First of all the condescending snotty Republican comment left on the front door about the government giving away free money and they can't find help really irritated me. I suggested to my husband that we not go in because of it. We went in anyway just to have a little free time and some fun time together. Bartender Shannon made a decent bloody Mary a little salty but very good husband ordered an order of french fries maybe 20 fries in the basket, expensive. I decided to get a Tito's on the rocks and asked what kind of diet soda they had Shannon told me they had Diet Coke and diet Verners I said I'll take the diet Verners and Tito's in a short glass it came it was in a taller glass the Tito's that is with a side can of diet Verners when we got our tab I was charge 5.50 for the Tito's and 2.75 for a can of diet Verners that's 8.25 for one drink. I questioned it and she literally blew me off then gave me $2.50 in cash to pay for my Can of Vernors. When will these business owners in Michigan and for that matter across the country realize it's the hard-working people who pay for their beautiful homes and boats and vacation homes enough is enough they need to be grateful instead of being so sarcastic and ripping us off! read more

Atmosphere pleasant, staff friendly but not attentive would have had to ask to refill drinks even the water. The food was not very consistent. The smothered Angus dinner food portion looked like a kids meal, Gyro was not that great limited gyro meat and the traditional sauce pasty and I love Gyros typically! French fries were horrible! The wet burrito was a huge portion. French dip sand was good super tender per my daughter. The Food took forever and they were not very busy. Waitress realized it was taking long time told us they were playing our food and it was a good 15/20 min before it came out(she was obviously buying time. fries came out cold/crisp for all three of our sandwiches the gyro and Italian sub were barely warm. Fish tacos were good per family member. This was our first time here and probably wouldn't come back. I just overall was not impressed with food, nothing to rave about here. read more

We waited for dinks, finally had to go to the bar for ourselves. Food took over 20 minutes and was incomplete when it arrived. The pizza took an extra 20 minutes. We enjoyed our food here but service was pretty poor. There was no sign indicating whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated, so we went ahead and sat down. We were ignored by the 2 waitresses that saw us for about 10 minutes or so, and then they finally brought us menus. There seemed to only be 2 employees to serve the 12 people at the bar, as well as the 8 tables of customers. The waitress forgot to give us straws and silverware. When I went looking for some I circled the restaurant twice without finding anyone to help me. Waitresses were friendly but the whole restaurant was understaffed. As for the food: it was really pretty good. My daughter got the impossible burger and fries and loved it. I had the club sandwich (salty but still delicious), and my other children shared a pizza. I came with my family and we all ordered but our waitress "forgot" to put in my order. Then she gave my whole family their food and asked if I still wanted mine. The whole time when I was waiting for my food my family was complaining about how bad the food was. We are from out of town and looking for a good breakfast place - we found it!!! Had to double check when we got inside because it looks like a bar. We just had a 10 Star meal! My husband ordered the cordon blue on brioche, and I got the cheese omelet. Blown away with how delicious everything was! I haven't had an omelet that huge and delicious since I don't know when. First off the staff is super friendly and helpful. We stopped on our way up to mackinaw. Two had salads which were ok. Taco salad bowl was way overcooked and so we're chicken wings. Burger was really good and well made. Someone had a iceberg lettuce chicken salad and it was hearty portion. It looks like a good place to go to grab a drink and play the lottery games. read more

I want to give this 3.5 stars. It's good, but I wouldn't say "I'm a fan" quite yet. We stopped in during the week while we checked out the town, and this place caught our eye. It's a bar, but don't think it's not family-friendly during the day. All sorts of people were here. (Seat yourself.) Our waitress was new. Completely new. :) That's okay. Everybody's new once. You could tell she was nervous. I've been there. We found out that she was new because when my husband asked for beers on tap, she didn't know. But she was nice enough to bring the manager over to tell us everything that was available. We ordered the fried green bean app, grilled chicken salad, fish and chips and the patty melt. Food came out a little slow. The big problem was that the kitchen didn't make the salad my husband ordered, so he had to wait on them for that. The green beans were just okay. Nothing special and they weren't served with any kind of dipping sauce, which was odd. The fish and chips were okay, according to my son. Fries were your typically fries. Nothing too exciting. I tried his tartar sauce - it was a little different, but okay. I had the patty melt. I order patty melts all over the place, all the time. I love them. This one was truly in the top five that I've had. Juicy, tender, medium - not overcooked at all. Now I know that it's just a patty melt, and it's not anything too amazing as far as a sandwich goes, but I wanted to give kudos to this one. Most are too greasy and overcooked. I would definitely get this again if I was back in town. So - the verdict? While we had some service snafus, everything was decent, and we would stop here again when back in West Branch. read more

Ordered sliders had to wait for a long time for the food to arrive. When it arrived the sliders where burnt bad. So bad my five year old asked me if there was bacon on the sliders. I asked him why he thought there was bacon on them. He said because they where crunchy. So I looked at the sliders and they where black. I took pictures so you can see for yourself. While the food at Loggers is pretty good, they are not known for their speedy service. After visiting with my husband and a couple of friends a couple Saturdays ago I am afraid I have lost respect for the management of the establishment. Upon arrival a waitress, Kristine, took our drink order but informed us that she would not be serving us. Our server came over after a few and introduced herself. After bringing our drinks she disappeared without asking if we were ready to order. After probably 10 minutes the first waitress stopped to see how things were going. We informed her that we had yet to order so she took our food order and said she would see what was going on. The rest of the night our waitress, Ashley, stopped by periodically to check on us quickly but was not attentive to drink refills (a big no-no with my husband). She also took her time to bring the bill even though most of the dining crowd had gone by then. During this time we were asked how our service was. Not wanting to badmouth anyone we said it was fine, gave a minimal tip for lack of service and left. Later we found our that the first waitress to help us was reprimanded for stepping up where another waitress was lacking. She gladly took our drink and food order knowing she would not get our tip, but wanting to be helpful and serve her guests. For her kindness and excellent customer service she was rewarded with an unpaid leave. Had we known, we would have been honest with the manager that night. Going forward we will make sure to share our concerns with management so no one else is punished for another's shortcomings. read more
