Ordered via Uber Eats for the first time. All the meat tasted day old, stored in water, and reheated in a microwave. All the meat... chicken, steak, chorizo, carne was not edible. The street corn tasted like a can of corn uncooked with way too much lime. The nachos and cheese tasted like nacho cheese out of a can. The chips tasted like they were overcooked in oil that should have been replaced months ago. Spent 47$ and ate maybe 10$ worth. Mostly the nacho cheese with our own tortilla chips and most of the street corn. Was looking to find something local like Imperial in ferndale. Won't order again. I enjoy my chorizo bowl pretty tasty, i love the trace liche cake and the tortilla chips, addictive! The gentleman in the restaurant provided me with everything that I needed. When I order my items to be separate, I appreciate the accommodation, quick service. No other customer were in the place dining, so I had it all to myself Which was a cool, clean space I would recommend to try it out if you haven't yet. Got a carry out from Amigos Street Tacos on Greater Mack in SCS last night! I've been to their location in Sterling Heights and finally made it to their spot in town. Owner was incredibly kind and all the employees were nice and hard working. Opted for the crunchwrap, which was filled to the brim with beef, cheese, sour cream and beans. Very filling -- I couldn't even make a dent into it! I look forward to enjoying more of it later today. Boyfriend loved his crunchwrap and tacos. Everything was very flavorful and fresh! Came here for the first time because I was craving birria tacos and this place was recommended by a friend. The tacos were good, they hit the spot! Very filling and meaty, but some may say that it needs more cheese. It came with 3 birria tacos and it was a good portion for me. We ate in the restaurant and they gave complimentary chips and salsa as well. The service was kind and attentive, you order at the register and they just bring the food out to you. Everything we ordered was very fresh and very delicious. The atmosphere is cozy. We sat at a 1/2 booth (1/2 chairs & 1/2 bench) with Mexican style pillows, very comfortable. The server was so nice! My first visit was positive, my second visit was disappointing. I posted my experience of both online and the owner of the restaurant sent me a nasty message that I wasn't going to respond in the same negative way she was. I told informed her that if she continued I would post her message on the neighborhood app and she stopped. I just think it's sad that you can't post truthful experiences within an owner seeing an opportunity to better their business and try to improve on it. Twelve stars for Amigos!! OMG we just finished such a feast! No wimpy portions or flavors here. We couldn't decide so we had tacos locos, chicken quesadilla, crispy wrap, chicken fajita bowl, fish tacos and fresh made chips from their fresh-made tortillas. No idea they would offer such huge portions. There was a guy at the counter eating a special burrito - he needed two hands to get around that thing and it looked awesome. Although they're a newer restaurant in the area, I was a bit underwhelmed by the overall service for carry out. I got the birria crunch wrap, which was significantly smaller and soggy compared to the other crunch wraps. The cashier was also not super friendly and didn't help anyone in line get clarification of what is in their food. That being said, I got the Mangonada, which was great, but not worth the $10 for the size. I'd rather save the calories and go downtown to Mexicantown, or down the street to Plaza Mexico, but it does help hit a quick craving if you can get past the cranky cashier and unnecessary price. read more

Not that worth it! Spent 64 Dollars on food. No one finished anything. My stomach was messed up for three days! Queso is definitely not homemade and the guacamole is definitely store bought. Great food!!! This is sort of a take out place. They have tables and outside seating. We went tonight and you order and can take it out or eat there...but either way you get your food in takeout containers. Not saying this as a negative...just a review Having said that....I believe tonight I had the best quesadilla I've ever had in my life. So good...big and stuffed with chicken and cheese and homemade guacamole!! Also had some chips and queso. The chips were definitely made there...fresh and hot! Also had the chicken fajitas bowl. I have been wanting to check out Amigos for a while now, since they recently opened a location here in the shores. I ordered doordash as I did not have my car on this day. Delivery was really fast, making me think they were not busy yet, so I was excited. I ordered the chicken tinga bowl and a side of elote. The elote was overpowered with lime juice and Inedible, to me. I like lime juice, but the amount they use is clearly too much. The tinga bowl did not come with tortilla strips as indicated on the menu. It also came with cheese and sour cream. This was NOT indicated on the menu item. I am locatose intolerant, so my meal was basically ruined. I can handle the type of cheese they use, but sour cream doenst work for me. Upon my first bite of the bowl, I got to chew on the lovely bay leaves they failed to remove from their meat. CARELESS. For a newer establishment, especially in a location that turns over businesses every few years, I don't anticipate this place to last with how careless they already are. I ordered the taco combo. The tortillas were spongy and fell apart immediately, I had to use a fork and knife. The dry, overcooked beef was completely unseasoned, there was a lot of chopped cilantro and a few chopped onions. The "combo" meant some refried beans and a lot of rice, along with some lime wedges and a little container of some sort of dressing or sauce that had very little flavor. I really like this place. Have only been here once but everything we ordered was spot on. Can't go wrong with the grilled chicken bowl, very nice portion and very filling. The chips and salsa were good, the chips were crispy and not salty. Thicker, so they can hold Some salsa without breaking. I also tried a pork taco, really nice and fresh.
