I entered the restaurant on 9/20/26 around 9:12 PM. There were 6 customers total in the restaurant, including myself. I sat at the bar and waited for about 4 minutes for the bartender to come from the back and take my drink order. After placing my drink on the bar, and without saying a word, she turned around and started a chat session with two guys on the other side of the bar. After about 4 minutes, I had to get a waitress to get the bartenders attention and tell her that I wanted to order food. After ordering my meal, I promptly received salad and bread. Extremely disappointing experience at Logan's Roadhouse. We walked into a completely empty restaurant, and honestly, that should have been our first sign to turn around and leave. The restaurant was dirty. The booths had visible grime and old food stuck down in the creases, and the large bathroom stall didn't even have toilet paper. Our server, Jessica T., did not seem familiar with the menu and completely messed up our order. We were there for almost two hours waiting on our food and had to flag her down multiple times because she seemed to disappear for long periods of time. We asked twice for a second basket of rolls and never received them. When the food finally came, it wasn't worth the wait. My baked potato was hard, inedible, and wasn't loaded as ordered. The chicken was rubbery, and even the water tasted like soap. When my steak came out, I wasn't offered steak sauce and eventually had to ask another employee to find some for me. Between the cleanliness, extremely slow service, incorrect order, and poor food quality, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. This was the worst eating experience I have had in a long time. Steak was ordered medium but came out rare. I had to send it back and wait 10 more minutes. The steak was a terrible cut of meat with huge connective tissue in the center. Paid 2.69 for mushrooms with the steak and got literally one teaspoonful of mushrooms. The seasoning was awful. I literally paid just to leave. The people with me had to send back the ribs. They were so tough and you literally couldn't pull the bones apart. The management didn't seem surprised they were getting sent back. The side of gumbo for 6.99 was not gumbo it was a soup. I thought it would be a smaller portion of the larger dish. I asked the server but she indicated that no one had ever ordered a side and she didn't know. It had a good flavor but didn't come with rice. My husband visited Logan's to celebrate my husband's birthday while in town and decided to treat himself to a steak. He ordered it medium rare but as you can see from the photo, this is what he got. We're not the type to read Yelp reviews before going to a restaurant, but after this experience, I definitely will be from now on. If I had read some of the others beforehand, I would've told him to skip it altogether. The steak had to be sent back once, and then again before the manager personally recooked it. While all of this was happening, the bartender made an offhand comment about how she was excited to take the steak my husband sent back home for her dog. Strange thing to say especially now that I've seen similar reviews mentioning steaks being returned frequently. We're not usually ones to complain.. we've both spent over 15 years in the hospitality industry and know things happen, but this was just disappointing. This Logans take out hit all the right spots for me!!! The chopped steak meal was so hearty and filling!! I loved every bite, despite my steak not being the medium temp I originally requested. I was really impressed with how smooth and creamy the mashed potatoes were. What really set this meal over the top had to be the mushroom & onion gravy! SO, SO good!!! I am a huge fan of baked apples so having this also as a side added a nice little sweet touch to my meal! Honestly , I really thought all the Logan's restaurants were a thing of a past but after this chopped steak meal ( which is what I always order) I'm reminded of just how well made this meal is and how much I really like it! My wife and ordered dishes that included grilled shrimp. When our food arrived, it was obvious the shrimp were not fully cooked. When we complained, our waitress immediately brought it to the attention of a manager. The manager offered to finish cooking the shrimp. Seemed they should have offered to replace the shrimp vs cooking the shrimp longer since it would be dry. But, we agreed and the manager promptly took our shrimp skewers to be further cooked. After 15 mins, our shrimp had still not been returned to our table and so we politely asked our server for our check to be discounted so we could pay and leave. My restaurant experience tonight was downright scary and I would be remiss to not inform management about it. We were seated in the bar section at 7:30. Approximately 10 minutes later, the waitress in the adjacent section dropped a side of ranch dressing on the floor which splattered the hallway - the hallway going to the bathroom might I add. I took a picture of the mess. Ridiculous and abhorrent. As for the food, my husband ordered a sirloin plate and I ordered a salad with sirloin. The differences in our steaks was obvious. Mine was grey in color and when I cut into it, it looked unnatural. I took a small bite and ended up spitting it out because it tasted funky. The steak was old/rotten yet it was still used to serve to me. I took pictures of mine and my husband's steak next to each order to prove the difference. The waitress could tell immediately when she came back that something was wrong, and she did everything she could to fix the problem. It's not her fault the cook cooked a rotten steak. She offered a substitute meat and I got grilled chicken instead. She got the salad removed by the manager and I was charged only for the chicken. I truly appreciate the waitress; however, I'm severely disappointed in the manager. I was never visited by the manager regarding this incident. I never even saw a manager the entire time I was there because I was anxious to tell him/her about the situation with the steak and the ranch on the floor. It doesn't bode well that no one cares enough to pick up ranch spilled in plain site and that spoiled meat is served to customers. I have been here before and had excellent food and service, but today my food was cold and the special on the cards on the table were misleading. I ordered the wood grilled chicken with loaded baked potato and salad and tea to drink. According to the card on the table the price was $14.99. Absolutely awful! I ordered a simple take out order of one pasta dish, salad and a strawberry lemonade. I got there when it was supposed to be ready and it wasn't. Started off pretty good drinks and appetizer came out at a reasonable time and food took a little bit longer as it always is at restaurants. Not a problem. This has to be the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The small plates for rolls were wet and had food stuck on them, we got dirty silverware, they forgot our appetizer, they forgot one of our meals, my salad was never brought out and we we asked they finally brought it out for it to be frozen, the fries were cold, the chicken tenders were hard and still pink inside. Took 40 minutes to get steaks. I ordered 16oz they cooked 8 oz. Had to wait another 15+ minutes for this one. I believe they took the original onion straws and put on this plate bc they were cold and didn't eat. I asked them to take off the onion straws 1.49 and waitress said she couldn't. I asked for manager. She tried to tell me the onion straws were cooked fresh. I asked if so why were they cold? She said she would take care of the bill.
