My girlfriend and I came by to eat lunch at Logan's in Moody Alabama. When we got to the front door I didn't have a mask and so I used my extra shirt as a face covering. The young hostess informed me that I had to be wearing a mask. Please note that the patient was wearing a cloth face covering herself. The young black female waitress told me she would not seat us until I was wearing a mask. I informed her that the sign on the front entrance stated that I had to be wearing a "face covering". Another delicious dinner. I had The Logan cooked medium, the garden salad, baked potato and stewed apples. Ashley had the fish and chips with fries and steamed broccoli. My steak was perfect. A nice pink line through the middle of my whole steak. The steak was consistently thick and solid. Nice piece of fat around the end about 1/8th inch thick. The steak was fork cut tender. The potato was cooked just right. Done but not gummy. Flaky just like an Idaho Baker is suppose to be. The salad was fresh and full. Lots of colorful delights inside. Dressing was very hearty and thick. Stewed apples had a nice cinnamon flavor and held together well. The 300 yeast rolls were delicious. Our server Crista, was just the best. We arrived for dinner with twelve hungry motorcyclists. Logan's staff was very attentive and kept the delicious hot rolls coming at a frantic pace. My wife had the salmon which she said was great. The side dishes were large and excellent. Since we were walking to our hotel, we got to sample Logan's Bar which produced excellent drinks. Came here to get dinner before heading back to Atlanta from the outlet. My wife reminded me that we had a bad time at a Logans the last time, should have listened. The bartender was good and did what she was supposed to and was a great server. Ordered the Filet with shrimp and asked for hers to be medium well and mine to be medium. So of course they both came out well done. I can't disrespect a steak and eat it well but my wife can do that with no problem. I asked for another steak and so it began. We initially waited about 25 mins for the food. Thinking that they would re-fire the steak and get it back to me I continued eating my sides. Another 25 mins later I still hadn't gotten my steak back. I asked for the manager and it appeared that he had no clue as to what was going on. He went and came back with my steak a few mins later. And guess what it was even more done than the first one. Of course I couldn't eat it. The best I got from the manager was I'll give you half off. Smh. I guess we won't be going to Logan's anymore. Our experience here was less than enjoyable. It would take too long to go into all of details, however, it was highlighted by RAW Chicken. My wife ordered the grilled chicken and it came out raw. Very undercooked. We looked for our waitress for several minutes. After she could not be found my wife asked for a manager. They remade her food, however, it took over 20 minutes to get the recooked chicken at which point, I was already done with my meal. When the waitress brought our check the chicken was still on there. I told the waitress we would not be paying for the chicken as it came out raw and then took forever to get replaced. She returned having only taken a portion of the entree off of our bill. We never complain and we never ask for free food but comping that meal should have happened without asking. It's obvious why this location only has a two star review and is, from my perspective, poorly managed. read more

My husband and I went here last night (a Monday night) and it wasn't overly busy at all.. maybe 20 people total eating in the restaurant. The server we had took over 10 minutes just to come get our drink orders than another 5 to bring them. The food came out decently quickly after we ordered. The waitress checked on us 1 time after that, never offering refills or anything. I had my card out to signal I wanted the check and it took over 15 minutes after we were done eating for her to bring the check to us. We were there well over an hour, when it should have been a 30-40 minute ordeal since they weren't busy at all. There was a manager that walked past us when I had the card on the edge of the table and I was hoping she would ask how things were, did we need anything, etc. but she didn't. read more

We ordered with door Dash and they did a great job of delivering our order. Logan's in Moody Alabama did not do their due diligence and making sure the order was correct. The ribeye steak and the sweet potato was good. The filet mignon was Undercooked the potato was good. But did not receive three cheese macaroni. We placed a to go order tonight as we were staying in the hotel next door. The ordering was fairly easily and the food was good but I did have some issues. I ordered soup and it was placed in the bag sideways so it leaked all over the bag and was given a fork and knife instead of a spoon, no butter for rolls, no condiments for burgers and no ketchup for French fries. Also was only given one napkin for 2 burgers and soup. These things should be automatic or asked if the items are needed. Double check your orders before leaving location. read more

I usually don't have any problem ordering takeout from here. We got 4 chopped steak dinners and 2 of them were RAW meat in the middle. Could not eat it! The moody location has refused me and my family seating the past 2 times we went there to eat. I understand the safety rules and I agree with them, but we have been refused because we had to many people (wich was 6 and a child) . They would not even give us 2 tables. VERY DISAPOINTED !! read more

First, and only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because our server was friendly, prompt and somewhat efficient. We had 2 small service issues which were corrected immediately. 1. No silverware on table after our food was already brought out. That's annoying. 2. No lemon, no butter for my BURNT lobster. Why? Isn't that common accoutrements? The side salads are decent, fresh, good size portions. The dinner rolls are funky... Not sure if they're supposed to taste like air-flour? They need something; garlic, salt, sugar...something? Our filets were cooked to order (medium) which was great, cuz they were seriously lacking any flavor other than burnt grill bits. I had to scrape black bits of other people's steaks off of my steak!! That grossed me out. The atmosphere is LOUD music and subsequently LOUD people. Our area was dirty, silverware, glassware and our plates were dirty. Lastly, I don't understand the amount of staff literally standing around in groups? The hostess stand had 4 hostesses, bussers were hanging out together near dirty tables, and one busser literally sneezed onto the table he was attempting to clean! I have worked at steakhouses such as this in the past and I knew this would be a bad experience from the second I walked. How did I know? There were six hostesses standing at the door when we walked in and a dozen dirty tables. It went downhill from there. It took fifteen minutes and two questions before we got our drink order taken. Since it had been so long, we ordered everything at once. Our waiter then repeated the order back to us twice. She then proceeded to bring us the wrong drinks, wrong salad, no bread and no appetizer. 45 minutes in, we cut our losses and told them we had to go. The highlight was when our assigned waiter (who we had already been told was sick) came out to check on her section all while looking incredibly green like she was going to vomit again. Logan's- once someone on staff pukes, send them home! Moral of the story- don't eat (or work) at Logan's. read more

3 of us were driving and needed a place to sit down and eat. Fortunately they were open for dine-in. The place wasn't clean though. Anything from about 6 feet & higher hadn't been dusted or cleaned in ages. I ordered a medium rare filet. One of my party ordered a "slightly pink" steak. Mine was very rare. Hers was well done. But mine did taste good although I only ate the edges. The mac and cheese was good. See my comments on COVID as I don't believe they are doing a very good job. Where do I even start to begin, my husband and myself have had many terrible experiences at this particular Logan's. We always said that we were never going to come back because we never got the service that we wanted and the food was always wrong. Well yesterday morning for lunch we got up and decided that we would head that way and give it another try. So we come in in the moment that we sit down we are greeted by this beautiful little girl who has just the biggest smile on her face. I believe her name was marianna. She asked us how we were doing, she asked how our morning was going, she asked what we plan on doing that day. I mean boom right out of the gate. best server connection that we have ever had. Then she began to take our order, we told her exactly what we wanted to eat and that was exactly what we got. Everything was absolutely perfect there was no mistakes made. The food was hot it was absolutely delicious and she was absolutely phenomenal. So now we come to the end of the meal, This sweet girl walks up to me and my husband gives us a ticket and says I'm going to say a prayer for your husbands surgery tonight when I say my prayers I hope y'all have a blessed evening come back and see me. She made such a huge impression on me and my husband we will come back at least once a week to see her we absolutely love her. Well I read all of the bad reviews, and felt like I had to try and even the score. I eat at this Logan's regularly. Now I do usually sit at the bar, so the seating wait is not something I have to deal with... but the food has been perfect every time I have been. I get a steak or I get the grilled chicken with a salad or grilled vegetables. I haven't had a bad meal yet. And the bacon on a stick is killer. read more

Ordered the shrimp and grits for lunch. Grits were fresh from the fridge cold. It's Monday so they are not busy but very slow. To add insult to injury the manager still charged for my drink. This is not the first time that food has not been good here, but it will be the last. Never again. They like to reply to our reviews with a message to leave your email and contact in private message. Well, I have searched for hours and find absolutely no way to leave a private message. My parents and I walked in, waited 7 minutes, and were passed over twice. I said to them we needed to find another place to eat as half the restaurant was full, and it was taking too long. The guy at the podium kept asking if there were 2 people, even though my dad kept saying 3, and holding up 3 fingers. Again, scary. It took 50 minutes for the food to came out and my medium steak was half well done, and half medium well despite the little MEDIUM flags. I started cutting, and it was very tough. I told her I could tell it wasn't cooked correctly because of how tough it was. I showed my server and she said, "Well, how did you want it done?" I replied, "actually medium, and the whole steak done that way." She looked at me confused a minute and asked if I wanted it redone. My parents said, "no, because we've already been here too long." She didn't pick up on that either. A good bit of the rice was crunchy and overdone to the point you couldn't eat it. After a day at work, I should've just left then, and eaten somewhere else. I didn't and now regret it because I was up all night nauseated. Apparently my experience is not a new, and very common one. We have been 3 times in Hope's that this local steakhouse would redeem itself. Each time there were issues with cold and raw food. Each time there was lackluster service ( we are super easy), each time it took over 45 minutes to be set and over an hour for 2 meals. I normally don't leave bad reviews simply bc I just don't return. However my daughter loves this restaurant so I know I'll have to return. My family went on a Friday the wait was 30mins after we were seated our waiter never came to our table the host reseated us then it took another 11mins for the sever to come. across from us was a family experiencing the same thing. the restaurant wasn't clean the tables were dirty the restaurant wasn't packed or busy it was weird we experienced bad service. The waiter didn't even seem bothered that we had to wait and the area wasn't clean. The food was delicious I must say hot fresh and delicious. Also the bathroom were very nasty I didn't expect to be displeased with such a well known restaurant and we spent 70 dollars all on poor service unclean environment and severs who don't care. Hopefully I can convince my daughter to eat somewhere else but if I can't I hope the experience is better read more

I do not usually post reviews especially a bad one. Everybody can have a bad day but I drove 30 minutes to pick up a go order. I ordered a filet, loaded baked potato and salad. When I got home another 30 minute drive and opened the box I had a sirloin steak , baked potato (not loaded) shrimp over rice. I do not eat sirloin rice or shrimp so I paid $31.00 plus a $4.00 tip for a salad I do realize how difficult it is to get employee's but just a heads up check your order before you leave. read more

Everything started off fine, the host allowed us to sit in a booth instead of a table due to a back issue that someone in our party had. Our waitress was great, brought drinks and rolls out quickly and made sure that our drinks stayed filled up. Now here's the bad part, we ordered medium rare steaks and chicken tenders. We waited for an hour for our food. The waitress could tell we were getting frustrated and instead of getting a manager involved, she said "oh, they're training a new guy on the grill tonight so just hang tight".... that's not a good reason for a 60 minute ticket time. Then we asked for a Togo box and she forgot it, so I went next to the kitchen to ask an employee for a box and could hear servers and other staff cussing and screaming at eachother. I just want to say that the manager, Bailey, saved what would have been an indescribably bad experience. The service was bad, the food was wrong and most of it cold, the wait time was long, and they didn't have what William wanted to eat. The only positive part of the meal were that our steaks were prepared PERFECTLY by BoBo (don't laugh, we spoke to him and he's awesome!). I have not had a better steak than last time I ate at Ruth's Chris. For real. That being said, I was LIVID with everything else, because this was a special meal for my awesome husband, and it should have been right. I made a list of all the things that were wrong, and I mean really wrong and presented it to Bailey, the manager. Not only did Bailey comp our meal (which I told her was unnecessary, I was MORE than happy to pay for the awesome steaks), but she sat down with us, heard our complaints, reacted with perfect empathy, and was the epitome of amazing customer service. My husband and I got there just before their special ended. We each got the 6oz sirloin steak rare, baked potato, yeast roll & a nice salad for $8.99 each. I believe the special runs from 3 to 6 with several different meals to choose from including fajitas. I will try them next time! The potato was perfect w/butter and sour cream and the salad was full of different veggies. The steak was cooked to perfection! Plenty of food. We left full and very satisfied. Yummy! read more

He was rude, condescending and could not have cared less that 3 out of 6 people's meal were not edible. Came in on a bad weather night, Friday. Restaurant 1/3 full, out of prime rib. Had to get manager to get a server. Server was not good at serving. Appetizers and salad came at the same time. My steak came before I had time to finish salad. My wife's steak came after mine and not at the same time. Server never came by to check on us. We decided to sit in the bar area. When we got there the bartender was eating his dinner that he brought from home in a Tupperware container in front of customers, manager walked by and didn't say anything to him. My wife ordered wine from bar and it took for ever to get it. I had to remind the server. The fried mushroom were fresh, hot and good. The salad was good. The steak was not so good. Half the steak was fat and gristle. I must say this is the worse that we have experienced at this particular steak house.
