The good reviews took us here. They were right. The staff is friendly, the food is great. The manager said they were testing some new dishes not on the menu. I tried the chicken in red wine (no name yet). It was very tastebud friendly served with vegetables (brocolli and carrots) and mashed potatoes, with french bread. My girlfriend had the beef molcajete from the menu. (enough for two). This was served with onions, cheese squares, cactus, and pineapple in a tomato based chorizo sauce with corn tortillas. Unbelievable taste. Everything on the menu looks good. I recommend trying this place for some authentic home cooked food at a reasonable price.

This is the best meal I've had between years of trips to Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo, Todos Santos and La Paz combined. You MUST go here. I am lucky that my in-laws have a place here and when I come, I have time to explore. We have eaten at Flora Farms, Los Tres Gallos, Casa Don Rodrigo, Rosa Negra and many more... Lolita's tops all of them. It is the most authentic, the most delicious, and the most affordable. Wish I'd found it sooner. The Pozole blew my mind. Make sure you load it up with the cabbage, cilantro, radishes, limes and jalapeños they give you on the side. I asked for the recipe but they thanked me and wouldn't give it. Delicious!!! Please also keep in mind that I am coming from a privileged (snobby) food background and have lived and eaten through Portland, San Francisco, and New York City. Go to Lolita's!

The food was amazing! The chile poblano everything I have been craving since I arrived. My husband had a steak that was cooked perfectly. The portions were large and the prices were very reasonable. This appears to be where the locals come.

Before leaving to the airport decided to stop here for some posole and birria. The set up of the restaurant is nice. It has a bunch of art on the wall and the decorations around the restaurant give it a nice feel. I also like how the service is I had all my needs attended. The food is good. I liked the birria a lot more than the posole so if you come and you have to pick between the two get the birria lol This spot isnt too far from downtown cabo so you can easily walk here. Prices are reasonable and the food aint that bad. They also have some freshly squeezed orange juice. Pros -Close to downtown -Food aint bad -Prices are good Cons -Bathroom sucks

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. It has that Mexican family run restaurant charm. Owner runs the place and he and his family and employees are worth the trip but definitely the best margaritas I have had anywhere in the world I have been!

The restaurant was wonderful, me and my friend had a great time at the restaurant, the food and drink was delicious, it was just the Mexican breakfast we were looking forward to eat

Still the best Margarita in Cabo. We come every year to Cabo and eat & Drink here several times each year. It's truly a hidden gem!

Alfredo"s restaurant is the best in Cabo San Lucas! Love this open air cafe. Huge and really luscious margaritas with the simplicity of the guacamole is worth coming for alone, however, stay for breakfast, lunch or dinnner. The house soup of broth and vegetables is delicious. Daily fresh catch of the day can be served 7 ways! The staff is welcoming and efficient however may not speak fluent english. Alfredo is a gracious host and makes you feel like you are a guest in his home. You have to try this place!!

Best soups and fresh squeezed margaritas. I had the Birria. They where sold out of their beef and vegetable but I'm going back earlier in the evening sometime to get it.

Soup was wonderful but chicken entree didn't match it. Lonely to dine in a restaurant where you are the only people.

Came here for a friend birthday decided to check them out. It's a rooftop restaurant with an open…read morefloor, but it gets a bit warm since they do have a canopy kind of covering the top and only two fans. They do have the kitchen cooking all the meats right next to the bar, so all the heat from the flames Are right next to all the tables. The food was decent. It was in the greatest. It was slow so we had great service.

I went in solo on a Sunday Eve. I was a bit early (6 pm) but more groups arrived later. The staff…read morewas friendly, and the waiter knew just when to show up. The atmosphere was open air, music and vibe were chill. I tried the Rodizio. The starters included a creamy zuchinni soup that was surprisingly tasty, a spinach salad with walnuts, crumbled bleu cheese and dressing, and coleslaw. Side dish with the dinner was mashed potatoes and a sweet potato. The meats served included: Flank Steak, Top Sirloin, Chorizo Sausage, Bacon wrapped Turkey Breast, Rib Eye, Filet Mignon, Chicken Wing, Shiskabob,, Pork Loin with parmegian cheese,, Chicken Thigh, Carmelized pineapple. (They also brought some tasty mushrooms with melted parmesan. Seemed I didn't get the chicken thigh or lamb leg, but I sat there and ate everything for an hour because, well, I never get full, but eventually decided it was time to stop. The food did not disappoint. Price about $50 USD. Totally worth it. The only criticism was that the chicken was a bit burned on the outside. I'll be back with friends. Be sure to arrive very hungry like I did, otherwise you might not get to taste everything.
