We've been waiting for this spot to open, and were so excited to finally see it up and running when we arrived in town! Sushi Sake has total date-night vibes--super modern space, great atmosphere, and genuinely friendly staff. We love small bites, so we ordered shrimp shumai, gyoza, kani salad, a California roll, and chicken fried rice. Everything was incredibly fresh and tasted wonderful. The fried rice portion was huge--we took most of it home, and it was just as delicious reheated the next day. I had a very disappointing experience at Sushi Sake. I waited over an hour for an order that only had two items, which is already frustrating. To make things worse, one of the items was made incorrectly. When I placed my order over the phone, I clearly requested only steak and cheese on my item. When I arrived to pick it up, it had extra toppings that I specifically did not ask for. I politely explained that we had clearly stated this on the phone, but instead of trying to resolve the issue, I was told that the employee who took my order said we never mentioned it. That simply isn't true--we absolutely did. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of accountability and poor customer service made the situation much worse. Waiting over an hour for a small order only to receive it incorrectly and then be told it was my fault was very disappointing. I hope management takes customer concerns more seriously and works on improving both order accuracy and customer service. read more

I really really wanted to like this place. The servers were great. The atmosphere is great. It reminds me of blackbird but the one thing that isn't great is the Sushi itself. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you this taste just like Publix Sushi. You cannot sell sushi at this price and have it taste this mediocre otherwise you're never going to make it. I came here for my birthday dinner last night, and it turned into one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. There were 8 (two of which are 1.5 and 3 years old) people in our party, and every single one of us became sick afterward with severe vomiting, diarrhea, or both. I am currently pregnant, which makes this especially concerning, but the worst cases have been my sister and my 3-year-old nephew. My sister has been vomiting nonstop, has experienced such severe diarrhea that she has lost control of her bowels in her pants, and is now passing blood in her stool. My 3-year-old nephew cannot keep down even small sips of water or electrolyte drinks without immediately vomiting. We have been in contact with medical professionals and are closely monitoring both of them. The two people who became the sickest both ordered the chicken katsu, although everyone in our party became ill after eating here as we did all order chicken just not the katsu. When I called the restaurant to report what happened, I was offered only a partial refund, which was incredibly disappointing given the seriousness of the situation. A meal can be replaced. The physical illness, stress, missed work, and concern for a pregnant woman and a young child cannot. I cannot say with certainty what caused everyone's illness, but having all 8 people in our party become sick after eating the same meal here is extremely alarming. If you are pregnant, have young children, are elderly, or have a weakened immune system, I would strongly encourage you to use extra caution before dining here. I sincerely hope the restaurant investigates what happened so no other family has to experience what ours is going through. read more

I had a great meal here. Traveling on business so flying solo, and felt very at home and well taken care of. Michelle was my server and did a great job, and Jahn at the bar added an unexpected upgrade to my regular gin & tonic that I really enjoyed. My sushi order was simple, just a couple of nigiri that were great, then a tuna roll that was perfect. Nice quiet low key atmosphere, we need more places like this that focus on the food, atmosphere, and service, and fewer with screaming TVs everywhere you look. This place was hands down amazing to say the least. Contrary to other reviews on here this place left me and my girlfriend amazed. We showed up about 30 minutes after open opening and we were seated by Michelle, who was an amazing waitress. She showed me and my girlfriend Khloe to our table and introduced us to the menu and swiftly took our orders. She had such a positive attitude and was very social with us checking in every 5 minutes or so. The food here was on another level. This is the first place in town where I've had crab Rangoon's. That have had a good amount of crab in them. The sushi was amazing and the fish tasted buttery and perfect. Then Michelle recommended us the brownie tempura ice cream. Which was a brownie stuffed with what was like a half pound of vanilla ice cream, and it was surrounded with a sweet condensed milk and all deep-fried together to make a perfect crunchy cold and gooey brownie sundae. The environment in the overall ambience was amazing with a nice cherry blossom tree in the center, and I also noticed there was more traditional Japanese seating for larger parties off to the side. Overall, this place was an easy 10 out of 10 and it for sure has the best sushi I've had so far in Naples. I can't speak for any of the hot dishes or entrées really but I'm confident if they live up to the standard of the sushi and dessert that they would be amazing. We visited Sushi Saki some weeks ago and were favorably disposed so as to look forward to our next visit. That visit happened 1 April, 26. We noted some slow service and then our "waiter" came to our table to explain, stating that two of the staff (the only two waiter/servers) had unexpectedly laid out for the day. In addition, the manager was not present at the restaurant. The bar tender was waiting tables, serving the food, and clearing the tables. He is to be lauded for doing the best he could but he was so over-tasked that my wife had her food and all the necessaries while I was waiting for a knife and fork which the bar tender could not bring because he was too busy (not his fault). By the time I received the utensils my meal was cold and tough. We will not likely go to the restaurant again, but if we do we will call first to verify they are fully staffed. read more

First off let me say this review is not reflective of our waitress Michelle, who did her very best to accommodate us in every way. She gets a great review. The restaurant, however, was extremely underwhelming as my wife and I were looking forward to it opening for several months. We were met by a hostess, who was not only rude, but clearly didn't speak much or any English. Usually, this isn't a problem, but we were told we would not be able to sit at a booth when the restaurant was close to empty and only two or three tables were occupied. We then asked the aforementioned Michelle and she allowed us to move. That was nice. After we moved, we felt obvious glances and remarks that the hostess and her fellow weight staff we were speaking in Spanish and we couldn't understand, but giggling and pointing at us very blatantly. That made us uncomfortable and we consider leaving at this point, but decided to continue to give it a try. The menu was void of any classic sushi options such as in Alaska roll or simple rolls for the casual sushi lover. But the general sense we got was that they were more busy with preparing for the Friday night rush then they were dealing with the people in the actual restaurant. At one point, we had a hostess shining neon fluorescent lights in our eyes without even realizing she was blinding us as they continue to laugh and gossip about customers. The food itself was OK... Mid as the kids would say and the portions for what the price was didn't equate. Small rolls with lots of rice at a high price point. The food maybe I would give a three out of five stars, but the overall experience and ambience brought everything down to a two for me. Will not be back. read more

I went for lunch and had the hibachi shrimp special. The ginger dressing for the salad was stout and not edible. The vegetables and the shrimp or extremely salty. The fried rice was very good. But the fact remains that there are many more better options in town for a hibachi lunch at a much better price. read more

Sooooo gooooood! This place was just what we needed. My partner and I were looking for a comfy spot with good selection and Sushi Sake Naples brought it! Everyone was so nice and the setting was pretty nice too. We ordered a few rolls and the cabia ceviche was a new treat that we shared as an appetizer - order it with some chips (puffed shrimp chips?). We ended with dessert - the tempura brownie ice cream is enough for four people , but we were happy to give it our best taste buds. The evening was a great one, the folx and the setting and the food really got us walking away happy and talking about how yummy it was. The price was great! We felt the value :) read more

Unfortunately, Sushi Sake does not fill the Naples void of first class sushi. Ordered sushi dinner. Not bad, but pieces were tiny, smaller than the regular order size. Cheap shot. Unagi was mushy, like it may have been frozen. Miso was ok. Interesting sake menu. Service (Michelle} was attentive and pleasant. Nicely decorated.
