The tacos are every bit as good as people say and the environment is clean and relaxed, they usually have some good music playing too. Authentic, flavorful, consistent, and made with care. But the birria is the real star for me. Hands down, it is the best birria I've had anywhere in Metro Detroit. Rich, tender, packed with flavor, and exactly the kind of thing you think about again later like it owes you money. The owner is also genuinely one of the sweetest people. He remembered my order after only a few visits, and that kind of personal touch makes the place feel even more special. I usually stick with my Mexican Coke, but I love that they have their liquor license now, because a margarita or Corona with the food is a very solid upgrade. I've brought a bunch of people here and sent a whole handful of others, and everyone has said the same thing. It is some of the best Mexican food they've ever had.
