Not sure of where to go, so many choices we opted to stop at one of our favorite chains..."Logan's Steakhouse" but we had never stopped at this location. It was very clean and the staff was very attentive and happy. We were seated immediately and the waitress was there just as quickly. She brought us our usual drink order, Unsweetened tea with lemon/ lime and budweiser. Tony opted for the 22oz draft. It was around 3:30pm so it was a late lunch, early dinner. We opted to get the dinner for two for $19.95..we chose for our entrees the 6oz Angus Steak (both medium rare) Tony ordered the loaded baked potato and salad with ranch dressing. I opted for the Grilled skewer of veggies and Baked Potato with sour cream and butter. Our appetizer choice was the shrooms' with a horsy dipping sauce and the dessert choice was the Big Chewy Hot Fudge Brownie..we decided to have it to go..we couldn't eat all our food, so we had to take the leftovers home. The food was awesome. The portion size for the amount of money was awesome. I highly recommend this if your dining out with just two people. Logan's Roadhouse is a nifty place where you can actually throw your peanut shells on the floor to add to the scenery of the peanut shelled covered floor throughout the place. This place has an ok look inside; nothing upscale. Actually, the place could use a remodeling to bring it up to par with restaurants of this type... Basically, this place is nothing to look at! I did take pics for your viewing... See for yourself. The service at Logan's - 1. The waitress never checked in on our table as needed; she was never around and hard to find. 2. Refilling on a glass that has 1/2 melted ice in it is a No-No! Especially with sweet tea; You just made it un-sweetened (LOL!) = Overall service was below average! Here is a funny one for you - (LOL! moment) The hostess who great customers into restaurant wasn't very courteous. Her only priority was to eat peanuts and that she did!!!! When I arrived at the restaurant, until the time I left she was eating peanuts! I was like dang... Seriously! Is the child hungry or what? It was the funniest thing... Ok, back to the real deal. The food at Logan's - 1. Food had curb appeal and turned out to be good; Not excellent but good. = Food has an opportunity for improvement! Logan's used to be packed every night because the food, drinks, and service were great. Not anymore. I just had the toughest "filet mignon" ever. I didn't know a medium rare steak could could be chewy especially a filet. Mixed drink was super light on the alcohol. Definitely spent more at Logan's than the food or the service deserved. Our table was full of salad and entree dishes when dessert arrived. Overall, it was pretty disappointing and we don't plan to go back. read more

We just had the worse experience ever at at Logan's. First, we were told they could not tell the prices of items that did not have a price. We were told they were too busy which was obviously not true. My husband went to get our drinks and he was told by the bartender she would not serve him because we needed to go through our server that was not old enough to serve it. Then SOME of the steaks started coming out. We had not gotten our salads. Finally got the salads which had the lettuce core and the ends of cucumber. After asking twice we finally got the steaks that we're supposed to be medium and they were barely rare! The baked potatoes were not done. We spoke to the manager. He acted annoyed and still tried to charge us minus 25%. In the end he did not speak to us but FINALLY only charged us for the rare steak our son-in-law consumed and the kids meal our grandson consumed. If I treated my clients this way, I wouldn't have any. They were unprofessional, and rude. The food and the service was unacceptable and pitiful. read more

The first time we dined in...Let's just say we never got a chance to "dine". I added on green beans. The salmon was Rock hard. It wouldn't flake apart if it wanted to. The broccoli was MIA. I guess they decided I didn't need it. The sweet potato was supposed to be loaded (cinnamon, sugar, caramel). So instead of caramel, they gave me chocolate syrup. I can't make this up. I was so confused trying to think why they even had containers of chocolate syrup (I guess for dessert). Again, I guess they decided I needed chocolate syrup instead of caramel on a sweet potato. We went there yesterday (12-1-21). Group of 8. No problem being seated. Waited over 15 minutes no contact with a server. I know servers were there because I could see 3 in a group across the restaurant standing there talking. Other servers kept walking by our table waiting on other people that were seated after us and bussing tables. But no one ever came to take our drink order or acknowledge us in any way. Approaching 20 minutes we just all got up and left. Went to Margarita House and had an excellent meal with good service. It's been about 10 years since I've been to Logan's roadhouse and with my experience yesterday it will probably be 10 more before I try it again. By the way, they were not that busy. I have enjoyed food there many times in the past. Today I ordered takeout. The steak was very thin, so therefore a "medium" steak had about a pencil eraser size pink spot in the center. It was stringy and tough. I was very disappointed. Also in this time of takeout. Greeting service sucked. 3 employees standing at the register. After 2 minutes waiting patiently 1 employee comes toward me like I was a disturbance. Both of the people that I was with ordered burgers. One of them were done and the other one wasn't. They took his back to the kitchen to fix his burger. They put his burger that he had taken a bite out of, back on the grill to cook a bit more. I asked how in the world does that work? Went here to satisfy my roll craving and left disappointed with everything else. When we got seated my immediate thought was this table to gross and sticky. Our rolls and drinks came out quick. We ordered the new pasta, fried pickles, and a kids chicken tender plate. Pickles came out first and I was very excited to have some but they were way to salty. I know usually fried pickles have some saltiness to them, but I've had better fried pickles that weren't so hard to eat. I am being generous with the one star. We were told 10-15 mins we waited 45 and had a party of ten that came in after us and another couple who came after us get seated before us. When I questioned things the hostess had a major attitude. The restrooms were nasty. The prep staff was eating while prepping and putting food in the window. Many parties leaving after being seated. One party had everyone but one persons food come out. His never arrived. They said they would discount his meal. I'd give Logan's Roadhouse a minus one if I could. I had a beer (a very good local IPA) which turned out to be, by far, the best part of my meal. I ordered the ribeye sandwich and I now deeply regret my choice. It was served on a roll (lightly toasted would have been better but no, it was a cheap uninspiring plain roll) with a couple of iceberg lettuce leaves, slices of nasty hothouse tomatoes, some pieces of raw white onion, some cheap, almost flavorless cheese, and some slightly caramelized onions over what should have been slices of medium rare ribeye but seemed to be more like burnt tips. Accompanying this bland, uncreative, frankenwich were waffle-cut fries that were barely warm and had impressively minimal flavor. In short, my only reason to ever return to this establishment would be if I was being chased by zombies and had absolutely nowhere else to hide. I sure as hell wouldn't return for the food. And I wish I'd check Yelp first ... apparently I'm just one of a veritable legion of dissatisfied victims, er, customers. Our visit was nothing short of amazing !! Logans is one of our favorites and it was a pleasant surprise to find out this location recently reopened!! From the requirement of wearing A mask to the food quality it was worth returning ! Most of all we had the best server , "King"! He was very attentive and just great all around ! I attempted in good faith to eat at this sad excuse of a Logan's restaurant. Attempted to sit in the bar booth as it was small and it was only me. Was told that I needed to be seated from the hostess stand. Went to the hostess stand and asked to be seated in a bar booth. Well they wouldn't do it as there was only one waitress??? So he sat me at a table after I asked for a booth. (Many booths were open by the way). I left. staff was more interested in chatting with each other to take care of guests. The food here is fine, my fiancée loves the vegetable skewer. The problem is that there is something catastrophically wrong with their staffing and handling guests. We arrived on a Sunday at noon which is admittedly a time when restaurants are liable to be crowded. When we got in, we were told the wait would be 25 minutes. We foolishly decided to stick it out. After 30 minutes we started to hear their people saying they had been there since 11:30, a full half hour before we arrived, and were yet to be seated. Maybe they were a big party, I'm not sure, but either way that's ridiculous. Also worth mentioning: after we had been waiting about 10-15 minutes, they hostess bumped the wait time for newcomers up to 55 minutes....?!?! Really?!?! An additional half hour?! I think this was a disingenuine and fake wait time designed to tell people they are not wanted here. The optics are a huge problem. Dozens of tables and booths are open the entire time you are waiting including entire sections of the store. This is not the first time I've experienced this. I understand staffing is a limiting factor to how many tables you can have available but if at a peak time like Sunday lunch you don't have the staff to fully utilize tables and restaurant space, let alone not leave entire sections of the restaurant empty, you need to hire more people!!!! Overall a pretty bad experience because of the wait time being off (we waited about 35 minutes) the bad optics, the deceptive wait time practices (seemingly), and the utter failure to properly staff the restaurant. It's as bad as running out of food at a wedding. Pretty bad, 2 stars instead of one just because my fiancée loves the food. Hello, I don't usually do this, but I had no choice because my experience was horrific. Upon entering the establishment, we put our name on the waiting list. We then noticed that they were skipping people on the list or just going by who was in front of them. A few couples were upset by this but me and my fiancé waited patiently. When we sat down, we could see visibly that the waiter was having a horrible day. After a 15 min pep talk his spirits brightened a little as he walked away, we could literally see other staff bullying him. I don't know about most, but it's hard enough having a customer service job but even harder when you don't feel safe at work. We never received bread, and then I ordered a 22oz Porterhouse medium well and side order of ribs, my fiancé ordered the logan sirloin medium well also. My Porterhouse came it was paper thin and the whole sirloin side of the porterhouse was missing no way it was 22oz it was charred and over well done, my side of ribs were 2 bones and with no meat on them, my fiancé sirloin was so overcooked it wasn't edible. Needless to say, we left 80% of food there and upon leaving asked to speak to manager who then came up to talk to us and he also look visibly distraught, so we just asked for refund (which is still on my card) and left. I travel for work and this by far was my worst experience at a logans roadhouse ever. read more

Ate dinner here last night and would have written my review then but yelp was down. First I know it is a chain restaurant, but that being said the only good thing about my meal was the price. When is was brought to our table it looked great but it was cold. The taste was good, but if I had been a health inspector I would have sent it back. Chicken is suppose to be served a a certain temp to prevent disease, this was well below that temp. My waitress was fast but not at all accurate. I ordered a diet coke and my dinner partner water. When she came back we had to tell her who got what. The same thing happened with our meals. I blame the big chains for putting to much emphasis on the bottom line and not on training their employees well and making them take pride in their products they serve. Most people will not return food that is cold or over cooked for fear of retaliation from the staff, but this has also lead to the sad state that big food chains are in. I gave 3 star because one bad meal from a restaurant shouldn't be a complete turn off maybe it was a bad night. We will go back and see if they can make a better showing. read more

People were very nice. However, the place was nearly empty and it still took an hour to get the food. We had steak. The meat actually stunk and tasted rancid. My wife's was much worse than mine. It was so bad that we asked the waitress to just remove it from the table. The manager was very apologetic and offered to replace it, but the damage had been done. They were nice enough to take her steak off the bill. Sure isn't the Logan's of the past. We'll never eat there again. read more

Upon entering this dimly lit peanut infested chain restaurant, I was greeted with lackluster defeated facial expressions. Rather than having one of these souless hosts take me to a table, I decided to keep my joy and walk myself to the bar. I was greeted by a young beverage savior known as Morgan. As she poured an all american L.I.T., I look around the room and spot sadness in the eyes and more so the hearts of all the servers around. Identifiable looks of "when will this world take me?" And back to Morgan. Literally killing the drink game. As I throw more peanuts on the ground and down a handful of mozzarella sticks, I know everything in this world is gonna be alright. Had an interesting experience in this place last night and wanted to share it with other travelers... Following a driving day that approached 900 miles I was looking forward to a relaxed dinner in a casual setting. I had eaten at a Logan's elsewhere (Florida) so, in spite of all the options available near my hotel, decided to stop in. The "hostess" confirmed the number in my party (definitely not a difficult task) and pointed me to another stand of menus and what appeared to be guest checks. I stood there, apparently invisible, for at least 5 minutes (more than I would typically wait but I was really tired) while she chatted with servers near the kitchen. By the way, no other staff member made eye contact let alone asked if I had been helped, during the time I remained at my post. By the way, the "hostess" was in no way searching for a suitable table as the restaurant was less than half full and I had told her any open table was fine. OK, now the good stuff... From my great vantage point at the stand I had been directed to stand, I watched a female server hurriedly leave a booth near the bar area. As she left the couple seated in the booth, she turned and clearly said, "F __k you b____h," to the guests and walked past me to the servers area while dropping a plate to the floor. While I have no idea what started the incident, the guests obviously left immediately. Oddly, I had no interest in staying at Logan's as, from all indications, this operation was a dumpster fire and I left the restaurant. During the time at my assigned station I saw no one who even remotely appeared to be a manager which obviously was no surprise. By the way, I went nearby to Hickory Falls and enjoyed a great dinner, excellent service and was not deserted at a place where I could watch a poorly operated restaurant.
