Like really good coffee. Really good. Smooth and deep and no bitter aftertaste. Just yum. Also have food items and the atmosphere is bright and clean. Good coffee, good pastries, but no place to sit even though there is a large interior. 1 Student w laptops sat at tables designed for four people which left couples no where to sit and enjoy their coffee. We sat outside for an hour and a half before a table inside opened up. We gave it 3 stars for effort. read more

I am very disappointed in the experience my boyfriend received when him and I visited this location today. I want to preface this that I come here regularly (3-4 times a week) on my own to get coffee and sometimes stay to study. So I love this place, but after today I'm not sure either of us will be back. We got two lattes, and then my boyfriend got the chef's special burrito for himself. ($20 & tipped 20% as we are in the industry, so we always tip sufficiently.) This part of our experience was great as the brunette woman taking our order who was so sweet. Our drinks tasted delicious. My boyfriend took a bite of his burrito & a TON of liquid, which looked like oil, came out. Along with that, the tortilla was super soggy in general. He kept eating the one half, but I could tell he was not enjoying it. His plate & TWO napkins were covered in this oil. He couldn't finish the other half, and he pondered if he should say anything as he knows how it goes when people complain about food. Nonetheless, he decided to say something since he couldn't even finish the burrito. The person he spoke to was a taller blonde who looked like she is in some time of management position. He was very nice in his explanation to her of what was going on with the food, and simply asked if something else could be made. Her first response was, "Well you ate half of it." NO APOLOGY. Like UMMMM okay? It was extremely rude, and the fact he couldn't finish it is an indicator that the food was subpar. The same blonde woman he spoke to brought his burrito. She handed him the plate, and as she was doing so he began to say, "I'm sorry for the..." but couldn't finish his sentence as she bolted away back inside. She didn't even look him in his face. There was ZERO acknowledgement on her end. She acted like HE had done something wrong, which he obviously hadn't. Neither of us have never experienced something like this before. This would be more understandable if my boyfriend had been rude and demanding, but he was very kind. This type of treatment is unacceptable. We'd rather go to a basic Starbucks where we can get fair treatment and sub-par coffee & food than here where we get ostracized for wanting a consumable burrito. read more

We visit Arizona frequently. We found this gem shortly after they opened. Everything was great! The food, service, coffee, cleanliness etc. It began a slow slide of decline every time we came back to town. This last time was very disappointing. The food options were lacking and they were out of food basics like ham and bagels. The seating area was not clean and the bathrooms reminded me of a gas station when your on a road trip( stinky and dirty)! Iam very disappointed. This place was a gem! Have been to Lola at this location twice and wasn't impressed. The environment is welcoming with lots of seating but the coffee could definitely be better, imo. I ordered an iced coffee the first time and it tasted sour. Went back another day and ordered a hot latte. It was also very tart and acidic tasting. Staff was nice and drinks are made quickly but good coffee shouldn't need a bunch of sugar syrup to make it palatable. read more

Such a cute spot. I've lived in this area for awhile and there hasn't been a cool hangout spot with good coffee around here in awhile and this new, modern & DELICIOUS shop is where it's at. They ground their coffee in house every morning & even have espresso infused WHIP CREAM!! Love it read more

Met with my friend for a coffee date on a Wednesday morning and the coffee was delicious. I ordered an iced dirty chair with oat milk and my friend had the matador- both were delicious if you like sweet coffee drinks. There is ample seating but it was also pretty busy- a good spot for working and studying. I also ordered the daily special burrito (ham, jalapeños, bell peppers) which was tasty but took awhile for them to make. I had my four month old with me and they don't have a changing table in the bathroom - just a heads up if you bring your little one with you. read more

My family and I have moved to Happy Valley for about 2 years and not until recently did I discover this gem. Lola's coffee is everything you need. I'm a big supporter for local businesses and Lola's coffee is just that. The coffee bean they use is robust and is filled with flavor to really kick start your day. I'm really big on cleanliness and organization and this establishment really keep their place spotless! Their staff is also the FRIENDLIEST people you are ever gonna meet. I've been coming to Lola's for almost 3-4 months now and it has been consistent with the customer service, their coffee is spot on and the place is just overall really what you need everyday of the week. read more

I have to say I really like this place! I was so bummed to see the previous coffee shop go but I actually like this one better. The coffee bean for the espresso they use is super yummy. Stopped by based on the yelp score and I was not disappointed. Wayne was behind the counter, very welcoming and called me by name. Cold brew with oat milk was very smooth. Also ordered the breakfast burrito of the day and it was made to order with generous amount of ingredients but not crazy big like some places.
