They have bags you can buy and they will grind the beans to what ever type of machine you have. Tried a chocolate chip cookie with salt and it was a yummy treat, esp warmed up. First off Lola Coffee is super cute. It's very quiet and if I worked from home I would come by here to work from time to time. However, I'm not sure if they have WiFi. They have tables outside as well and it would nice to bring my fur babies as well. I will say that the drinks are expensive. I got a medium Cafe Caramel with oatmilk. It came out to 8 dollars. Even with the high price the coffee was amazing. It wasn't just coffee with a ton of milk. You could taste the coffee but also enjoyed the caramel flavor as well. read more

I've been here a couple times & all my experiences has always been positive. However what compelled me to write a review today is because of their matcha latte. I usually get an iced lavender latte & it's good, not too sweet or milky, strong but not too overbearing, and overall their coffee just taste good. Today I thought about changing it up and ordered an iced matcha latte & usually when I order a matcha latte elsewhere, it's either too milky or watered down cause of the ice, so props to the barista that made my drink cause I could really taste the matcha. The service, drinks, and atmosphere stays pretty consistent & in my option, it's never a hit or miss so def recommend this place for coffee, tea, or even a pastry fix. Pros: -Parking (some people complain about parking but there's always parking whenever I go so I've never had trouble with it) -Good service -Quality drinks -Nice friendly atmosphere (usually students or family when I go) Cons: -Don't really have anything to say, however not sure if I'd want to study here cause there's usually limited seating available and it gets pretty noisy Overall, 5/5 cause of the drinks! read more

I had this bookmarked and noticed it was just on the other side of the street from my gym so I stopped in today! It is very cute in here. Plenty of seating, everything is nice and clean and bright! I felt like trying a new latte combo so I got coconut and cinnamon with almond milk. The barista commented that she hadn't heard anyone order that before so I was worried it would be nasty, but it was actually very good haha. It was relatively busy with only two girls working they were super efficient with helping everyone out and finishing orders in a timely manner. I've loved Lola since I stumbled on their Downtown Phoenix location nearly a decade ago. The West side has definitely been in dire need of a great coffee shop that brings all the things downtown brings. Located in a very busy shopping center Lola Coffee sits on the corner east to spot upon entry into the parking lot. Right away the bright orange chairs are visible of a great size patio. Upon opening the double doors it was obvious this location is well loved and has so many people working away on their laptops and enjoying their coffee and food. The location is bright and decor chill and inviting. Lola's menu is easy and pretty basic; mostly espresso. The cappuccinos are popular and though I'm typically a cold brew drinker I enjoyed the cafe caramel iced. The barista was awesome. She was all smiles, friendly and patient as I decided. My drink was made to perfection and sweetened just enough to let the coffee seep through well. I really liked how the inside was separated between cozy couch/chair seating to work stations and your basic tables as well so that anyone feels right at home. There is a great breakfast menu that includes avocado toast or my favorite the burritos. They also have muffins, croissants and such as well. If you haven't been to Lola definitely stop by this locally owned and hard at work coffee shop. With three locations you'll definitely have one close to you. read more

Definitely not a good spot for studying. Parking was a pain and so was finding a table to sit down at. The menu had some great options. I ordered an iced tea since it was very hot outside, but the espresso options looked great. I also ordered a lemon cake and it was just a little too sweet for my taste, but I did appreciate the cute packaging. The service was excellent. The baristas were kind and considerate and helped me chose a good option. The environment itself seems like it would be a really cool place to enjoy and study if there were more seating options available. They do have an outdoor patio that looked nice, but being in the Phoenix heat at midday was just not an option for me. read more

Went on a Wednesday at 11am. To my surprise, parking was quite limited. I parked over by a nearby business, a tea house, and perused down until I made it to the coffee shop. I noticed very few (maybe a handful of occupants in all of the other businesses combined), so I'm curious who is all parking on this side of the lot. Employees? The business shares its lot with surrounding businesses including a Fry's grocery store on the opposite end of the lot. First impression walking inside was that the place was spacious and well-lit, warm. No music was playing and the chatter was light as many people appeared to be studying or working. The place was pretty crowded with the average aged occupant in their lower 20s. It appears they have ample seating options but nothing was available inside to my dismay. They did offer seating outside, but I decided to order and drive home instead. They did have a public bathroom, which was not clean and it appeared someone had thrown up in the sink. The soap dispenser was also broken. They offered a small variety of pastries and a couple breakfast options. I ordered two medium mochas, hot, with whip. I received what appeared to be two smalls but I was told they were mediums. These are 8 oz cups. Staff were friendly. Overall positive experience. Until I got home to realize this is definitely not mocha. Tastes like a latte (I'm not a coffee snob, most times I get black coffee and add sugar, but I've had mocha before and this is definitely not that). Coffee was warm but not hot, had a nice whip but to me tastes like vending machine coffee. Very underwhelming. My spouse suggested I drive back to return the coffee - and possibly they exchange or refund me. I don't think it's worth the drive, but I appreciate my spouse's good natured intentions. read more

We love the co-working space the Lola offers at this location. The space seems small when you drive into the shopping center but it's corner spot offers so much room. Covid slowed so many things in life to a near crawl and one of those was construction, especially remodel construction. However, as the pandemic seems to wind down, construction is now complete on the new and beautiful Lola Coffee shop in the former Coffee Bean location in the Fry's center at 59th Ave and the 101. A riding buddy introduced me to Lola in downtown Phoenix on Roosevelt row over a year ago and I was instantly smitten. Cool location, excellent service, and the coffee was a couple of steps ahead of even Starbucks. Not sure what caused them to consider the lowly NW Valley but boy, what a blessing! Finally made it in a couple of days ago for an iced Americano and I nursed that heavenly nectar most of the morning. Also picked up a bag of their own roasted coffee-haven't tired it yet but just know it's going to be spectacular! Looks like solid wi-fi, tables and couches look comfy, plenty of social distancing, and a cool vibe with great Lola art on the walls. I'm hooked and will be back and am telling everyone I know, let's support this place! One, it's great, two, it's local, and three, let's show other local businesses that the West Valley means business! Great to have you in the neighborhood Lola! read more

I got a vanilla oat milk latte. Coffee tasted burnt. I can usually drink any coffee, I could hardly drink this. Barista was okay, didn't go out of her way to make the interaction personable. Cute place inside with lots of seating. It was pretty busy in the middle of the day with lots of people working on their laptops. This is my favorite place for my friends and I to come for 'coffee and gossip' sessions. The coffee and pastries are very good. The place does get busy - and can get loud inside, but there are tables outside to sit -as long as it isn't too hot - or too cold outside. I don't have any complaints - just a suggestion. have the servers put our name on our drink rather than just calling out the type of drink you ordered. Great place as long as your not trying to meet with someone. The music is always so loud (car jamming volume) you can't really have a conversation unless your right next to the person's. Great feel as you walk in or if you're studying though. So emotional heart to heart conversations... unless you want to loudly talk and broadcast it to everyone, go somewhere else. This is usually my go to place however i won't be going if I'm meeting people to talk. Every request to turn down the music never gets received. Great place to independently work. Over the past year My wife and I have been trying Biscuits and Gravy through out the valley. Today we weren't hungry and we're gonna stop for coffee. Decided to try this place since it was local. We noticed a sign that said they served biscuits and gravy on the weekends so we had to try. We're so happy we did! This is by far the best biscuits and gravy we've ever tried. The biscuit was airy and light but crispy on the outside, so delicious. The gravy blew us away with us flavor! We tried the sausage but look forward to the chorizo next. We will definitely be returning. The coffee and cheese danish were also amazing. We got an iced coffee and a latte, both were delicious. We look forward to the next visit! read more

My husband and I had brunch here with a friend. Our burritos were delicious and huge. We were allowed to choose from a list of ingredients to include in the burritos. I think there was a similar option for creating your own sandwich and one other dish. The cafe also offers some pastry which we did not try. I had a tasty coffee latte and my friend had a chai latte. (I saw 3 choices of teabags, but there may have been others.) The cafe is spacious with at least one long table with electrical outlets. We were lucky to get a table. Many tables were occupied by young people on laptops, perhaps Midwestern University students. There were also some outdoor tables. My husband and I will return and split a burrito. read more

I reached out after a $45/45 minute wait on a breakfast that turned out to be all wrong, and couldn't be fixed by the end of it as they had run out of a croissant at like 8am. It feels lame complaining about something like a coffee shop, but honestly it would have been better to never have you reached out if there will be no follow through. The solution offered to me was to drive the 25 minutes back to there shop for a refund on a sandwich. Have you seen gas prices? That's how much it cost to get there? Friday treat yo self day. So I decided to grab a cup of coffee and strawberry muffin donut from here. I went with the maple spice latte. It had just a faint hint of maple and was a smooth cup of coffee. Had just enough caffeine to get my day started right. Came in pretty hot temp wise. The strawberry muffin donut is something I have never seen and it's a fun idea. A cake donut with strawberry jam and a muffin top. It was okay, the jelly wasn't the best tasting I've had.
