So for starters, they have a great happy hour, trick is it's in the bar seating area only, they do have a couple high tops set in the back should you choose to imbibe. The dining area and outdoor patio give a rustic country kitchen feel which suits their fresh seasonal ingredient filled menu. We have honestly never had a bad meal here. The food tends to disappear before we get to take pictures, sorry that's lacking. I've read the service here isn't good, but we've either been lucky or just have come on good days because we haven't had any issues. The only issue that is kind of a nonissue is that it gets busy fast, of the 3-4 times we've eaten here we've probably come 10 times and there was a loooong wait so we decided to go elsewhere. Everyone raved about their food but said the coffee left much to be desired as it was cold and watered down. Service was slower than we expected considering the restaurant was not yet very busy. Servers were not very attentive and seemed bothered when we wanted to place our order, but I get it...they were probably still waking up. It was obvious that isn't the standard as the person pouring water made sure our glasses were never empty, and the person who appeared to be head chef was fixated on details and making sure every dish went out perfectly - which it did. Fantastic food. So, I can forgive the slower servers but hope management addresses as it is clear there are high standards in this establishment. At the end of the day - would still take guests here and even drop in for brunch if it's just me and the hubby. Decor is cute. Menu is fun and every dish was fantastic. I had a really great experience at Honey Salt! The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had such a nice atmosphere. It feels relaxed and comfortable while still being a place you can come for a nice lunch or dinner. The service was also good. Our server, Fatima, was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal without making us feel rushed. I ordered the tuna poke bowl and really enjoyed it. It's definitely not your typical poke bowl, which I actually liked. It had a lot going on in the best way the tuna was fresh, the noodles were really good, and I loved all the different textures throughout the bowl. The crunchy tortilla strips on top added the perfect amount of crunch and made every bite a little different. The edamame, avocado, radish, and other fresh ingredients all worked really well together, and the portion was filling without feeling too heavy. Everything from the atmosphere to the food and service made for a really enjoyable experience. Fatima took great care of us, and I'd definitely return. The Honey Salt White Sangria was refreshing and easy to drink as well. For food, we ordered from the lunch menu. My friend's shaved steak sandwich was solid and overall satisfying. I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl, which unfortunately fell a bit short of expectations. The flavors were mild and it needed more salt, more hummus, and a heavier hand with the Greek yogurt tahini dressing. A beautiful place to go for brunch, the staff is always so friendly and always welcoming. I think even the manager came up to us while we were waiting to be seated to make sure someone had helped us. As always anytime I come here, I always have to get the bottomless mimosas and I love the blood orange and as usually it was perfect and my glass was never empty. For the table we shared the avocado toast (so good, we returned two days later to get it again). For myself, I got the hot honey butter chicken biscuit and it was delicious. On the second visit we did for the avocado toast, I also tried the espresso martini flights and I loved that you could taste the difference in all three. Found this spot while looking for lunch/brunch options and it did not disappoint. We had the BELT and chicken sandwich to share and they were very good! The BELT had a thick cut of bacon as the star of the dish, and the chicken sandwich had a nice crispy crunch that didn't feel too heavy. We got a couple of ginger shots with our meal, and then ended with the Society chocolate banana cake that could feed a whole family. Decadent, not too sweet, and basically tastes like banana bread with chocolate layers. It was good, but bring enough people to share it with! Honey Salt food and drink was on my list for a place to visit and today was the day I was able to try it. Met up with a couple of work colleagues and after perusing the menu, we all went with a light lunch/salad. Pleasant service and very attentive with keeping our waters filled. Nice décor and bar seating available. The avocado toast and green goodness juice was delicious 5/5 and would get this again. The lemon chicken salad was good 4/5 lacked enough vinegarette dressing and the chicken was kind of dry. Elizabeth's Caesar salad was good 4/5, the Tuscan kale and romaine was tossed in plenty of dressing but the house made torn croutons were dry and the added grilled chicken was also dry. Perhaps next time I will ask for extra black garlic dressing. They do offer weekly features for dinners, 1/2 off select wine bottles and weekend brunch! I would still love to come back and try their brunch with bottomless mimosa's and bloody's. They have lots of delicious sounding items from monkey bread, French toast and benny's. My parents wanted American food for dinner, so we came here one night during our week-long stay in Vegas. Service wss very friendly and attentive here. We were seated very quickly without having to reserve a table prior to our arrival. As a family, we shared the margherita pizza (which was more accurately a flatbread), steak frites with added shrimp, Brussels sprouts, and short rib. To be fair, there has only been one notable food miss. My sister once ordered the steak frites, and the steak arrived tough and noticeably gamey. Food quality is otherwise generally reliable. The ongoing problem at Honey Salt is not the kitchen -- it is the front-of-house service culture surrounding it. There are only two servers I've encountered who are consistently competent and attentive (one usually working Sunday dinner and a brunette woman with glasses behind the bar). Outside of those two, service ranges from indifferent to outright neglectful, and the contrast feels normalized rather than accidental. Honey Salt appears to operate with two service roles. Staff in black shirts -- the food runners -- are consistently professional and efficient. The recurring problems come from the blue flannel-shirt servers responsible for guest interaction, refills, and table management. The people delivering food do their jobs. The people responsible for hospitality often do not. The most recent visit was simply the latest example. Sitting at the bar, I watched the bartender check in with every guest around me while completely skipping over me. After taking my order, she did not speak to me again until I had to ask for the bill myself. No check-in, no acknowledgment. Only after I handed over my credit card did she suddenly drop off a drink saying they had made an extra, then immediately walked away. A last-minute free drink does not erase an entire meal of being ignored. This is not isolated. It is a pattern. Brunch service is consistently the worst offender. One recurring server minimizes interaction to the bare minimum and treats guests as inconveniences. During bottomless mimosa service, he intentionally uses oversized glasses to reduce refill frequency, rarely checks in, and ignores polite acknowledgment entirely. Drinks eventually arrive, but the attitude makes it feel like you are imposing simply by being there. On multiple brunch visits, I have effectively been forgotten. On one occasion, after waiting and asking other staff for help with a refill, I ultimately had to walk to the bar myself. My only complaint would be they seasonally change their menu and I've already fallen in love with a dish and then it will be gone. (Hint hint spicy rigatoni and the sizzling shrimp dish) Steve is our go to server but everyone is excellent and knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. The happy hour is SOLID! I ended up going with the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. By default it comes with a side caeser salad. My SO got the BELT, and I kid you not it had the thickest slice of bacon I've ever seen. I enjoyed my fried chicken sandwich, and the side caeser was really good. But the bacon on my SO's sandwich was quite over done, and she ended up picking around most of it. My husband tried the burger. The prepared it medium-rare as requested. It also came with freshly fried fries that had fluffy interiors. It was very good. We had the macaroni and cheese (with kale) before and loved it last time. It's made with very good croutons that taste house made. Last time it had a great cheesy taste. This time it was much saucier...At first I thought I tasted cream cheese but when I ate a little more I think they slipped with a little too much sour cream or something that is similar to sour cream? labne? yogurt? because it was stronger tasting than the cheese flavor. The vibe inside is really cute, leaning into a modern country style with a cozy yet stylish feel. Service was excellent throughout our visit. The corn soup bisque and frittata were flavorful and comforting, and my chicken lemon salad was fresh, bright, and satisfying. The only downside of the visit came at the end when I ordered a hot coffee to go. Unfortunately, the cups they use just aren't practical--the lids don't stay on securely, and it was nearly impossible to hold without risking a spill. Even though the staff kindly warned me to be careful, the lid still slipped, and I spilled coffee on the table and floor. The staff handled it graciously and didn't make me feel bad about it at all, but ultimately I ended up dropping the coffee in the parking lot without taking a single sip. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend ordering hot coffee to go here until they figure out a different cup situation. Came for a pre-set dinner and honestly every course was a hit. The Margherita pizza was the perfect starter--fresh mozzarella, basil, and olive oil with a crispy thin oven-baked crust. I have been waiting to try Honey Salt for a while, so when my friends and family surprised me with dinner at Honey Salt for my birthday, I was genuinely excited. Unfortunately, that's not what we experienced. We were a party of eight. Our server, Megan, started by taking drink orders from only two people and one starter. While she was doing that, she kept going back and forth to other tables handling their drink orders and appetizers, leaving the rest of us sitting there waiting. At first, I brushed it off because it was my birthday and I didn't want to focus on anything negative. But as the night went on, it became harder to ignore. A table seated behind us about 30 - 35 minutes after we arrived received their entree's before we did. They were checked on consistently and had refills without even asking. Meanwhile, we could barely find our server. We politely asked other servers /staff members walking by for refills and assistance, but no one followed through. It wasn't until my friend flagged our server down and asked how much longer our food would be that it suddenly appeared. When the food finally came out, most of it was already cold. There was very little interaction. No checking in, just a feeling of being overlooked. What stood out even more were the stares from some staff members, including a manager at the bar who never once looked up from his phone. It's uncomfortable to say, but the treatment felt different. When you see other tables receiving consistent care while your group is ignored, it's hard not to question why. No one should feel judged based on how they look, the color of their skin, or their tattoos. Hospitality should be equal. Respect should be equal. Basic courtesy should be equal. To make matters worse, when the check was brought out, we were mid-conversation and were asked, while the server looked down at the bill, "Is everything okay?" It didn't feel sincere. Our friends from Hawaii were visiting and they wanted to try Honey Salt out, being a James Beard nominated restaurant we were very excited. We made reservations for about 530 , we arrived on time and were greeted right away. The staff were friendly and got us seated right away. Our server came over immediately and was friendly and got us started with some drinks. She recommended the Vanilla espresso martini and it was amazing. It tasted great and was strong!! I have to say our server was great, she was super attentive and had great suggestions. We started with the monkey bready and the crudite. The carrots were so sweet and tasty !! I had the burger and it was good, there were so many options I just decided to go with that. It was tasty and honestly everyone's meal were delicious!! Stopped by again and the food is still very delicious. Our server was nice but no energy, seemed irritated we didn't order apps or drinks. It's ok, maybe she was having an off day. I visited this restaurant for brunch this past Sunday with 12 girls. We had a reservation. At the time the reservation was made, we were told that they couldn't accommodate our group at one table. They told us they would give us 2 tables for 6 people each. We were ok with that. We just assumed the tables would be next to each other but they weren't. Why would you sit a group of people together in a way that they can't communicate with each other at all? Our server was ok but she was kind of rude when I asked her if we could have separate checks. She rolled her eyes at me and said she could do 3 separate checks for the table. I do appreciate her doing that but her eye roll was unnecessary. Our food was delicious. I really enjoyed my bacon grilled cheese sandwich and Caesar salad. The food runner did most of the work serving our food and refilling our drinks. He was excellent! We came to Honey Salt for brunch and overall had a pretty good experience, though it had its highs and lows. The place was packed -- I think there were a few graduation parties going on -- and the parking situation was atrocious. It took a while to find a spot, and the restaurant was buzzing when we finally got inside. Because it was so busy, service was a bit slow, though our food came out surprisingly fast. The noise level was intense. The acoustics aren't great, and I found myself yelling across the table just to be heard. Definitely not ideal if you're hoping for a chill, conversational brunch. Food-wise, though, they nailed it. My son ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and I kept stealing bites -- and I don't even like red sauce! I had the fried chicken Benedict, which was delicious. The chicken was perfectly crunchy, though I wish it came with more sauce. We ended with the Brookie, and I swear the ice cream must have crack in it -- salted caramel with chocolate chunks that was outrageously good. Would I come back? Yes, but probably on a slower day... and I'd get there early to snag a parking spot. read more
