The waitress was very attentive and apologetic, so I do not blame her for the delay. The chopped steak was flavorful and moist. The mashed potatoes were unremarkable. The grilled mushrooms were served on a metal skewer but were so dried out I wondered if they had been prepared in a microwave. One of the persons with me really enjoyed the grilled pork chop plate. We ordered the prime rib meal for our Christmas Eve and Christmas meal. It is outstanding. Everything is prepared to perfection. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience the best. May actually be the best Christmas meal ever. I have always enjoyed eating here, as with all places sometimes they are better than others. However the staff is second to none. They stopped serving the prime rib and I pray that they continue having this as a catering option. I believe I could treat myself to this meal several times a year. We ordered sirloins one medium well and one medium rare- the medium rare had gristle all the way through the center and couldn't be cut and the medium well was completely well done. Horrible experience! Started with the hostess, they had plenty of open tables. But when I asked if we could take the large table by the bar, she said yes but that she had to sit everyone else before us. Didn't quite understand that. There were others there that we confused as to why she wasn't sitting anyone down, I noticed a large group leave cause of the slow service. After 25 min wait, our waitress was just as slow. Came in with my fiancé, myself, and my newborn. Our waiter was just the greatest. He got our drinks as soon as we were seated. He helped me pick my margarita , everytime he cane out to check one table he checked all his tables. We had our food order within 30 minutes of being seated. Each time my family has walked through the door the hosts act as if we're interrupting their conversation along with no greeting whatsoever. I have eaten here 10 times or more. Today, will be my last. First of all, I know leaving church on a sunday and trying to eat is tenuous at best, but today was a first. We were five adults and a child. We waited for 10 minutes while they "prepared" our table. They originally said they were getting it ready and came back and said they were moving two tables together and were working on it. No big as this is not uncommon on Sunday at lunch. When we got to our table, it was 1154 because I text my two sons to let them know where we were sitting. 45 minutes later, our food hit the table. My son's sauaage was cold. My daughter in law asked our waitress where our food was and she said she would check as she hadn't seen it. A few minutes later, she returned with help to bring it to us. We ate and I asked for a ticket. About 10 minutes later, she brought me the ticket. I got my card out and waited another 7-8 minutes before she came by. She took my card, and by this time, my son and his wife had to leave and take the baby home and on her way out, she told the manager I was getting angry. He brought me my card and ticket and asked if everything was okay. I told him we waited 45 minutes for our food and he apologized. Wow, this place has done a 180. The last few times we been here service had gone way down, (our normal server is not there anymore) he must of seen the change to the place himself. (Our server had 4 other tables not too busy, took her 10 +mins to fill tea glass) The cuts of meat are cheap very low quality, thin cuts and lots of tendons/fat. Last week the wife and I went there and ordered 1 16oz and 1 12oz rib-eye, medium, the thicker 12oz was cooked ok but my 16oz thinner one was well done! Asked them if they could do another one to go, because it took them 30 mins to cook the 1st one, the somewhat server asked if I wanted to have the potato now (forgetting my other side) I said no I want it all to go. 20 min later it came out to go, and guess what, It was cooked well done not medium as I requested. Then she gave me the bill for my wife's diner that I got to see her eat, @ full price. I asked to chat w/ the manager and when he came to our table I saw why the service has gone away. This person was clueless. Went to 3 different tables looking for ours, and then wouldn't look me in the eyes while talking to me. With such service I wouldn't either.
