Lola's is a cute location with fabulous food! The lobster tacos and quesadillas were The standouts. I love the app discount. However, the man with purple hair was super rude while we were ordering for no reason, he could work on his delivery and way with words, I know this from being in the restaurant industry for years.

The food is always tasty here. The service is great and the atmosphere is pleasant! The price is also right! If you'd like a quick flavorful bite to eat- stop in! Take advantage of their Happy Hour specials l!

‍ 2 Steak Trompo Tacos, 2 Baja Shrimp Tacos, Spicy Street Corn, Orange Mojo Rice, 3 Beans, Chips & salsa, a margarita, & a Modelo....all for just under $50, good value The service was fast and friendly (& they were packed), the salsa was good, Tacos were delicious, loved the corn. There was a lot of energy in the room & vibrant decor. We thought they were doing a great job (especially for a new business). I didn't really taste the orange flavor in the Mojo Rice, but it was good.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Lola's! So excited to have another dining option in Grosse Pointe Woods! Love the always changing selection of tacos, burritos, and bowls. The chips, salsas, and guac are so fresh and flavorful. And the margaritas (both frozen and on the rocks) are delicious and a great value. Their patio is so nice, and they have happy hour deals every day!

I love this 3 bean side for $3

I love new things. Blame it on my ADHD. Lola's is new and much needed. The Pointes lacks solid fare options. I was overall really pleased with Lola. My Baja shrimp taco was yummy. The salsa was spicy, the nachos were good, I highly recommend the 3 bean mix for $3 and my margarita was darn good. I left full and satisfied for $20. The manager is on it too. Nothing but good things to say about Lola's.

I ordered the steak trompo taco and chili lime fries with avocado ranch for pickup and everything was delicious! The fries were the most well seasoned fries I've ever had and the sauce was sooo yummy I would get it again! The inside was super cute and the workers were nice!

Plastic Silverware and paper plates. Small tacos...guacamole in plastic cups. Felt like dorm food. Not for serious dining.

Tacos are out of this world! Shrimp and Rotisserie Chicken were my favorite. You also have to try the queso. 10/10 high quality ingredients

Let me start by saying: I love a great taco. Hell, I love an average taco. It might be my favorite…read morefood. I have had tacos from almost every corner of Norteamerica. The man who creates the tacos at El Loco Panda does so with love, and you can tell - Love for his culture, Love for the community. When I was waiting for my order to be wrapped up, a disciple sitting in the waiting area piped up and said, "The food here is good." If I know Detroiters (cuz I am one), we're not quick to compliment. Like Mexico, there is great diversity in what we consider to be a "taco." You have ground beef, Al pastor, chicken, sea bass, mahi mahi, vegan. You can top it with everything from queso Fresca to a refined julienne radish slaw. IDGAF! As long as it's fresh and well done, I'm here for it! My favorite here? The birria by far. The consommé served on the side is quite delicious and unexpectedly elegant, like a rose from the concrete. I feel like Loco Panda and its' chef reflects the essence of the east side of Detroit. Lemme 'splain: The tacos are hearty. They are heavy with meat and (gasp) yellow cheese sauce. So hearty, he had to double up on tortillas! He further bucks tradition and goes against the grain stylistically (soooo Detroit) and tops with red onion instead of white! Where they do that at?! Whereas you usually need to eat 3-4 street tacos from the festival trucks or Southwest to get full, you'll be full off of 1-2 of these, trust. Think like the good "real" Mac n cheese that we eat versus Kraft . Think "dressing" versus "stuffing." I think what I am trying to say is, ..... these tacos have soul. I don't even think about the fact that it's housed adjacent to a gas station. That doesn't matter to me. So long as the kitchen is clean (and it is), I'm good wit it. As a matter of fact, I take away that the food mattered more to this owner than the zip code it was cooked in (shout to subpar, high rent Bakersfield on Woodward). This is real food cooked from the heart. And quite frankly, it doesn't get any better than that.

Eventually, the woman handling takeout - who also seemed to be the host, came out from the kitchen and got us taken care of. Now let's talk about the vibe... chef's kiss. Every corner felt intentional - photo-worthy walls, cozy booths, and even the bathrooms had a moment. Definitely a spot you come to just as much for the aesthetic as the food. Food-wise, it was good, not mind-blowing. I ordered my go-to chicken fajitas and they didn't quite make my "craving this again" list. BUT the flautas? Those were the standout for me and I'd absolutely order those again. Overall: come for the vibe, stay for a few solid bites, and don't skip the flautas or the margs! cheers!
