What an amazing experience and meal. I think we were greeted and welcomed by every staff member. We were seated and greeted by our server, Brandon. He gave us a complimentary glass of chilled blueberry Sangria. So good and refreshing. Then we were offered a selection of fresh breads and the most amazing butter I had ever tasted! We started with Calamari Fritti. OMG! Not only was the portion incredible, it was crispy and fresh. My wife and I both ordered the boneless ribeye, a baked potato and Mac n cheese to share. We ordered the steak, Pittsburgh Style. It was perfect and amazing! Everything was delicious. Then, Brandon not only brought out a piece of chocolate cake for our anniversary, he also brought us a handwritten card for our Anniversary! We came to William B's for Mothers Day. We had never been here before. I booked a reservation for four of us for 6:00. I booked it a couple of weeks in advance. A couple of minor nits before I move to the review. We arrived a few minutes before 6 and they wanted to put the four of us at a small "corner booth" type table. Not sure how comfortable it would have been for four. It really seemed like a booth for two. They ended up seating us in the bar area, not the main restaurant which wasn't a huge deal since the bar area wasn't too busy. But on a day when most people make reservations (like Mothers Day) save a table for the reservation in the main restaurant. The other nit is the bread. It is not made onsite (I don't think) and it is brought on a tray with multiple options but to be honest, they were all cold and not fresh tasting. Not the end of the world but usually steak houses give a basket of bread that is fresh and warm. On to the good stuff. We had the Mothers Day Fixe Prix menu. Salad, steak and lobster medallions and a desert. It was amazing. Just the right amount of food. The presentation of all three courses was very nice. The chef and kitchen helpers really outdid themselves. The salad was good (nothing special beyond the plating) but the steak (filet) was like butter. Wonderful flavor and texture. The lobster was very well done. Two stalks of asparagus which was cooked just right. And finally the desert. A chocolate mouse sort of thing that I was not able to finish. It was so rich and wonderful. Our server was Trish and she was lovely. Very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The entire meal was about two hours which is perfect for a dinner like this. Went for my husband's birthday last night with another couple. We sat down and our server, Alex handed us the menus. I asked for the happy hour menu, as I told our friends how excellent the WB burger is, and it's only on the happy hour menu. He explained that happy hour is only in the bar area (the front area of the restaurant) and as we were in the back of the restaurant, happy hour wasn't offered. I said OK and we all started perusing the regular menu. As we were perusing the menu, Alex came by with an amuse bouche - a small pouring of their raspberry margarita and it was delicious! My husband, who doesn't care for raspberries nor tequila, drank his after tasting it, declaring that it was a damn good margarita. A couple of minutes later, Alex returned to tell us that he spoke with the manager and as the front of the restaurant was full, they were letting us order from the happy hour menu! We said that's awesome and said thank you. We ordered 3 WB burgers, the ahi poke stack (4/5) and stuffed mushrooms (5/5) from the happy hour menu, a French onion soup (friend said it was 5/5), fried calamari (10/5) and a ribeye from their regular menu (5/5). Husband ate his burger - all of it and said it was awesome, as always. Our friend's ribeye, according to him, was one of the best he's ever had. Our other friend and I got full from the ahi poke, stuffed mushrooms and the calamari. The calamari - my gosh, it was THE best I've ever had in Vegas! It was "fluffy" - not overcooked. And it tasted like calamari. Thinking of going back tonight just for that calamari. Alex brought over a small piece of chocolate cake for the husband for his birthday. Overall, an excellent meal. We went for Thanksgiving dinner. Service, ambiance and menu options were very good. Getting our food was slow. We arrived for a 6pm reservation and it became an almost 3 hour dinner event (including desert choices) due to waiting for food to be served. Despite that, the service staff was good. I had onion soup, the Sea bass dinner entrée, and the passion fruit creme brulee. The soup was good but almost too salty. The sea bass was very good. The passion fruit creme brulee was a small portion but very good. Overall, the experience was very good. The only two factors negatively affecting the experience was having to walk through a casino smelling cigarette smoke occasionally and the long wait for the food. I'm hoping that during their renovations a better smoke removal filtering system is installed for the casino floor area. read more

A pretty good steakhouse in Summerlin! My best friend and I came here for our celebration/pre-Christmas dinner. The restaurant itself is beautiful and rivals and Strip steakhouse. Our server, Trish, was great! Very friendly, yet polished and professional. She even took photos of us. Upon arrival, we got a sample of the cocktail of the day, which was a lovely touch! The bread service is indeed fantastic- I wish the breads were a little warmer, but they all were very tasty. I ordered the French Onion soup as my starter. It was piping hot, and the cheese was awesome, but I found it a little on the salty side. My friend got the calamari. I thought it was good, but nothing to write home about . We both got the boneless ribeye, medium rare. It was cooked properly, but could have used a bit more salt. It was an ok cut but definitely not the best quality meat. However, at that price point ($68), I'm not complaining! We got the creamed spinach and truffle fries as our side dishes. The fries were fantastic! The spinach again, was just ok. I think it was under seasoned a bit. I got the bread pudding for dessert, which was a little too sweet, but I still ate it all! My friend got the chocolate cake. She said the cake itself was great, but she didn't like the frosting. Overall, a very solid experience, and I would return. Definitely beats the hassle and pricing of the Strip. read more

SLOW SLOW service. This was our second time dining here and both times we have had the worst service and the same waitress, Patricia. The restaurant is very nice, quiet, and clean. Menu selections are great and the food quality was good when it finally came. It took 45 minutes to get the bread selections and an hour to get our appetizers. We sat another 40 minutes waiting for our Entrees and finally asked the waitress why it was taking so long. She came back immediately with our entrees and the steaks were cold, so they had obviously been sitting there waiting to be delivered. Overall there are other steakhouses in the area with similar food and better service. We will not be returning. read more

Spur of the moment dining adventure because the Asian restaurant was closed. Glad they were (I've dined there before) and William B's Steakhouse was so much better. I know you can't compare. I ordered a Conundrum red wine, not on happy hour and hub got a Heineken zero and his was two dollars off. I really wanted to try the filet sliders on happy hour that came with truffle French fries, but I also wanted some mashed potatoes...anything not on the happy hour menu is not available until after 5 pm, so keep that in mind. My family and I came here for Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately we were sat in the back of the restaurant. The server was a new face to us whom we had never seen before and let us know we could order their Thanksgiving turkey and prime rib dinners or off of the regular menu. My mother and brother ordered the turkey dinners and my husband and I ordered the prime rib. Since I only eat meat, I had all my sides/dessert/appetizer to go. The dinners came with butternut squash soup or salad topped with champagne vinegarette. The soups were very cream heavy and didn't have much of a butternut squash flavor. My mother asked if she could have ranch dressing on the side of her salad instead of the vinegar, but the server insisted that he cannot alter a Thanksgiving dinner item which I thought was pretty ridiculous. (How hard is it to bring a ranch dressing on the side?) So her salad was pretty terrible in her opinion. My mother and brother liked the turkey. My husband and I liked the prime rib, but we definitely prefer prime rib to be blackened and seared which is always how we ordered it at the former SC Prime. The desserts offered were pumpkin pie or pecan tart. My family said the desserts were decent, but nothing too exciting. read more

I am so excited to announce that there is a wonderful steak house right inside the Suncoast! No need to go to the strip, William B's got it all! A great cozy atmosphere that isn't loud. I've been there twice and both times the service has been great! The French onion soup is amazing along with the Wagu meatballs for appetizer. I love love the bread service. Yes, bread service! You get to pick your own bread. You have to try the white chocolate bread it isn't a desert but definitely a party in your mouth. All the steaks are fantastic along with their bernaise sauce. The must get for sides is the sweat potato mash, oh my goodness! There is nothing like it! It is definitely on my list for steak houses! I've walked by William B's often and noticed that they have a daily happy hour from 4-6pm, so we decided to give it a try. Located in the Suncoast Casino, there is plenty of parking. The Happy Hour menu featured a lot of items and everything we had was delicious. We tried the Pan-Roasted Seafood Tower, Mini Filet Sandwiches, Wagyu Meatballs (2X), the WB (cheeseburger), and Ahi Poke Stack. Please note that although the Happy Hour menu is available 4-6pm, you have to wait until 5pm to order off the main menu. Michael was our server and he did a great job. Was very attentive and able to answer all our questions easily. We sat in a table booth in the bar area. There were three viewable TVs and nice music. The booth was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the way seating was spread across different sections instead of packing everyone together--it made the experience feel more personal. Very enjoyable! We ordered the 42 oz. tomahawk for our party of 4. Started with calamari (very generous portion). It was crisp and flavorful, accompanied by 2 sauces. With our tomahawk, we ordered whipped mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. Both were delicious and yummy as well. The tomahawk was prepared perfectly at medium rare & fork tender. When COVID closed the casinos, the SC Prime steakhouse at the Suncoast did not reopen. After a few years, they have remodeled the area where the Italian Via Veneto was located on the first floor. I decided to give the new place a go. I made a reservation for a Wednesday night and was greeted when I arrived. I was shown to a banquette set up for two people in the dining area behind the bar. I had the corner booth and sat in the Wild Bill Hickok seat facing the door. It also gave me a view of most of the restaurant which as a solo diner is interesting and fun. My server, Brenda, came over and asked about water. She also showed me a small cocktail glass. The bar was making a special complimentary cocktail for the glass. I explained I don't drink and I ordered my iced tea which was promptly brought. I ordered onion soup, an 8 ounce filet, and street corn. Shortly, a gentleman came with a basket with 6 or so choices of bread and rolls. I chose a pretzel bun and an onion roll. Along with this, I was brought butter rounds topped with black salt. In a short time, the onion soup was brought. It had a rich broth. It was topped with gruyère and a thin piece of Parmesan flavored bread. The soup was very hot and the plate was also. My steak arrived along with the street corn side. The side was enough for two people but I did finish it as it was so very good! I asked for the steak to be cooked blue. AND IT WAS!!! This chef is not afraid to send out a steak with no char for looks but instead sends a steak that is brown on the outside and is cool and rare inside!! I asked Brenda to give him my compliments for doing that! The street corn had lime crema and cotija cheese. Even though the corn was large enough to share, somehow I managed to leave little behind. After ordering a double espresso, I looked at the dessert menu and chose the banana cream pie. I was blown away when it arrived. It was a thin slice, but it was huge. I took a photo with a regular dinner fork to show the length of the pie. With freshly sliced bananas, rich pastry cream, and whipped cream, it was an excellent way to finish this meal along with the espresso. The ambience of William B's is semi-dark--not so you need the light from your phone to read the menu, but not bright to be too bright! The music was at a decent level so as not to interrupt with conversation. The staff was absolutely wonderful! From the front of the house to my server, Brenda, everyone was welcoming and pleasant! I made a good choice and it will be a place to which I return. It now gives MRKT at Aliante a run for their money in my mind! read more

There are VERY few restaurants that can entice me to come out of my Henderson bubble and travel halfway across the universe to Summerlin...And this spot is one of them! Food: The tomato and burrata salad was the best tomato concoction my mouth has ever tasted :D My husband doesn't even like tomatos, and he thoroughly enjoyed this dish. Everyone at the table ordered the filet mignon and it practically melted in your mouth. We all ordered sides of asparagus, baked potato, sweet corn and mushroom orzo. We were looking forward to trying William B's Steakhouse. Unfortunately, the food quality was mediocre and wait time was very long even though restaurant was not busy. We were very dissatified with one of the food items we ordered and mentioned it to our waiter. He just ignored our comments and walked away. Quality of smash burger is better at BJ's restaurant! First impressions are very important in the restaurant business! We love going to Suncoast and thought we would finally have a good restaurant to visit every month. Very dissappointed. read more
