:30 am and they were really busy! My salad was slow coming out, but it was fresh and their blue cheese dressing is good. The croutons were soft though. Food came out hot, but not as pictured in the menu. I keep trying to like Logans but it has a lot of little things that are just not right. Anyone who reads my reviews knows I have a problem with loud environments so maybe its not too loud for you. We were here for a late lunch and with social distancing, we had nearly no one in the restaurant. They were playing music so loud I could not talk to my wife sitting across from me and had to yell at the waitress for her to get our order right. She struggled to hear our order and had to keep asking us over and over. I asked for the music to be turned down but they never lowered it. Every few tables have outdoor style hanging lights with silver metal cages around the class covering the light bulb. I would have to guess it was at least 100 watts, maybe more. Both my wife and I had to shade our eyes with the menus to see. We ended up wearing our sunglasses thru lunch but ti was still too bright. Save some money, use lower wattage bulbs when they are so close to the customers. We ordered burgers and fries, I asked for a diet drink, they only had Diet Coke which I don't care for. Would it so hard to offer a couple of diet or light choices? Not really. My burger was ok, nothing to get too excited about, a little better than fast food, not as good as a steakhouse burger from other places in town like Longhorn or a good burger from a brewery that you find in most larger towns. Its simple things like these added together that can ruin a meal out. I guess the food was ok, we sort of shoved it down so we could get out. Took the family out to eat the other night and our son chose Logans. He split the ribs with his mom and i got the prime rib sandwich. The ribs were so dry that my son had to ask for extra sauce just to get them down. The mac n cheese was ok but nothing special. Baked potato was ok. The prime rib sandwich was terrible. Super grisly and tough. I was expecting shaved prime rib on the sandwich but it was a thin steak between to buns. i finally dropped the bread and seed on it to manageable bites. I am speechless but let me try and express how disappointed we are. First, the restaurant is outrageously dirty. There are bugs crawling around the table we sat at, the light over the table had cob webs and particles of food as if spackled purposely. The server was nice but too busy to be attentive. She took a long time to come initially and then the time to get the order was unreasonable. Once the food arrived it looked worse than a school lunch in a third world country. Logan's has always been a favorite of mine for many years. Went there today and the food was just a complete miss. This was a late lunch and there was only a handful of customers. The wife and I both ordered steaks and they had zero flavor and just wasn't presented well. Everything was just low quality and hard to eat honestly. Had a bad dining experience last month. Received a call from Nate the manager to try to get things fixed. I decided to give it another shot. I would like to say that the difference was night and day. Steaks were cooked perfectly and we also got an appetizer this time around. We ordered the Roadhouse Trio and it was excellent. The loaded potato skins were amazing. Hailey B was our server and she was amazing as well. She kept our drinks topped off and made sure everything was to our liking. She was cheerful and always had a smile on her face. We had a group of 12 people go to Logan's had a bad situation with a bar manager when we first got there, she brought in another manager by the name of Lupe Lopez and she was amazing. Ordered carry out last night because it's a busy time of the year with Christmas around the corner and didn't have much time to cook. Probably the worst mistake all year....should have probably double checked when the food was picked up but I wasn't the one who pick it up. First off it was missing my side Cesar salad, my husband got his so it not sure what happened there. Also they forgot my shrimp skewer that was supposed to be on top of my steak. The last thing that was incorrect was my fillet was cooked to my husbands liking and his ribeye was cooked to my liking...needless to say I hate any sign of blood and he loves his rare! Then they proceeded to seat everyone that came in at the tables around us. I ended up eating about a foot away from a lady that yelled every word. The place was empty.
