Wow what a pleasant surprise, really tasty Mexican comfort food with endless supply of chips and salsa! Dishes ordered- chicken enchilada, beef and carnitas tacos, chili verde. My mom also had a margarita. I'm glad we decided to eat here vs La Calle (they charge for chips and salsa- Lolita's does not!) Very good value and noticed a lot of take out orders

Excellent fresh Mexican food. Love the fajitas- not too salty. The tamales are yummy. Ask for the spicy salsa if you'd prefer the spice. It's our favorite place.

So far so good.. chips&salsa are great! I ordered the chili Colorado with no rice and with corn tortillas. 1. The portion was great. 2. The red sauce was fantastic! The beef was nice and easy to cut with a fork and not chewy. Definitely 5 for me. Will definitely repeat once I've made my local rounds and reviewed all the local Mexican restaurants. Later this week look out for a review of their Huevos Rancheros. My wife ordered a veggie burrito.

The food was delicious, honestly one of the best spots I've had in awhile. Definitely will be coming back

    Chili Chile Colorado

With a friend's recommendation, my brother and I decided to try Lolita's for lunch yesterday. Sure glad we did! My chili colorado was fork tender with delicious red sauce with rice and very smooth refried beans- in generous portions. Brother was impressed by his heaping mound of steak tostada with a heavy dollop of guacamole. We both readily agreed that the flour tortilla shell was much better than the chips served with salsa while awaiting lunch. We would buy those chips as an upgrade over the freebie chips!! We are both looking forward to a return trip to try more of Lolita's offerings.

Asada super burrito. Large modelo draft.

Walked right in. I dont know how this place is empty. Get an asada super burrito. You wont be upset. Friendly staff. And absolutly zero wait time to be seated. A true hidden gem that more people should know about. Draft beers and margaritas available. Booths, bar seating and larger tables for bigger parties. Plenty of parking.

Choose your own table and the server will bring you menus. No loud music playing so you can easily chat with your group. The sever delivered some fantastic salsa to go with their fresh tortilla chips. I ordered the vegetarian super burrito. It came with bell peppers, onions, squash, and spinach. The veggies were tender crisp. It is a huge burrito. I could barely eat half. Highly recommend for vegetarians. It is a big step above just bean, rice, and cheese burrito. Service was really good. Step up to the counter to pay.

Enjoyed the Chili Relleno for lunch today. Very tasty, good service, and reasonable prices.

When I proceeded to tell her that was extremely unprofessional and rude, she then hung up on me and told me to "fu€k off"! We were meeting a friend and they had gotten a table for us before we arrived, but it wasn't busy and there were plenty of tables available. We're glad we had a chance to try Cantina Pedregal before it changes into Nixtaco- although now having been to both you're going to have delicious food either way. The restaurant is beautiful and whoever did the interior design was so thoughtful with the furniture, colors and ambiance. It's very warm, welcoming and calming inside. A great date spot or place for a meeting. The lunch menu has a good variety of options, and is broken down into smaller bites/appetizers, salads, main plates, and then sides. It's a nice spot to share dishes so you can try more items and share the sides. We ended up getting the chips and salsa ($7) with an extra salsa ($4), Grilled Black Half Chicken ($23), and Fideo Seco ($14). Our friend got the Carne Asada Tacos ($24), Refried Beans ($12), and Red Rice ($10). The sides were shareable and needed, since the entrees came on their own. Our friend added some of the beans, rice and Fideo Seco on their tacos and our chicken did come with some tortillas to make our own tacos or eat on it's own. Everything was high quality and flavorful. The Fideo Seco was surprisingly my favorite item. It is vermicelli pasta with sofrito, chorizo and egg yolk and was very tasty. The chicken was good, but hard to eat without using your hands to get all the meat off the bones- the messy hands didn't seem to fit with the restaurant vibe but we loved the flavor and how tender the chicken was. The salsa was good and the chips were fresh, but it seemed like a lot to charge $4 for the ramekins of salsas. I would pass on chips and salsa next time. Overall it was a great vibe, high quality food and good service. Definitely more of a treat meal or great spot to impress a date or business client. For a regular chill meal it felt a bit expensive, but I think they're going for more upscale.

We ordered drinks my favorite one was called Sol Dorado . I wish they had more Gin drinks I had the only Gin drink called Brissa Del Mar but ,I was not a fan . For food we ordered the Caesar salad , sweet potato which was amazing. For our main dish we ordered the cazuela (Asado De Puerco ) which is pork stew it came with handmade corn tortillas . We made some delicious tacos out of it . I had to get dessert they all sounded so good! We got the Smoked Pumpkin Tres Leches delicious. Overall, it was a different experience the food is a bit different and I'm Mexican BTW but it's from a part in Mexico called Monterey every part in Mexico has their own way of cooking . The menu its self is different you order to share . It's a little on the pricier side but the portions were a good size for sharing . I feel like for the main entree there is not that many options on there wish to see more . Overall we had a great time . Great food and ambiance.

There was no wait, and the high-top seating was surprisingly comfortable. Our server was welcoming and attentive, and the service was fast from start to finish. Between the great music and lively atmosphere, you can't help but want to dance while you eat! I ordered one of my favorites--the chicken sope. It was perfectly crispy on the outside while still soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicken was packed with flavor, and the rice and beans were just as delicious. The salsa that came with it was the perfect finishing touch, adding just the right amount of spice and an extra kick of flavor. My hubby ordered one of the carne asada dishes (so sorry, I forgot the name!). He said it was one of the best cuts of meat he's had at a Mexican restaurant in a long time--super tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We had such a fun night! I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. The Steak a la Chicana was a generous portion, which is definitely 2 meals for me. Cilantro rice wasn't anything special. The SWEET CORN TAMALITO is yummy comfort.
