Lolita's is an awesome restaurant that's an amazing addition to the PK food scene. We've dined in twice and had a great overall experience. Excellent food, cocktails, beer, and dessert. Wood-fired pizzas are filling and taste just like they should - fresh out of the oven. I recommend getting two pies, and if you don't finish all, you can easily save the leftovers. The pepperoni is my favorite. Lolita's offers fun cocktails, wine, and beer. It was here that I first had Barrier Brewing Money IPA. Since then, I've put this in my top five IPAs. On a whim, we ordered dessert back in February, a peanut butter jelly plate (I can't even describe it: like a red grape sorbet with peanut mousse). Hands down one of the best (and unique) desserts I've ever tried (all made in house). If you order from Lolita's, you MUST get the Kale salad. It's so good and comes with more than enough for 3-4 people. Online ordering is easy. You can place your order and get live updates on your pickup window. Text alerts are available too, and they offer to bring the food to your car if you want. So happy to have Lolita's in our backyard. Tip: parking can be limited on the street. read more

This place is so good. The kale salad is honestly better than the chrysanthemum salad at Don Angie in the city. They always have great pizza specials to spice up their already good menu. The restaurant is pretty small and packed with people but once you try this place you will know why it is packed. It was honestly one of the best pizza/ italian restaurant I've had. I got their sweet and spicy ricotta pizza and their mac n cheese and omg words can't describe how good it was! I understand why this place has full 5 stars. The servers were also very nice. Lolita's is my second go-to place for fancier pizza in Poughkeepsie (Zeus is my other go-to). Their leopard crust is gorgeous, but also with just the right amount of char and structure-to-flop ratio. Their tomato sauce is a little sweeter than most places, but I prefer it that way. They do classic pizzas just right and have nice twists on some of their white pies. While I'm partial to their pepperoni and mushroom pizzas, their broccolini pizza is the most pleasant surprise with a bit of a more citrus profile that really compliments everything nicely. I've also tried their kale salad and it's pretty good (coming from a non-kale lover). It's cheesy and lemony which I didn't think would go so well together on top of kale, BUT it works. The staff there are friendly, but I don't remember interacting with them much. The atmosphere is also nice and perfect for a casual girl's day or a date night. Ok... here is the deal... one of THE BEST pizzas I have ever had. It was on the Specials menu the night we went... Broccolini Pizza. My co-worker got a pepperoni. The Broccolini had a hint of lemon with a slight kick coming from somewhere. See pic... it was so flippin' good. We sat at the counter by the kitchen... best seat in the house. The chefs were all friendly. Server was attentive and friendly. Parking stunk a bit but we eventually parked in the small lot right behind the restaurant as we could not find street parking. They offered their favorite recommendations, checked on us often and the bartender made the BEST gimlet. Such a great Italian restaurant in an area so saturated with Italian places. When I heard Lolita's had "great pizza" at first I thought "yeah so is the place down the road", but after trying their sourdough wood fired pizza I genuinely agree they have "great pizza". The pastas are runners up, such great pasta that are common favorites (cacio e pepe) to unique lumache and the cresto de gallo. On top of that the staff is wonderful, truly feels home-like. Discovered this spot on a recent weekend weekend getaway to Walk Over The Hudson. its conveniently located right below the stairs at the start of the bridge. They had outdoor dining in their patio and I was able to bring my small pomeranian dog. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. I had Matt's Mac and Cheese and the flavor and pasta consistency were yummy. For a Cocktail I chose the Post Watermalone. LOL at the name. it was well balanced and very refreshing. The butternut was so unique too. The ingredients always taste super fresh and the cheeses are remarkable. The service was so prompt and they are very compliant with COVID precautions. Want to also recognize their exceptional customer service. We ordered takeout from here in January and a mistake was made with our order that we only realized once we got home with our pizza. We called and the manager said he would comp is a $20 gift card available for us whenever we next went to the restaurant. I was a bit skeptical since he said he didn't need our name or number but he would remember.
