My yelp review We called ahead and were told the restaurant could accommodate our group, but when we arrived, we were made to wait. That was unacceptable, especially after confirming in advance. We were also told that our entire party had to be on one check. This policy was never mentioned when we called, and we were not prepared for it. Even after speaking with the manager, we were told that's simply the rule. Again, unacceptable. Our group of 15 was assigned only one server. When I asked why, the server just shrugged her shoulders. Service was extremely slow, and she rarely checked on us. The food took two hours to arrive, which is completely unreasonable. The manager never returned to check on us or address the issues we were experiencing. Overall, this was not a good experience. Memorial Afternoon Dinner. I asked for sweet tea, but it was terribly over-sweet. I asked for Medium Rare steak (they didn't have prime rib), & got something that was barely Medium. We went here for lunch today so we could use a $50 gift card given to us for our anniversary. Never been here before and unfortunately we won't be back. The place had a decent amount of guests, no hostess and two waitresses on each side of the restaurant. Our side had 6 other tables with guests and then us. The chicken tenders looked like the meat you get at subway for a sandwich, looks pressed and unsure if it's real chicken. No salad was served. The rib tasted ok, weird smoke flavor to it. Husband got the meatloaf and it looked like the Swanson tv dinner meatloaf. We immediately asked for to go containers since this was our lunch break and it was already almost 1.5 hours at this place. The lady near us finally got her meal and it was a salad! How long could that really take. Total Cost was $50. Unbelievable. If it was good I wouldn't mind paying that but it wasn't even worth $20. Legitimately might be the worst food I've had in my life. I mean, we all know that most of these restaurants just use frozen food, but Jesus, at least most of them are able to mask it with seasoning or decoration. The two times we've driven over an hour to this place have been massive disappointments. My mom ordered the ribeye which literally still had blood coming out of it and no flavour at all. The steak was meant to be medium rare, not alive. I got the chicken dinner which is probably the best thing on the menu. The mac and cheese while frozen, is still serviceable. The green beans were ok. It also doesn't help that they keep the place frozen like a refrigerator. I mean seriously, it's May in Michigan not August in Singapore, you don't need the AC at 50. As she sat them on the table, BAM, one of the butter containers fell out of the basket, butter side down onto the table.
